So Go Solar fitted a Zappi car charger, my roof solar system (18 panels & inverter) an Eddi and a Solar edge 10 KWH Battery. The planning was first class Ben came out for a site visit in advance and discussed the project at length answering all of our questions and gave us a master class in the terms and terminology. The installation was carried out by a first class team of professionals each with their own tasks and skillsets. They were happy to explain as they went along and take input from a hovering client. Upon completion the operation of the system was explained and it has worked without hic-cup ever since. Ben reappeared a few days later to confirm that we were happy. I would highly recommend this team to anyone that asks.

He worked with us to get the correct solution for a non-standard installation where the panels formed an integral part of a new roof. The installation of the 10Kva battery and controls was very neat with the battery set up to charge from excess panel production or overnight from the grid at cheap rates. Having decided to consider a solar panel installation we contacted several companies for advice and quotes. Two companies were the most responsive, visited our property and provided detailed quotes. We chose Sogosolar because they showed interest in our specific requirements and were able to provide explanations of the different systems available - their performance, reliability and costs. Ben carefully listened to our questions and was able to guide us through various options, based on a variety of system specifications for our property. We finally narrowed it down to one that suited us (2 Enphase IQ batteries and 14 Aiko panels). We had the added complication of having a new roof at the same time but this was not a problem. Ben and his team were able to communicate and coordinate their schedule with the roofers and all went smoothly. The Sogosolar team installed the system on the planned date, turning up on time with the minimum of fuss and it was up and running the next day. The work ethic of the Sogosolar team is excellent and it is evident that they are proud of their work. Throughout this whole process, Ben and his staff were in regular communication with us. Since the installation the follow-up service has been excellent and four months on we are exceptionally pleased with the performance of the system.

Very happy - Ben talked us through everything from beginning to end, made several treks out beyond his normal range to measure up and fit, and did the work quickly and efficiently, leaving no mess and no surprises. Our new 6kW system with inverter, battery and zappi eV charger is all up and running well.

Ben and his team installed solar panels, battery and backup device. I chose SoGo because Ben's advice beforehand was so useful compared with the competition. I thought I knew what I wanted but Ben made me realise what I didn't need. The price was fair for the system I wanted. Unfortunately after the installation, some electronics was not working properly. This was not SoGo's fault, it turned out that something needed to be done by the manufacturer who were slow in responding. Ben's interaction and perseverance with the company ensured that we received a software fix that cured the problem. We have a highly efficient system now and are grateful to SoGo. The team worked well to fit system efficiently, they were intelligent and friendly and answered all of my questions. I would recommend SoGo highly.

This is the second time I have used SoGoSolar. The first was to fit solar panels and this time to fit a battery to the system. Not having any experience with solar systems I asked 3 companies to quote and met two. After getting a hard sell from the first company it was a pleasure to meet Ben and discover that the focus was on getting a viable solution with real world outcomes rather than over promising. I went with SoGoSolar for the solar panel installation because I could ask questions and understand the answers and the reasons behind the answers. The Battery installation was simpler because I knew what I wanted and just needed a good price. I got two other quotes but SoGoSolar was the lowest of the quotes so my decision was simple, go with people I trust. We then hit a regulatory challenge to do with UK Power Networks need for an uprated fuse at our property and that delayed the installation a few weeks but I was kept informed and supported throughout. When the work was done it was very well done (extra thought went into fitting the 'control boxes' into a tight space) and everything was left clean and tidy. I can strongly recommend SoGoSolar and I doubt I will go elsewhere for solar work as long as the combination of good service and fair pricing is maintained.
