I recently had new windows, frames and a solid roof replaced on my existing conservatory. From the consultation to completion it was so stress free, Conor our installation Co-ordinator e-mailed the schedule of works to be completed, including a complete breakdown of how and who would be completing the work. Conor rang the day prior to the start of the installation to confirm that the team would start on our agreed date, calling everyday until the installation was complete with updates and also asking if if we had encountered any issues. The Solarframe installation team was prompt everyday and worked non-stop all day, they were extremely efficient, and friendly also ensuring we were happy with their progress and clearing up each day. Once it was completed, their technician came out to check on the standard of the work ensuring we were happy with our new conservatory, we also had a follow up call from Conor. We are both extremely delighted with our new conservatory and I would happily refer Solarframe to family and friends

Absolutely delighted with our new windows. Great customer service, everyone we dealt with were polite and courteous but special mention to the fitters Mark and Steven who did a brilliant job. Initially we were only going to get 4 windows replaced but soon decided to do the whole house, great decision.

Solarframe have recently completed work to transform our old conservatory into a full extension with new solid roof and bifold doors. We are very happy with the standard of workmanship and even when small issues arose they were corrected quickly and with no fuss. SolarFrame have just completed the replacement of my old, leaky conservatory. From the initial enquiry to completion all the staff who I've been in contact with have been professional and polite. Initial response to my enquiry was prompt, and salesman Rob visited to explain the process and their product. There was no pressure to sign. Once the order had been placed, surveyor George visited to carry out a thorough survey. He explained other options and changes were made to the order without fuss. Shortly after the survey, I was contacted by Co-ordinator Kat who explained the next steps and sent through a schedule of works with dates and names of who would be carrying out what tasks. From electrician, to installer, to plasterer. This communication was very encouraging. When the work was due to start, Kat phoned beforehand to confirm day and time and she kept me informed throughout the work with names, days and times as each team was due. Lovely. Thanks to the hard work of electricians Russ and Callum, installers Dayne and Dean, plasterers Dave and his team and technician Andrew, the work was completed on time to a very high standard and my comments re minor issues were listened to and resolved promptly. I cannot recommend Solarframe highly enough. Very professional and excellent workmanship. Thank you.

I had new windows, a new door and a new roof installed on the existing conservatory base. Connor, my co-ordinator, kept me regularly informed as to what would happen, when it would happen and who would do the work. Everybody arrived when scheduled to do so. Even though persistent rain on the first installation day curtailed activity because the conservatory would be without a roof and windows for several hours, the installers completed the work as planned. All those connected with the company - sales adviser, surveyor, installers, electrician, plasterers and sign-off technician - were mindful of being in my home, and those involved in undertaking the construction went to much trouble to clean up before leaving. The whole process, which took about ten weeks between my visit to the showroom and completion of the installation, was smoothly executed. First impressions of the completed job are favourable.

From contacting Solar Frame I found all staff very informative helpful and polite This alleviated any concerns I had from placing the order. The installations co-ordinator Kat was very good keeping in touch throughout the build. We've recently changed our "too hot in Summer, too cold in Winter" conservatory into what we now call our "extension" by having new window frames and a solid roof fitted by SolarFrame. A brilliant, professional job was done by everyone from start to finish and we are highly delighted with the end result. Everything was kept neat and tidy for us throughout the whole job - and boy, did they work so hard! (and didn't eat too many biscuits!). We had considered for some time replacing the original roof on our 18 year old conservatory with a solid tiled roof. Having spoken at length to salesman Gareth we were confident Solarframe would be the right company to carry out the work. Our existing frames and doors were in reasonable condition but due to their age it was sensible to replace them aswell to get maximum benefit from the whole project. I'm sure moving forward this will prove to be the right decision. Once we had agreed on price and terms we were surprised to get an install date within six weeks. We were then given a schedule of all work to be done and detailed explanation of the process. Connor was then assigned to guide us through the whole process and was in regular contact with updates as things moved forward. Apart from a couple of small delays to the schedule which we were advised of everything went to plan. All the fitters, electricians, plasterers and finishers were very good, friendly and courteous and left the work area tidy. After we had signed off the work we noticed a small cosmetic indentation on a length under the guttering. We advised Connor and a replacement piece was fitted within a week. From our initial visit to Solarframes show room, the subsequent sales visit from Gareth and the surveyor onto Connor's customer service and the work of the tradesmen we have been really impressed and very pleased with the final outcome. Thanks to everyone involved.

I had an old timber frame conservatory that to be honest had seen better days. A leaflet from Solarframe came in the post. Visited showroom in Leeds and arranged for a visit to get a quote. Happy with the price the surveyor came to take all measurements. I then got a call about date for fitting followed by an email from Connor which contained all details we'd discussed. Everyone involved with the installation did a very professional job and always left it clean and tidy. Connor phoned often to let me know times that I could expect people on site. The whole process was thorough and very professional. I'm absolutely delighted with the new conservatory, it's a wonderful transformation from my old tired looking one. I was highly impressed with my first meeting with the design consultant Steve who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Throughout the job I was contacted regularly (phone calls and emails) by the installations co-ordinator Connor, who provided me with detailed information about the schedule of work and to check if I was satisfied with each a stage of the work. I can honestly say that I was more than happy, as the work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard and on time. The guys even worked through the rain to remove the old conservatory roof and install the first stage of the new roof. All work (installation, electrics and plastering) was carried out to a high standard and on time, and the final stage was the technical clean and seal before the job was signed off. I love my new conservatory roof, although it all looks so good I’ve renamed my conservatory my garden room! My painter and decorator completed the transformation, and he and other visitors have also been very impressed with how it looks and how quickly the whole job took, less than 2 weeks. From the showroom in Leeds to the initial appointments with Dave the designer and George the surveyor (who were so professional and helpful) to the fitters, plumber, electrician, plasters (brilliant) and technicians I was very impressed. They all arrived on time, did their jobs efficiently, were polite and always answered any queries and left the work place clean and tidy. All this was managed by Kat my Installation Co-ordinator. I contacted SolarFrame when my conservatory roof (polycarbonate)was damaged during the storms in March, requesting information about their solid roof product, After an home vist the same afternoon the information received, plus potential starting date, I agreed to go ahead with a solid roof replacement. I was contacted by and introduced to the installation coordinator Julia who took me through and confirmed my requirements. The following week I received the notice of start date and process of works for installation team, electrician,plasterer. Everyone of the trade teams I encountered were excellent, arriving 10 min earlier than expected, but just got straight on with the days task, courteous at all times, and leaving everything clean at end if each day. Each morning I would be informed of what the task / aim for the day. I was contacted by the coordinator as and when the trade teams changed and confirm timings. On completion I was given a few days to identify any snagging areas, (2 cosmetic), which were made good the next day. From the initial contact to final sign-off was a stress free experience, and would highly recommend SolarFrame to anyone looking to replace a conservatory roof.

Solar Frame did a great job building our extension two years previously and do we had confidence that they could supply and fit 2 rear windows. From initial visit to installation was simple and straightforward. The team at Solar Frame are friendly and efficient, always communicating. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We appointed Solarframe to replace our old conservatory roof. The transformation has been incredible. It’s a usable space all year round. The tradesmen were all very polite, efficient, clean and tidy. They turned up when expected and we were kept up to date with the schedule through the whole process by the office having one point of contact. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Work was well co-ordinated and the job completed on schedule. Surveyor took time to assess all work required, which included repairs to adjoining wall to prevent water penetration, and subsequent replastering. Excellent job done by the builders, plasterers, electricians and fitters, although the latter let themselves down a little from a cosmetic point of view with an untidy finish to the lead flashing on the side wall. However this was rectified to a high standard by the technician who attended on the final day, and also carried out a full clean of all glasswork. Praise also goes to Julia who kept us informed at all times regarding the dates and times of the various tradesmen's visits.

Never used solarframe before but glad I did. Totally professional team delivering first class windows. Everyone involved had a friendly and efficient attitude. The fitters were like a breath of fresh air; not time wasters forever on their mobiles but good old style grafters who got on with the job and turned out a superb job. Fitters made minimum mess and cleaned up and cleared all the debris at the end. Cannot fault anybody, would definitely recommend these people and use them again.

The whole process from start to finish was faultless. Connor and Adam, the two fitters were very knowledgeable and knew their stuff. They worked together as a team perfectly ensuring the Conservatory went up without a hitch. Any questions I had they answered them staight away. We have just had 4 new windows fitted by Luke and Kez who did a good job and were very good at fitting and cleaning up after themselves . We were very pleased throughout the job. From the beginning the customer care was excellent with an assigned installation coordinator. The surveyor discussed the work to be done with us and explained any concerns. The fitters arrived on time and were very thorough throughout, discussing any problems with us. The finished job is of a very high standard. They took care of the surroundings and everything was left clean and tidy. Every detail was checked with us, window by window. Our only complaint was with the scaffolders (sub-contractors) who did not fit enough scaffolding in the correct locations. This delayed the fitters when they first arrived, but they surmounted this difficulty and still completed well within the time frame. Overall, we were completely satisfied with this job.

We are really pleased we chose Solarframe to upgrade our old and pretty much unusable conservatory from the sales team to the fitters plasterers electrician technical team and Katie the co ordinator were faultless. This was a big project replacing a glass conservatory roof over 10m long and required a skilled contractor. Solarframe were the perfect choice. Our initial requirements were taken on board by the salesman and incorporated into the design. We were concerned about fitting a new roof onto an existing structure and wanted a better drainage system. The architect Wayne reassured us this could be achieved. On commencement a 6 man team lead by Andy with Carl arrived on time, dismantled the old glass roof and working non stop, had the basic new roof in place and watertight by the end of the first day. The welder arrived as scheduled to seal the new box gutter as part of the 1st days schedule. From then on everything progressed as planned with Stewart the electrician visiting twice for the initial and final fit in between the 2 days for Dave to plaster. All the team were great, respectful and tidy. Andy was great explaining issues and solutions and Kat in the office kept in touch to make sure everything progressed as expected. This was a 2 week contract and a substantial project costing a significant sum of money, so obviously it was a big decision. We went with Solarframe because they were a local trusted trader, with good reviews on Which. We have not been disappointed with our choice and would recommend Solarframe.

During our research we looked at many company reviews & narrowed it down to 2 to visit & obtain quotes on the strength of the existing available feedback. We were very impressed with the showroom site and all the staff we spoke to & dealt with throughout the process. From the sales rep Mr Jopson to the the technician who checked and finished job SolarFrame have done an excellent job. Special mention has to go to Kat the co-ordinator who kept me informed all through the installation of my roof. Despite the rain on the first day the fitters Dean & Dagne did as much as they could before the rain stopped them. They explained why they had stopped and then completed the roof with speed the next couple of days. All the other people from Stew the electrian to the plasterers Daz & helper who worked on my conservatory came on time and did an excellent job. They were all informative and pleasant . We chose Solarframe to fit Triple glazing to the front of our property and double glazing to the rest of our windows. From Gareth the salesman who came out to show the benefits of the Solarframe product, to Stuart the surveyor, to Conor our project manager who kept us fully informed of what was happening when, and finally to our fitters John and Perry who did a perfect job of fitting our windows. The attention to detail in the finish on the trims and sealing up really exceeded our expectations. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. From the salesman who called originally, to the customer service who kept me informed throughout of what was going to happened on a day to day basis. And especially to all of the tradesmen who worked on the various aspects of fitting my new solid roof. They were all very professional, excellent and tidy workers.

I chose Solar frame to teplace my existing leaking conservatory, like for like. I wanted a reputable company and had often received adverts through the post or see them around. From start to finish all the persons involved were professional. I never felt pushed into more. The sales person was realistic with me and spent time. I was updated throughout from the office. The installers, plasteter and technician were all friendly and professional. They took their time and worked to a high standard. They involved me throughout and were very accomodating to my work commitments. The finished conservatory looks fantastic a lovely improvement to my home and free if leaks.

Everything was so professional and well organised. The team worked really hard and did a fabulous job. All in all the whole thing took 4 days to do - we had a complete window and door replacement as well as a proper new roof fitted on our conservatory plus external led lights. I personally loved the way we were kept informed by the office.

We used SolarFrame because they often send leaflets through the door, but also because we visited their showroom in Leeds. We didn't know what we wanted to do (either replace our roof with glass or make it solid) but the showroom really helped us decide. We requested SolarFrame organise a designer to come round while in the showroom, and he came over a few days later. He was able to give us a quote and show us what everything would look like the same hour he arrived, which surprised us. We ended up getting an earlier start date as it was a "simple job", which was proven correct considering the builders managed to do the whole thing in a single day. An electrician turned up the day after the roof went on and did some of the groundwork for our lighting, then the day after the plasterer finished off the build. As this was over Christmas, we then needed to wait for the new year to complete everything. We painted the ceiling in that time so that once the electrician came back and finished the lighting in the new year, it would be easier to paint (would recommend doing this). The electrician went over and above and sorted out a fault in our wiring that was preventing the lights from being hooked up, so many thanks to him. Finally, someone came to touch up and seal any holes. Our coordinator kept us up-to-date on everything during this period and everything went smoothly. This did cost us a surprising amount, however we think that it was worth every penny.

We used Solarframe to replace the frames and roof on our conservatory. We are pleased with the work completed and although we had some issues during the build, Solarframe were good at liaising with us to try and rectify these. We were mostly kept informed of when tradesmen were going to arrive on site and were contacted at various points to check all was going as planned. The tradesmen arrived promptly each day and were polite and hardworking answering any questions we had. The roof is great quality and looks fantastic but we had some issues with the smaller windows in our build, however the fitters, technicians and co-ordinator all worked together to get these finished to our satisfaction. The plastering is of a good standard and the electricians were great and very prompt too. Everyone also tidied up and left everything clean after their part was complete. Overall we are happy with our new conservatory but I would advise others to highlight anything you aren't happy with as Solarframe were happy to put right anything that was not quite up to scratch.

Love our doors and huge picture window. Installation done without a hitch despite weight of the glass. Will definitely be using SolarFrame again.

The planning and work was carried out really efficiently. The location meant the builders had to do loads of lifting and shifting, which they did without complaint. Regular messages through out informing us of the work and dates and times of the upcoming work so we could arrrange access etc. Snags dealt with effectively and promptly, which is all you can ask for when dealing with builders. Everyone involved was excellent, from Kat coordinating from the office, the electrician Stew, the plasterers Daz and team and especially Maccauley and Billy who worked through the rain. We had a new conservatory roof made and fitted by Solarframes. From the initial survey to the final sign off, it has been very straightforward with really clear and regular communication. The workmen have been excellent - polite, tidy, and wokr of a high quality. The whole installation was completed within 3 weeks, and we would have no hesitation in using them again.

We used SolarFrame to replace a 17 window 6x3m conservatory for an extension with a solid roof and sliding doors. The company really don’t hang around and get to work quickly. The whole process was seamless which was unexpected given the different trades required. All work was completed to a high standard and the workmen were exceptionally tidy and respectful. Having an allocated coordinator throughout was fantastic. Kat is an asset to the company and goes out of her way to answer any queries and concerns. Without her our experience would have been so much different. I have zero complaints and would highly recommend this company. My only regret is that we haven’t done this sooner! My advice…..jump in with two feet, you won’t regret it.

From start to finish we were treated with the upmost respect. The two fitters Andrew and Declan were absolutely brilliant. They cleaned up at the end of each day and it was spotless. We were surprised at the speed with which Lee and Brandon took down our old conservatory and put in place the frame for the new one. All expertly done, and with the minimum of time. The plasterer also, with the minimum of fuss, did an excellent job. Particular mention must be given to Matt who did all the finishing touches. Beautifully done with all the seals etc perfect. Throughout all this, managed so well by Julia - even when the glass supplier let us all down, Julia was still on top of new arrangements and keeping us informed. Thank you to you all. From start to finish, we had the impression of dealing with a very professional company in terms of information supplied, contact details, financial options and reliable tradesmen. The replacement conservatory roof was installed on schedule despite the weather by a team of skilled and hard-working tradesmen. Special thanks to the fitters for going the extra mile and to the technician on the final day for resolving all the inevitable minor issues. The supply of information after completion was comprehensive in terms of aftercare, warranties and useful advice. All in all, a highly successful transaction.

We had new front, back and french doors and were very pleased with the result . Great service with reliable fitters. They even continued in a downpour to complete the work.

Great job by John and Perry replacing 6 windows all requiring new lintels too and one door at our bungalow this week. The care and consideration they showed us during the 4 days at our house is greatly appreciated when my wife had to prepare for a hospital procedure on Wednesday and needed access to the bathroom constantly during the work. They were very efficient and tidy and a pleasure to have at our house. From first contact with Solarframe to completing the job our experience has been excellent and we were kept informed all through the process. I recommend them to anyone wanting new UPVC windows.

We had our old conservatory replaced with a new one from Solar Frames. Our old South facing conservatory was too hot in summer and too cold in winter. Solars design, with insulated solid roof and energy saving glass walls, has resolved our old conservatory problems. The work was completed as planned to the cost agreed. The trade workers and technicians were competent, friendly and very helpful in resolving final finishing items. We are very happy with our new conservatory.

Conservatory roof and two external doors fitted Having spoken to a few companies about getting this work done Solarframe were expensive when compared to the others, however, their sales person who came round to see us was convincing enough about the quality of the products and the fitting service so we went with them. I liked how there were no cheap sales tactics employed, no time limited offers to pressure a sale, no repeated calling. Timescales for fitting were accurate, all took a few weeks but expectations were set and kept to. The fitters at every stage were great, turned up on time, incredibly tidy in their work (you'd barely know they'd been) and the end result was spot on. We had one slight issue with our pre-existing blind fittings in the conservatory, the roof was slightly too low for me to re-fit the brackets but the finishing team took care of it for me, refitted them all without any fuss. To sum up, Solarframe prices are premium but their service and product quality matches that premium.

We are very pleased with our conservatory refurbishment: new roof, doors and windows. The work was carried out professionally and quickly and all working areas left as clean and tidy as possible during the various stages of the work carried out. We were consulted throughout over any issues and the project has been completed to our full satisfaction.

Our Solarframe windows were installed by the team of Andrew and Deklan who made a superb job, the windows and doors are faultless and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them to help us. The windows and doors have made the house so much warmer and quieter, thank you so much, everyone.

Just had a 3m x 3m rear extension costing over £23,000, the sales person agreed verbally to fit brushed chrome fittings and floor would be left smooth for any type of flooring. They fitted wrong electrics and refused to level and smooth concrete flooring which would have cost £70-100. They agreed to replace electrics as goodwill even though the sales person got it wrong. Suggest you record all conversations and agreements made by the sales people, who to be fair, say and promise a lot to get the order. On the plus side the work was completed by excellent trades people, brickies, plasterers electricians all brilliant but will not comment on what their opinion on Solarframe Direct Limited was and the way we treated A decent company but just be careful what they say.

We have had our conservatory windows along with kitchen and bathroom windows replaced to modernise our 1960’s bungalow. After delaying our installation due to overrunning on our part after having a loft conversion installed Solar frame we’re helpful in delaying the installation a month to accommodate our fitting and kept us informed. Slight problem after installation but once the reason was understood we accepted the explanation.

We’ve had windows from Solarframe before. That experience gave us confidence of a good product for replacing other windows. Great communication and the sales, surveyor, customer contact and fitting teams were all excellent, especially the fitting teams.

Since having our Orangery roof built by another company we had problems with a leak which after many visits the company failed to successfully resolve, when it became dangerous due to water affecting the electrics we called solar frame and asked for about a new roof. They came and looked at it and saw it was dangerous and needed urgent replacement. The next week they sent an electrician and isolated the power, then because of the coming winter we’re quick to begin the work and we’re professional through out the old roof was removed and the area cleared and within a week the new roof was on the the plasters and electric did they’re bit and finally a inspection and cleaning to make sure we we happy with the work , they were professional worked through awful weather and cleaned up after each visit we would like to thank them for their work, it wasn’t cheap but it was a well worth it. We willingly recommend solar frame to anyone.

3rd time using Solarframe. No issues on the previous 2 occasions but weren't so lucky this time. A combination of poor communication between departments, unwillingness to take responsibility, blame being assigned to someone else, staff holidays (no issue with staff taking holidays as long as the job is passed onto someone else) and incompetence (installation team turned up on 3 occasions with the same frame & glass incorrectly measured, they finally got it right on the 4th attempt) resulted in a job which should have taken 6 weeks took 20 weeks to complete! As a form of recompense we were offered a £100 M&S voucher, we are still waiting to receive it. We won't be using Solarframe again!

The installation of the sliding patio door should have taken 2 days, but it took 83 days. On two occasions, Solar Frame got the measurements of the unit wrong. We endured 7 weeks of having unplastered walls and draughts, then another 5 weeks before the job was fully completed. The treadboard is warped, but I have not let them take it up to replace because of the risk of consequential damage. I have sent an e mail and two letters to Solar Frame (one to the Operations Director) asking for compensation, but have received no replies to any of them.

We were having most of the windows in our house changed so it was really important we went with the right company. After having several quotes we decided to go ahead with Solar Frame and we were not disappointed with our choice. The salesperson visited the house (on an evening) and took the time to go through everything with us, gave the best advice and reassured us of the quality of the products. When it came to fitting John and Steve both did an excellent job. They talked me through the fitting of each window to make sure I was happy and every window was fitted to a high standard during the three days they were here. I would definitely recommend Solar Frame!

Fiona was very professional kept me informed when fitters would arrive and how long they would take. She Emailed and telephoned on a regular basis. Scott and Dale fitted the roof. They were punctual and their work was quality. they were friendly and polite and also left the area clean and tidy. The electrician and plasterers work was quality.

we would like to thank first of all Steve,who came and told us all about solarframe and showed us the quality of the windows that they make .we were very impressed by them . in the next couple of weeks we got a call from Fiona our co-ordinator with a date to install them the lads Andy and Karl came and started on the wednesday got 5 of the windows in that day cleaned up after themselves nice !! didnt expect that. in the next 2 days would they had finished the job ,they never stopped ( well they did for a cuppa ) lol they liked their tea but didnt string it out .we would recomend this firm to anyone

Contracted Solarframe to replace the frames and install a new solid roof on my existing conservatory. Very happy with the finished article but very disappointed with the organizing of the work. Where it should have been maybe five days work the job in total took five weeks. I had a number of last minute cancelled arrangements for work by the coordinator as the workmen had been sent on different jobs and were unable to attend. With two days without windows and three week wait for the correct doors the organization was not what I would have expected.

Just had windows and a new conservatory roof fitted by Solarframe Sarah binns and her fitting team were excellent the quality of product and finish is first class 5* off us

My old conservatory, formerly an ice-box in cold weather or an oven on sunny days, and suffering from a leaky roof, has been totally transformed into a delightful room for all seasons and all weather conditions. I was impressed by the high standards of the company and its products, right from the moment that the initial survey was done, and I am pleased to report that the finished build quality and appearance is highly satisfactory, both inside and out. I have nothing but praise for the office staff who kept me fully informed of dates and times, and for the fitting team, who worked tirelessly and with great dedication. They are all a credit to the company. I want to record my special appreciation of the many extra hours that fitters Mick and Martin spent working round a design issue, related to the unusual configuration of the box gutter, which impeded the construction of the roof structure. They also suggested a slightly modified junction between the vaulted ceiling and the window tops (a pelmet trim on the two outward-facing sides of the conservatory, instead of a sloping junction between the ceiling and the window frames) to match the pelmets on the other two sides which had box gutters. This allowed me to fix suspended blinds uniformly all the way round, underneath the pelmet boards, and the end result is extremely pleasing to the eye.

Very satisfied with all aspects of work. Workmen arrived on time and worked extremely hard and were very unobtrusive. Quality of work is first class and the clearing up afterwards was much appreciated.

Positives first. Our new extension, which cost £14000+ was very well built by excellent fitters and after painting the ceiling and walls it now looks good However, although we were assured both in the showroom and in our living room that very little light would be lost we're now left with a permanently gloomy main living room which will require lighting throughout the day. I spoke with the company who eventually put me onto the sales director, who disputed everything I had to say, accusing me of being a liar, stupid, then in effect a thief because I was withholding the final small payment until my grievance was heard. Now paid just to put an end to this trauma. Not a pleasant experience which I will never repeat. A pity as all the other staff were very friendly and helpful. Workmanship great, communication dreadful. They will of course deny everything, use your own judgement

Very pleased with the service and quality of units/replacement roof system and doors. A large job for us replacing all existing windows and doors and a new solid roof on the conservatory (from polycarbonate). Although there were some unforeseen challenges with delivery of materials etc , excellent communications throughout with Kat meant it was all completed to high quality and standard I had hoped for from the outset. Great fitters - Dave/Leigh. Would recommend.

This is the service you get for £23,640 Conservatory windows and doors replacing and a Solid Tiled Roof 1.Came to fit but had forgot to make the Roof Frame. 2.Electrician never turned up no one contacted us then when he did he hadn't the correct fittings. 3.There was a gap in the door where you could see the outside letting in a freezing draft. Had to have new frame and door made 4.Solar Frame did not clean the glass on the windows, so when we did there were suction marks inside the double glazing on 2 of the large windows. We eventually got them replaced 5.This is the worst when it rained the roof where it meets the outside wall started leaking .A fitter came out put some sealant under the flashing. Then it rained again and it leaked down the inside of the wall in 7 places .Solar Frame came and fitter said that the original fitters damaged the rendering and water is seeping through. We are now waiting for him to come back. 6.On 17/6 we chased up the warranty work on the leaking roof. The representative on the phone said there were no details of our case as the person who came to look at the roof no longer worked for them. If we had not called yet again nothing would be done. Update An Engineer came around said that where the roof meets the wall was totally insufficient to prevent water ingress should have been deep cut lead flashings. This work has now still to be done. Was marked as urgent which to them is 14/7.It is now the 2/7 and rain in pouring in down inside wall.

We would highly recommend this Company...…. From the initial visit from their representative, the actual work done and the way the work was project managed was excellent! Their representative gave us lots of advise and ideas and we finally came up with a plan of what we wanted. When the works commenced it was the wettest May in history and the groundworkers/bricklayers worked as cleanly and efficiently as they possibly could under the circumstances and their workmanship was faultless. The roofers/window fitters worked quickly, cleanly and efficiently and we were very pleased with their work too. Then came the electrician, plumber and plasterers, who were all excellent trades and even though there were a few problems along the way they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done to a high level. Kat who coordinated the whole thing did an amazing job and made the whole project effortless on our part by organizing everything very efficiently. All in all we can't speak higher of Solarframe and would not hesitate to recommend. A big thank you to all the team. Keep up the good work!!

We ordered a garden room to use as an office for our new build. Not cheap but you pay for what you get and prices of materials are rocketing. There was a major issue with water when the base was laid due to excessive rain and with the garden just being laid. The team had to rethink the base which they did without any drama and with no extra cost. When completed it looked superb and the electricians and plasterers did a great job. Everyone came when they said they would all coordinated by Sarah. Very courteous team. Every question I asked was answered with no trouble. You don't get guttering with the building just make sure you find somewhere for the water to go. I added a 210 ltr water barrel which does the job. You also need to find skirting board for the room. I went for plastic which looks great, easy to fit and added £80 to the cost. Also if like me I also budgeted for carpeting and door and window blinds. The room adds to our new garden and we are so pleased with it.

Using Solarframe for new windows and door has been the most stressful experience I have had in a long time. Customer service has been absolutely shocking. Repeatedly not turning up and not informing us until the day after we have taken days off work. We were told their window systems were far superior to any other window firm and couldn't need triple glazing, utter rubbish they haven't made any difference whatsoever!! They only use subcontractors to install who really couldn't care less how they fit them. Unprofessional overpriced company. Stay away!

They replaced old polycarbonate roof with a light weight roof done on time and per quotation, they talked us through all the options first they were no pressure on us sale wise we came to a joint decision. They clearly new there product well they kept us in formed every step of the process and followed every phone call and any glitches was dealt with satisfactory.

We’re very satisfied with the end result and we spend a lot of time in the conservatory, it’s a great space and it’s now part of the house that offers an extra room for us that’s much more liveable. I always used the conservatory a lot but, now that it’s been upgraded, everyone wants to be in there. ‘We were so satisfied that, when the conservatory was done, we ordered new windows and doors for the rest of the house. The house looks great, we went for anthracite grey frames that have a more modern feel and we’re really very pleased with all the work SolarFrame has done. The windows not only look great but the house is warmer and draught free so we should see a drop in heating bills in the winter months.

Converted my conservatory into a hybrid conservatory/orangery. Bricked up one wall, replaced frames and doors, installed new tiled roof. Insides plastered, new window boards, skirting, spotlights, sockets and switches. Quality of work is second to none. All the fitters, plasterers and electrician were very pleasant chaps. Always left the house tidy at the end of the day. From start to finish it has run like clockwork. Always kept updated by the office on when trades are coming etc... Very pleased with how smoothly it went and with the works done. No hesitation in recommending Solarframe at all.

We had our conservatory roof replaced and the difference it has made is incredible, now rather than a dumping ground for coats and wellies. The salesman who came to see us was great and was not at all pushy and our installations coordinator kept us informed about when we could expect the work to start. The team of lads that did the work were professional and did a great job and the workmanship is super. I would definitely recommend Solarframe to anyone.

This is a case of ‘defeat being snatched from the jaws of victory’. The sales, survey and removal and installation of a patio door and a window went really well; the fitters couldn’t have been more helpful. Within 15 mins of the fitters finishing, I had paid the outstanding bill. We had had 5 blinds in the windows and when I came to put them back in place, because the position of the new windows had changed and they had used trims to finish the work, the clips holding in the blinds wouldn’t work. I rang SolarFrame and at first the response was helpful: send photos, etc., and a couple of follow-up calls. Then it went quiet. I made around 7 calls to them and my coordinator’s phone was either engaged, she was away from her desk, she’d gone home, etc. In that latter stage, not one of my calls was returned. Even if they’d decided that they weren’t going to do anything more, a call to that effect would have stopped me wasting my time. After 10 days, I was fortunate enough to be able to take a couple of hours to refit the blinds myself. A couple of days later, I had an email from SolarFrame saying that they were still looking for a technician to do the work required. I responded that as I’d now done the work, and saved the company, money, time and effort, they should compensate me to the amount of £50. Of course, 1 week later, I’ve heard nothing back, despite sending a reminder. I’d use them again, probably, but I wouldn’t be so quick to fully settle the bill.

We had a patio door fitted and the service from the initial enquiry right through to the fitting was excellent. Communication is great and reliable, phone calls returned and info sent when promised. The installation went very well and was competed by an excellent fitter who was clearly competent and had an excellent manner and left the room cleaner than when the work started. Overall an excellent experience and great value for money

While our job had numerous big mistakes and problems along the way it did get finished and to a high standard, albeit some four weeks late. The fitters, Dave and Lee were outstanding and a pleasure to have on site. Mark, the electrician and Daz & the team of plasterers were great too as was the clean up technician. Kat did her very best trying to liaise and re-organise things on numerous occasions and Will really helped to restore our faith in the company. While the process of our job wasn’t a pleasant one, the company got things back on track and compensated us for the delay and inconvenience caused. We now have a lovely, warm and quiet conservatory and I’d definitely recommend a SupaLite tiled roof.

I have waited a long time to leave this review simply because I wanted to think before leaving a negative comment as it is not in my nature to do this. The quality of the work of SolarFrame was very good. Especially that of the workmen and engineers. The customer service was poor and the sales manager was extremely rude. The worst experience I have ever had in 30 years of dealing with customer services. Visited showroom first week in August for advice and quote. Had a visit from Rob Bly the the same day. Satisfied with price for door and windows. Did think work might be done before November but have to take Covid situation into account. Fitters Leigh and Dave we’re punctual and completed work in a day less than expected. Fitters and Bob were down to earth and easy to speak too and Kat in the office explained things clearly. Satisfied with the products and would recommend them to anyone

I am extremely pleased with the work carried out to convert my Conservatory. All product is high quality and I am totally satisfied with the work carried out by the team of workers who carried out the various tasks, bricklaying, roof installation and electrics. The work was delayed by bad weather however I was kept fully informed of the delays in the schedule. Thank you.

A big thank you to Dave & Leigh for taking our old conservatory down, taking it away & building us a fabulous new one & replacing windows to the back of our house Darren & his lads were brilliant & the plastering was done quickly & efficiently with no mess Steve the electrician, & the 2 young plumbers all did a great job they all worked well alongside each other & were all well mannered & polite. We are very happy with the work done & the price we paid A big thank you to Kat Padovan for overseeing the project & always being there to answer any queries that we had.

From the very first visit things were going wrong. I twice tried to cancel the project but was talked round. When the foundations were put in the base height was too high and had to be lowered. When the build was due to start the parts had been built wrong so I had another 4 week delay. The fact that the base had been lowered meant that the only way to cover the water membrane was to plaster the inside which is not what I ordered I wanted brickwork showing. I was not happy with the way the final technician left the conservatory and if I hadn't paid my final bill before he finished work I wouldn't of paid the bill. These are a quick list of the problems I encountered during my time with Solarframe.

From start to finish the project was excellent. From the initial contact to the completed job. Outstanding quality of roof. Really satisfied. Would highly recommend.

We had the front windows of our bungalow done and a new front door. They fitted them all in one day. We were so pleased we ordered the back windows the next day. The day of the fitting it rained all day it the two fitters never stopped. Really great job. The chaps who came to measure up for the windows were really good as well. We have had lots of compliments on how nice the door looks. Very pleased.

Solarframe were brilliant from start to finish! Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable ... and not a pushy salesperson in sight! They replaced the roof and windows on my conservatory and all doors and windows in the house. The whole process was slick and seamless with the job being completed in 5 days. Everyone I encountered was really professional and clearly cared about the job they were doing. I cannot recommend them enough and the finished product looks great!

We had a composite door fitted and the whole process from my first call to the fitters arriving and fitting the door, was a professional one. The fitters were a credit to themselves and the company. Very poite, informative and hardworking. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. A first class service throughout. I will definitely use them again.

Replacement conservatory and new SupaLite Roof was carried out from start to finish in the most professional way. From the placement of the contract I was kept informed from the initial survey to the final completion survey and Clean, the fitters and plasterers worked to a very high standard and treated my home with respect all the time they were there and completed on time. I have ended up with a new room that is now warm enough to sit in, even in the snow and cold weather that we're having at the moment, something that we haven't been able to do in our old conservatory. I would recommend Solarframe direct without hesitation.

The finished extension certainly looks OK and would represent good value for money but took a complaint before we got to a satisfactory finished product. Issues were as follows:- * We had to clean up a few times. * Builder severed the roots on the neighbours hedge. Concrete also left all over the hedge. * Lack of communication. * The door sill was removed but was badly cut. * There were 2 holes in the concrete floor. * There was a hole in the plaster work in the corner on the rear wall. * The soakaway on our driveway was blocked with concrete by the builders. * The glass on the patio door was scratched as well as some of the other glass panes. * The window nearest the party wall, the beading that holds the glass in was missing. * Cracks appeared in the plaster underneath the window. * A crack appeared in the windowsill near the patio door. * The extension developed mould. * The builders put the wall tiles back incorrectly. * The roofer missed off some of the roof edging. * Contractors smashed the old conservatory down rather than demolishing with care as promised. * Keys were left in patio door after it was fitted (we were out).

SolarFrame were professional, thorough thoughtful and communicated with us throughout the whole process. We were kept informed and updated of timings and who would be doing the work. The builders, fitters, electricians and plasterers were courteous and considerate that this was our home. There was minimal mess and the final construction is better than we could have anticipated. The finishing is superb and we have ended up with a stunning extension that has enhanced our house. Visitors are of a similar opinion and they love it! Warm, bright and cosy just what we wanted!

We initially thought we were dealing with a professional company but their response to both door restraints breaking within days of installation was shocking. The managing director did not reply to my letter of complaint, on several occasions I was told that I had damaged the restraints and would have to pay for rectification. Fortunately I had CCTV evidence which changed their mind, when the new restraints were fitted the installer found they were only secured with one screw not two. We suspect the other hole was not drilled because they had fitted the gutter before the restraints, deny access to drill the frame. We also suspect this was because the installation was rushed into two days, not the three allocated. There were other issues indicating a rushed job, maybe we are too far away, my previous local window company were much more helpful. The company never contacted me after to apologise and I believe they owe me one. I could not therefore recommend this company.

Excellent customer service. Quality of door and fitting also excellent. No pressure at all during the process of choosing the door etc. The whole experience I cannot fault. Would highly recommend Solarframe.

We had our old polycarbonate lean to roof replaced with a solid roof. What a great improvement it is. Solarframe are a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Probably the most professional company we have dealt with. Its nice to have a company who turn up and follow exactly the schedule of works. The quality of build and workmanship is second to none. Today I had two composite doors fitted by Solarframe and I cannot recommend both their service and products highly enough. I received a courtesy call yesterday to tell me when the fitters would arrive (Andy & Ben) and sure enough, they arrived this morning right on time. They worked solidly for over 3 hours, and when I came downstairs to see my beautiful new doors it was like they had never been here - no mess or disruption whatsoever. The new doors truly have transformed my house, and I have already received a number of compliments. From start to finish I have been so impressed with Solarframe’s service. They really have perfected the balance between local company giving a bespoke, personalised friendly service yet with the professionalism and security of a large company with years of experience in the industry. From start to finish everything was exactly as I could have asked for. There was only one problem which was caused by bad weather which put the start date back one day. This actually suited me better. The people I dealt with were very competent and listened to what I wanted. They offered other options without being pushy and I ended up with a better and cheaper deal. The work men who installed the windows were excellent and even did some work that they didn’t have to do. Overall I highly recommend this company, they put the customer first are very competent, efficient and friendly. The only very slight problem was with the way I was contacted about the change of start date.

Very efficient and clean and tidy during their work did everything that was set out in order and both my husband and I are very happy with our new conservatory Roof.
