We had a new conservatory roof made and fitted by Solarframes. From the initial survey to the final sign off, it has been very straightforward with really clear and regular communication. The workmen have been excellent - polite, tidy, and wokr of a high quality. The whole installation was completed within 3 weeks, and we would have no hesitation in using them again.

We used SolarFrame to replace a 17 window 6x3m conservatory for an extension with a solid roof and sliding doors. The company really don’t hang around and get to work quickly. The whole process was seamless which was unexpected given the different trades required. All work was completed to a high standard and the workmen were exceptionally tidy and respectful. Having an allocated coordinator throughout was fantastic. Kat is an asset to the company and goes out of her way to answer any queries and concerns. Without her our experience would have been so much different. I have zero complaints and would highly recommend this company. My only regret is that we haven’t done this sooner! My advice…..jump in with two feet, you won’t regret it.

From start to finish we were treated with the upmost respect. The two fitters Andrew and Declan were absolutely brilliant. They cleaned up at the end of each day and it was spotless. They were polite, friendly and extremely efficient. They made the experience very positive. I would definitely recommend them, they are an asset to SolarFrame. The quality of the product is outstanding and made such a difference to our home. Many thanks to all of the staff involved in this process.

We were surprised at the speed with which Lee and Brandon took down our old conservatory and put in place the frame for the new one. All expertly done, and with the minimum of time. The plasterer also, with the minimum of fuss, did an excellent job. Particular mention must be given to Matt who did all the finishing touches. Beautifully done with all the seals etc perfect. Throughout all this, managed so well by Julia - even when the glass supplier let us all down, Julia was still on top of new arrangements and keeping us informed. Thank you to you all. From start to finish, we had the impression of dealing with a very professional company in terms of information supplied, contact details, financial options and reliable tradesmen. The replacement conservatory roof was installed on schedule despite the weather by a team of skilled and hard-working tradesmen. Special thanks to the fitters for going the extra mile and to the technician on the final day for resolving all the inevitable minor issues. The supply of information after completion was comprehensive in terms of aftercare, warranties and useful advice. All in all, a highly successful transaction.

We had new front, back and french doors and were very pleased with the result . Great service with reliable fitters. They even continued in a downpour to complete the work.

Great job by John and Perry replacing 6 windows all requiring new lintels too and one door at our bungalow this week. The care and consideration they showed us during the 4 days at our house is greatly appreciated when my wife had to prepare for a hospital procedure on Wednesday and needed access to the bathroom constantly during the work. They were very efficient and tidy and a pleasure to have at our house. From first contact with Solarframe to completing the job our experience has been excellent and we were kept informed all through the process. I recommend them to anyone wanting new UPVC windows.

We had our old conservatory replaced with a new one from Solar Frames. Our old South facing conservatory was too hot in summer and too cold in winter. Solars design, with insulated solid roof and energy saving glass walls, has resolved our old conservatory problems. The work was completed as planned to the cost agreed. The trade workers and technicians were competent, friendly and very helpful in resolving final finishing items. We are very happy with our new conservatory.

Conservatory roof and two external doors fitted Having spoken to a few companies about getting this work done Solarframe were expensive when compared to the others, however, their sales person who came round to see us was convincing enough about the quality of the products and the fitting service so we went with them. I liked how there were no cheap sales tactics employed, no time limited offers to pressure a sale, no repeated calling. Timescales for fitting were accurate, all took a few weeks but expectations were set and kept to. The fitters at every stage were great, turned up on time, incredibly tidy in their work (you'd barely know they'd been) and the end result was spot on. We had one slight issue with our pre-existing blind fittings in the conservatory, the roof was slightly too low for me to re-fit the brackets but the finishing team took care of it for me, refitted them all without any fuss. To sum up, Solarframe prices are premium but their service and product quality matches that premium.

We are very pleased with our conservatory refurbishment: new roof, doors and windows. The work was carried out professionally and quickly and all working areas left as clean and tidy as possible during the various stages of the work carried out. We were consulted throughout over any issues and the project has been completed to our full satisfaction.

Our Solarframe windows were installed by the team of Andrew and Deklan who made a superb job, the windows and doors are faultless and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them to help us. The windows and doors have made the house so much warmer and quieter, thank you so much, everyone.

Just had a 3m x 3m rear extension costing over £23,000, the sales person agreed verbally to fit brushed chrome fittings and floor would be left smooth for any type of flooring. They fitted wrong electrics and refused to level and smooth concrete flooring which would have cost £70-100. They agreed to replace electrics as goodwill even though the sales person got it wrong. Suggest you record all conversations and agreements made by the sales people, who to be fair, say and promise a lot to get the order. On the plus side the work was completed by excellent trades people, brickies, plasterers electricians all brilliant but will not comment on what their opinion on Solarframe Direct Limited was and the way we treated A decent company but just be careful what they say.

We have had our conservatory windows along with kitchen and bathroom windows replaced to modernise our 1960’s bungalow. After delaying our installation due to overrunning on our part after having a loft conversion installed Solar frame we’re helpful in delaying the installation a month to accommodate our fitting and kept us informed. Slight problem after installation but once the reason was understood we accepted the explanation.

We’ve had windows from Solarframe before. That experience gave us confidence of a good product for replacing other windows. Great communication and the sales, surveyor, customer contact and fitting teams were all excellent, especially the fitting teams.

Since having our Orangery roof built by another company we had problems with a leak which after many visits the company failed to successfully resolve, when it became dangerous due to water affecting the electrics we called solar frame and asked for about a new roof. They came and looked at it and saw it was dangerous and needed urgent replacement. The next week they sent an electrician and isolated the power, then because of the coming winter we’re quick to begin the work and we’re professional through out the old roof was removed and the area cleared and within a week the new roof was on the the plasters and electric did they’re bit and finally a inspection and cleaning to make sure we we happy with the work , they were professional worked through awful weather and cleaned up after each visit we would like to thank them for their work, it wasn’t cheap but it was a well worth it. We willingly recommend solar frame to anyone.

3rd time using Solarframe. No issues on the previous 2 occasions but weren't so lucky this time. A combination of poor communication between departments, unwillingness to take responsibility, blame being assigned to someone else, staff holidays (no issue with staff taking holidays as long as the job is passed onto someone else) and incompetence (installation team turned up on 3 occasions with the same frame & glass incorrectly measured, they finally got it right on the 4th attempt) resulted in a job which should have taken 6 weeks took 20 weeks to complete! As a form of recompense we were offered a £100 M&S voucher, we are still waiting to receive it. We won't be using Solarframe again!

The installation of the sliding patio door should have taken 2 days, but it took 83 days. On two occasions, Solar Frame got the measurements of the unit wrong. We endured 7 weeks of having unplastered walls and draughts, then another 5 weeks before the job was fully completed. The treadboard is warped, but I have not let them take it up to replace because of the risk of consequential damage. I have sent an e mail and two letters to Solar Frame (one to the Operations Director) asking for compensation, but have received no replies to any of them.

We were having most of the windows in our house changed so it was really important we went with the right company. After having several quotes we decided to go ahead with Solar Frame and we were not disappointed with our choice. The salesperson visited the house (on an evening) and took the time to go through everything with us, gave the best advice and reassured us of the quality of the products. When it came to fitting John and Steve both did an excellent job. They talked me through the fitting of each window to make sure I was happy and every window was fitted to a high standard during the three days they were here. I would definitely recommend Solar Frame!

Fiona was very professional kept me informed when fitters would arrive and how long they would take. She Emailed and telephoned on a regular basis. Scott and Dale fitted the roof. They were punctual and their work was quality. they were friendly and polite and also left the area clean and tidy. The electrician and plasterers work was quality.

we would like to thank first of all Steve,who came and told us all about solarframe and showed us the quality of the windows that they make .we were very impressed by them . in the next couple of weeks we got a call from Fiona our co-ordinator with a date to install them the lads Andy and Karl came and started on the wednesday got 5 of the windows in that day cleaned up after themselves nice !! didnt expect that. in the next 2 days would they had finished the job ,they never stopped ( well they did for a cuppa ) lol they liked their tea but didnt string it out .we would recomend this firm to anyone

Contracted Solarframe to replace the frames and install a new solid roof on my existing conservatory. Very happy with the finished article but very disappointed with the organizing of the work. Where it should have been maybe five days work the job in total took five weeks. I had a number of last minute cancelled arrangements for work by the coordinator as the workmen had been sent on different jobs and were unable to attend. With two days without windows and three week wait for the correct doors the organization was not what I would have expected.

My old conservatory, formerly an ice-box in cold weather or an oven on sunny days, and suffering from a leaky roof, has been totally transformed into a delightful room for all seasons and all weather conditions. I was impressed by the high standards of the company and its products, right from the moment that the initial survey was done, and I am pleased to report that the finished build quality and appearance is highly satisfactory, both inside and out. I have nothing but praise for the office staff who kept me fully informed of dates and times, and for the fitting team, who worked tirelessly and with great dedication. They are all a credit to the company. I want to record my special appreciation of the many extra hours that fitters Mick and Martin spent working round a design issue, related to the unusual configuration of the box gutter, which impeded the construction of the roof structure. They also suggested a slightly modified junction between the vaulted ceiling and the window tops (a pelmet trim on the two outward-facing sides of the conservatory, instead of a sloping junction between the ceiling and the window frames) to match the pelmets on the other two sides which had box gutters. This allowed me to fix suspended blinds uniformly all the way round, underneath the pelmet boards, and the end result is extremely pleasing to the eye.

Very satisfied with all aspects of work. Workmen arrived on time and worked extremely hard and were very unobtrusive. Quality of work is first class and the clearing up afterwards was much appreciated.

Positives first. Our new extension, which cost £14000+ was very well built by excellent fitters and after painting the ceiling and walls it now looks good However, although we were assured both in the showroom and in our living room that very little light would be lost we're now left with a permanently gloomy main living room which will require lighting throughout the day. I spoke with the company who eventually put me onto the sales director, who disputed everything I had to say, accusing me of being a liar, stupid, then in effect a thief because I was withholding the final small payment until my grievance was heard. Now paid just to put an end to this trauma. Not a pleasant experience which I will never repeat. A pity as all the other staff were very friendly and helpful. Workmanship great, communication dreadful. They will of course deny everything, use your own judgement
