I recently had solar panels installed by Solar Kinetics. Gordon and the installation team were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Communication was clear and timely, and they took the time to explain the process and answer all my questions. The installation was completed efficiently and on time. Jaine and the team have been on hand to answer my questions following the installation, to ensure I can maximise my energy savings. Excellent customer service and a truly hassle-free experience. Would highly recommend their services to anyone considering solar panels.

Solar Kinetics were contracted to install solar panels and a Tesla battery system to our property, work they duly completed by the end of June 2025. The standard of workmanship and friendly nature of the staff on our job was very good, indeed the electical work earned plaudits from another installer who fitted a car charger subsequently. Everything is working fine and I feel confident going forward. The only slight niggle we would have relates to communications with the business, they seemed to be very stretched on the admin side at the time. The Owners Manual with all related paperwork has only just appeared, some 2 months after the install. Regardless of this we would thoroughly recommend this business who provided friendly, effecient service at very good value. Thankyou Solar Kinetcis.

This company are like a breath of fresh air. From the initial consultation, which was thorough but in no way pressured, to the installation, the whole process went smoothly. The staff, many of whom are young, are professional and friendly and have a real pride in their work. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with them and they went out of their way to make the installation as hassle free as possible. The office team too are helpful, answering our many queries without issue and the paperwork and in-depth owners pack were provided with a virtual smile.

From the first phone call to Solarkinetics to completion of their fitting my solar panels this small family firm showed utter professionalism and knowledge of their business. This company know what they are doing. They offered information on the choice of equipment I could use, where it came from and quality, making the final decision on equipment simple. Having had a comprehensive and professional survey undertaken and a comprehensive quote, the company were very flexible on fitting dates, arriving and ending within the expected time zone. The cost was as the quote. The business use only a small team of people. From the owners to the scaffolders, to the fitters and electrician, one can only say how very polite, friendly and professional everyone was. The scaffolding company were thorough, quick and good-humoured with the scaffolding only erected a couple of days before the job started and came down, within 48 hours of completion. The solar panel fitters were professional, thorough in their execution of the job and thoughtful. Similarly, the electrician worked quietly and efficiently and was very good at explaining how the various equipment worked. The follow up contact has been equally friendly and helpful, answering my questions with politeness and consideration. I can honestly say that this was the smoothest and easiest work I have ever had completed on any property I have owned and have already recommended the company to friends.

We asked around the local community for a recommended solar installer and were directed to Solarkinetics, who had other satisfied customers locally. Our first contact resulted in a prompt home visit, during which we received outstanding advice and help in choosing the best system for our needs. We had initially suggested a battery system with our solar panels installation but, after clear and non-technical details about the financial and performance pros and cons, it was suggested that a better solution in our case wold be a 'diverter' which would return unused surplus generation to our tank-based hot water system. The installation, which included high-quality components and superb technology, was completed quickly, cleanly, and efficiently about two weeks later by a friendly team and the system has worked a treat from the word go. We are able to monitor the system's performance via an outstanding app. All in all, this is a highly recommended installer.

I used Solarkinetics to install PV and batteries on a house I was building in 2015. They were superb and worked with me to achieve the system that I wanted. A house I recently purchased had planning permission for additional PV and Solarkinetics were my first choice. Again, they worked with me to develop the second PV installation with battery backup and gave me options. When National Grid had concerns they found a way to address them. The installation went well - a few hiccups due to the complication of my requirements (I needed to accommodate EV charging, an air source system and all of it had to work with existing MyEnergi equipment) but Solarkinetics were very prompt in working with me to sort out these bumps in the road. I would recommend Solarkinetics to anyone adding PV to their home.

Following a few months of research to try to understand solar PV, SolarKinetics were chosen to install our very first domestic solar PV system. We wanted a supplier that was an established and experienced installer and being reasonably local was perfect. They provided a first quote/plan based on exploratory discussions and then promptly responded to provide updates as the plan crystallised. The field visit proved to be really helpful to better understand our needs, confirm our plan and led to the addition of installing a smart hot water diverter. From quote to completion, the SolarKinetics team were courteous, helpful, and the installation was completed to agreed schedule and expected standard. We have complete confidence that we can call upon SolarKinetics for additional information and help and indeed if we have a new project.

We have had a good experience in using Solarkinetics Ltd from the first point of contact, through a survey visit and then onto the quotation and the installation of our solar panels. Each member of the Team was clearly knowledgeable, was careful of our property and was thoughtful in undertaking the work. I was interested in having a battery also, but the person undertaking the survey and preparing the quote suggested that I bide my time and use my EVs as storage in the first place. This is working out well; I was grateful for the cost-saving advice.

Our initial telephone conversations with Jaine encouraged us to arrange a site meeting with Gordon who directed us through the appropriate choice of extra solar panels and storage battery suitable for our new build house. We contacted Solarkinetics Ltd after another supplier for our project went into administration. It was a very stressful time for us, and from start to finish our experience with this organisation was excellent. My initial call was picked up by Jaine who listened to our requirements, immediately put my mind at ease and booked a site visit in for the following week. Gordon carried out the site visit. He assessed our current installation, offered options for a solar battery, hybrid inverter and meter. (We already had solar panels and part of our project requirement was to replace our old inverter and meter and relocate it from the centre of our home to an outbuilding, which didn't present a problem to them.) A competitive quotation arrived a few days later. Upon giving the go ahead, we were given a project start date. We also received reminder e-mails for our installation which was great. The electricians and installation Team, headed up by Fin were a pleasure to have on site. They were polite, professional, tidy in their work, extremely competent and efficient with our installation. Carol liaised with us on the administration and accounts side of the project and once again all communications were timely and efficient. Their standard of workmanship was second to none and we have no hesitation in recommending them. It was such a refreshing experience from start to finish in this modern world. I have had a 3kw solar system on my home for 13 years and sadly have experienced failures of the SMA inverter on many occasions. Each time I have to get a specialist to install the replacement inverter which I get under warranty from SMA. The original installer will no longer support me in replacing the inverter so I had to find another company to help. I made contact with Solarkinetics when I had the latest failure. I have never used their services before but without hesitation they willing offered to help.The service I got has been first class considering the effort they had to put in to getting the replacement ,and putting up with me chasing them every day to get the inverter from SMA and installed for what can only be described as a very low value job. I only wish I had known about this company before and I would have had the original installation from them in the beginning. I can't sing their praises enough, a great company and first class support. They come to my home installed the inverter, gave me some very helpful advise on my system and left everything in tip top condition. Thank you for a great service Solarkinetics.

Having long wanted to get solar panels I was struggling to get a sensible quote, then I found Solarkinetics and everything felt right. Rather than push a fixed solution Gordon and the team listened and engaged, developing a proposal that we all felt comfortable with. The quote was surprisingly reasonable and we gave the go ahead straight away. The installation was equally professional and the whole team worked as one. We decided to use Solarkinetics for three very good reasons. They were a local family business They had very good reviews Their quote was actually the cheapest (although that alone was not the deciding factor) Their communications were excellent. We had plenty of questions which they patiently and helpfully handled. The actual installation process was seemlessly organised with scaffolding erected in the morning followed by rails in the afternoon. High winds delayed the panels until the next day but the whole operation was completed within the 2 days we’d been told to expect. The paperwork and and a couple of minor queries from us were promptly followed up and the whole system has been churning out electricity ever since. The scaffolding was removed in a timely manner and the whole place left neat and clean. The app to monitor the system is simple and effective. Totally happy to recommend this company as professional, helpful and reliable.

Solarkinetics installed a 4.45 kWp Solar Photovoltaic Microgenerator system at my home. I have 11 big panels, an inverter and a small battery. Originally I wasn't planning on having a battery but it was absolutely the right thing to do and I'm glad I agreed to their suggestion. They are a friendly family company and I felt confident in their expertise. The work went smoothly with the minimum of disruption. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

We had been considering solar panels for some time and decided to approach local companies for a quote. Solarkinetics provided us with a detailed quote based on our needs for a bungalow that runs totally on electricity so we decided to use them. There were several hiccups along the way with National grid and ultimately it meant we couldn’t have the exact system we wanted but Jaine reconfigured the system so we ended up with 18 rather than 20 panels. The installation was swift and efficient and the installers Joe and Kieron and the electrician Dan were very professional and completed the work in two days. Gordon then came and finished commissioning the system and explained how to use the App so we could check on what was happening. All in all a very positive experience and we would most definitely recommend them to others considering solar panels .

Solar Kinetics installed a 16 panel solar system with battery. From start to finish, we felt confident that we were in safe hands. No pushy sales patter. They kept us well informed throughout. The installation took just 2 days, faster than we’d expected. And everyone we dealt with by phone and in person, were very professional.

One word could easily sum up SolarKinetics and that would be ‘Brilliant’ but they deserve more From the point of first contact over the phone with Jaine & Bethany the service and courtesy told me all I needed to know - friendly and polite with no tones of a hard sell whatsoever, just good well informed advice with no pressure. Quotes and relevant information were supplied and the decision was easy to follow up the quote and order an installation. Due to SolarKinetics and their formidable reputation I had to wait almost 4 months before installation, 14 REC black panels and a 10kw SolarEdge battery on a 5.11kwh system. Scaffolding erected 48hrs previous and installation completed within 2 days with owner Gordon taking charge of the electrics etc and his 2 installers fitting the panels etc. Cannot fault the on site guys who were polite and courteous with Gordon taking time out to answer my questions etc - they all turned up in SolarKinetic work uniform and in clean, smart company vans - first impressions are lasting and these fellas and their equipment etc certainly give a very credible first impression, their work rate and quality that follows match that impression and is superb. Can’t speak highly enough of everybody at SolarKinetics and the quality of both their company and their work - wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anybody, you won’t be disappointed Now it’s time to start storing some energy and reaping the benefits thanks to SolarKinetics

Right from day one to final completion Solarkinetics Ltd have been exceptionally professional. We had a few queries prior to installation and every question was answered honestly and without unnecessary confusing technical jargon. The team that did the installation were equally professional and very clean and tidy workmen. We had an issue with the battery energy bank which required the manufacturer to inspect the system. The battery needed replacing which was done within a week. The engineer from Solaredge (battery manufacturer) said in all his 8 years in the industry, both in Australia and the UK he hadn't seen a better installation. Since installation we have received all the necessary paperwork and warranties as promised. Highly recommended.

Following a problem with our existing solar PV system, we were left high and dry by the company that originally fitted it, when they refused to investigate the problem as part of our warranty. In desperation I phone around a few other fairly local companies, in an attempt to gain some advice, and was lucky enough to stumble across Jaine at Solarkinetics. After listening to my tale of woe, Jaine was beyond helpful and offered me some very sound advice, with a point in the right direction. After having a replacement inverter sent to me by the manufacturer, Jaine organised our 'case' to be transferred from the original 'cowboy' fitters to Solarkinetics and then organised for their fitters to pop around and switch the inverters over, all whilst we were away on holiday!! And to make things even better, Jaine arranged for the cost of the repair to be claimed back from the inverter manufacturer, so we were not out of pocket at all. The whole experience could not have been more refreshing, from the usual approach a lot of companies now seem to take, especially considering that Solarkinetics hadn't fitted the original system and had no obligations to us whatsoever. I will definitely be having Solarkinetics back to carry out the next phase of our solar system install and cannot recommend them enough.

This photovoltaic system with back up battery was installed in September 2022. We are very pleased with the result, it’s all working very well. Works were completed in two days, the battery being added the following week as the scaffolding had to be removed in order to get the battery into position. The son, Finley, did all of the electrical work and we were very impressed with him, he worked on his own the majority of the time . Then the owner, Gordon, came out the following week to get the Solar Edge App to work on our phones, so that we were constantly updated on what was being generated. The original price we were given was honoured, which we think was very decent as prices are going up all the time in the current situation . Would definitely recommend this firm .
