Very pleased with the service and quality of units/replacement roof system and doors. A large job for us replacing all existing windows and doors and a new solid roof on the conservatory (from polycarbonate). Although there were some unforeseen challenges with delivery of materials etc , excellent communications throughout with Kat meant it was all completed to high quality and standard I had hoped for from the outset. Great fitters - Dave/Leigh. Would recommend.

This is the service you get for £23,640 Conservatory windows and doors replacing and a Solid Tiled Roof 1.Came to fit but had forgot to make the Roof Frame. 2.Electrician never turned up no one contacted us then when he did he hadn't the correct fittings. 3.There was a gap in the door where you could see the outside letting in a freezing draft. Had to have new frame and door made 4.Solar Frame did not clean the glass on the windows, so when we did there were suction marks inside the double glazing on 2 of the large windows. We eventually got them replaced 5.This is the worst when it rained the roof where it meets the outside wall started leaking .A fitter came out put some sealant under the flashing. Then it rained again and it leaked down the inside of the wall in 7 places .Solar Frame came and fitter said that the original fitters damaged the rendering and water is seeping through. We are now waiting for him to come back. 6.On 17/6 we chased up the warranty work on the leaking roof. The representative on the phone said there were no details of our case as the person who came to look at the roof no longer worked for them. If we had not called yet again nothing would be done. Update An Engineer came around said that where the roof meets the wall was totally insufficient to prevent water ingress should have been deep cut lead flashings. This work has now still to be done. Was marked as urgent which to them is 14/7.It is now the 2/7 and rain in pouring in down inside wall.

We would highly recommend this Company...…. From the initial visit from their representative, the actual work done and the way the work was project managed was excellent! Their representative gave us lots of advise and ideas and we finally came up with a plan of what we wanted. When the works commenced it was the wettest May in history and the groundworkers/bricklayers worked as cleanly and efficiently as they possibly could under the circumstances and their workmanship was faultless. The roofers/window fitters worked quickly, cleanly and efficiently and we were very pleased with their work too. Then came the electrician, plumber and plasterers, who were all excellent trades and even though there were a few problems along the way they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done to a high level. Kat who coordinated the whole thing did an amazing job and made the whole project effortless on our part by organizing everything very efficiently. All in all we can't speak higher of Solarframe and would not hesitate to recommend. A big thank you to all the team. Keep up the good work!!

We ordered a garden room to use as an office for our new build. Not cheap but you pay for what you get and prices of materials are rocketing. There was a major issue with water when the base was laid due to excessive rain and with the garden just being laid. The team had to rethink the base which they did without any drama and with no extra cost. When completed it looked superb and the electricians and plasterers did a great job. Everyone came when they said they would all coordinated by Sarah. Very courteous team. Every question I asked was answered with no trouble. You don't get guttering with the building just make sure you find somewhere for the water to go. I added a 210 ltr water barrel which does the job. You also need to find skirting board for the room. I went for plastic which looks great, easy to fit and added £80 to the cost. Also if like me I also budgeted for carpeting and door and window blinds. The room adds to our new garden and we are so pleased with it.

Using Solarframe for new windows and door has been the most stressful experience I have had in a long time. Customer service has been absolutely shocking. Repeatedly not turning up and not informing us until the day after we have taken days off work. We were told their window systems were far superior to any other window firm and couldn't need triple glazing, utter rubbish they haven't made any difference whatsoever!! They only use subcontractors to install who really couldn't care less how they fit them. Unprofessional overpriced company. Stay away!

They replaced old polycarbonate roof with a light weight roof done on time and per quotation, they talked us through all the options first they were no pressure on us sale wise we came to a joint decision. They clearly new there product well they kept us in formed every step of the process and followed every phone call and any glitches was dealt with satisfactory.

We’re very satisfied with the end result and we spend a lot of time in the conservatory, it’s a great space and it’s now part of the house that offers an extra room for us that’s much more liveable. I always used the conservatory a lot but, now that it’s been upgraded, everyone wants to be in there. ‘We were so satisfied that, when the conservatory was done, we ordered new windows and doors for the rest of the house. The house looks great, we went for anthracite grey frames that have a more modern feel and we’re really very pleased with all the work SolarFrame has done. The windows not only look great but the house is warmer and draught free so we should see a drop in heating bills in the winter months.

Converted my conservatory into a hybrid conservatory/orangery. Bricked up one wall, replaced frames and doors, installed new tiled roof. Insides plastered, new window boards, skirting, spotlights, sockets and switches. Quality of work is second to none. All the fitters, plasterers and electrician were very pleasant chaps. Always left the house tidy at the end of the day. From start to finish it has run like clockwork. Always kept updated by the office on when trades are coming etc... Very pleased with how smoothly it went and with the works done. No hesitation in recommending Solarframe at all.

Excellent work from Alan & Liam & rest of the team never stopped working while they were here always cleaned up after they finished each day.

We had our conservatory roof replaced and the difference it has made is incredible, now rather than a dumping ground for coats and wellies. The salesman who came to see us was great and was not at all pushy and our installations coordinator kept us informed about when we could expect the work to start. The team of lads that did the work were professional and did a great job and the workmanship is super. I would definitely recommend Solarframe to anyone.

This is a case of ‘defeat being snatched from the jaws of victory’. The sales, survey and removal and installation of a patio door and a window went really well; the fitters couldn’t have been more helpful. Within 15 mins of the fitters finishing, I had paid the outstanding bill. We had had 5 blinds in the windows and when I came to put them back in place, because the position of the new windows had changed and they had used trims to finish the work, the clips holding in the blinds wouldn’t work. I rang SolarFrame and at first the response was helpful: send photos, etc., and a couple of follow-up calls. Then it went quiet. I made around 7 calls to them and my coordinator’s phone was either engaged, she was away from her desk, she’d gone home, etc. In that latter stage, not one of my calls was returned. Even if they’d decided that they weren’t going to do anything more, a call to that effect would have stopped me wasting my time. After 10 days, I was fortunate enough to be able to take a couple of hours to refit the blinds myself. A couple of days later, I had an email from SolarFrame saying that they were still looking for a technician to do the work required. I responded that as I’d now done the work, and saved the company, money, time and effort, they should compensate me to the amount of £50. Of course, 1 week later, I’ve heard nothing back, despite sending a reminder. I’d use them again, probably, but I wouldn’t be so quick to fully settle the bill.

We had a patio door fitted and the service from the initial enquiry right through to the fitting was excellent. Communication is great and reliable, phone calls returned and info sent when promised. The installation went very well and was competed by an excellent fitter who was clearly competent and had an excellent manner and left the room cleaner than when the work started. Overall an excellent experience and great value for money

While our job had numerous big mistakes and problems along the way it did get finished and to a high standard, albeit some four weeks late. The fitters, Dave and Lee were outstanding and a pleasure to have on site. Mark, the electrician and Daz & the team of plasterers were great too as was the clean up technician. Kat did her very best trying to liaise and re-organise things on numerous occasions and Will really helped to restore our faith in the company. While the process of our job wasn’t a pleasant one, the company got things back on track and compensated us for the delay and inconvenience caused. We now have a lovely, warm and quiet conservatory and I’d definitely recommend a SupaLite tiled roof.

I have waited a long time to leave this review simply because I wanted to think before leaving a negative comment as it is not in my nature to do this. The quality of the work of SolarFrame was very good. Especially that of the workmen and engineers. The customer service was poor and the sales manager was extremely rude. The worst experience I have ever had in 30 years of dealing with customer services. I have informed the managing director of this and hope that he would look further into this as the reputation of his company was previously very good. Mr Ali, Sheffield

Visited showroom first week in August for advice and quote. Had a visit from Rob Bly the the same day. Satisfied with price for door and windows. Did think work might be done before November but have to take Covid situation into account. Fitters Leigh and Dave we’re punctual and completed work in a day less than expected. Fitters and Bob were down to earth and easy to speak too and Kat in the office explained things clearly. Satisfied with the products and would recommend them to anyone

I am extremely pleased with the work carried out to convert my Conservatory. All product is high quality and I am totally satisfied with the work carried out by the team of workers who carried out the various tasks, bricklaying, roof installation and electrics. The work was delayed by bad weather however I was kept fully informed of the delays in the schedule. Thank you.

A big thank you to Dave & Leigh for taking our old conservatory down, taking it away & building us a fabulous new one & replacing windows to the back of our house Darren & his lads were brilliant & the plastering was done quickly & efficiently with no mess Steve the electrician, & the 2 young plumbers all did a great job they all worked well alongside each other & were all well mannered & polite. We are very happy with the work done & the price we paid A big thank you to Kat Padovan for overseeing the project & always being there to answer any queries that we had.

From the very first visit things were going wrong. I twice tried to cancel the project but was talked round. When the foundations were put in the base height was too high and had to be lowered. When the build was due to start the parts had been built wrong so I had another 4 week delay. The fact that the base had been lowered meant that the only way to cover the water membrane was to plaster the inside which is not what I ordered I wanted brickwork showing. I was not happy with the way the final technician left the conservatory and if I hadn't paid my final bill before he finished work I wouldn't of paid the bill. These are a quick list of the problems I encountered during my time with Solarframe.

From start to finish the project was excellent. From the initial contact to the completed job. Outstanding quality of roof. Really satisfied. Would highly recommend.

We had the front windows of our bungalow done and a new front door. They fitted them all in one day. We were so pleased we ordered the back windows the next day. The day of the fitting it rained all day it the two fitters never stopped. Really great job. The chaps who came to measure up for the windows were really good as well. We have had lots of compliments on how nice the door looks. Very pleased.

Solarframe were brilliant from start to finish! Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable ... and not a pushy salesperson in sight! They replaced the roof and windows on my conservatory and all doors and windows in the house. The whole process was slick and seamless with the job being completed in 5 days. Everyone I encountered was really professional and clearly cared about the job they were doing. I cannot recommend them enough and the finished product looks great!

We had a composite door fitted and the whole process from my first call to the fitters arriving and fitting the door, was a professional one. The fitters were a credit to themselves and the company. Very poite, informative and hardworking. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. A first class service throughout. I will definitely use them again.

Replacement conservatory and new SupaLite Roof was carried out from start to finish in the most professional way. From the placement of the contract I was kept informed from the initial survey to the final completion survey and Clean, the fitters and plasterers worked to a very high standard and treated my home with respect all the time they were there and completed on time. I have ended up with a new room that is now warm enough to sit in, even in the snow and cold weather that we're having at the moment, something that we haven't been able to do in our old conservatory. I would recommend Solarframe direct without hesitation.
