My Solar River Inverter ceased to work. A quick google led me to a firm in North Wales. This company was working in Cheshire and offered to visit on their way back to Wales. In brief, a free evaluation and a quotation of 1200 to 1500 pounds to replace. I looked for firms nearer and found Solartech only a few miles away. An email with photos of the inverter and its location was sent over the weekend. It was quickly answered with a friendly call from 'Gaz' on the Monday. A quick chat about the problem led to a much more competitive quote . It was obviously a quick inverter swap that was required. Gaz recommended a more efficient inverter and a price not much more than a third of the original Welsh quote was agreed. A few days later the inverter was quickly and efficiently installed by Gaz. It's good to know that a local firm is competitive, does a good job on time and is realistic in its pricing of work. If further work or upgrading is required Solartech will be my choice.

Its nice to deal with a genuine company. Trouble-free installation completed on time and with minimal fuss. Full set of panels, an inverter and a battery set up completed the 5kw install. The important follow-up paperwork was very straightforward and expedited professionally by the office support staff.

Just spoke to very helpful chap at Solartech and definitely recommend their expertise. Asked a lot of questions and he was very informative and kindly allayed my concerns. Will be using this company for future projects. Thank you.

I contacted Solartech when my Nedap inverter went faulty. They quoted a very competitive price compared to the original installers. They came when they said they would and completed the work very efficiently. Great service and I highly recommend them.

Replaced inverter that had developed fault - did the checks, organised replacement, installed and set up. Was polite, helpful and punctual. Excellent service and would recommend.

I would thoroughly recommend SolarTech - they were very efficient, came out and undertook a thorough survey and provided a competitive quote. They were also able to schedule in the installation with only a 2-week lead time. The installation was completed within a day and, given the recent fine weather, we have run off solar/ battery power since! Happy days! Gaz and the whole team were from initial contact very professional. The fact that they have been operating for a long time and have significant service contracts with housing associations gives confidence that they will be around to look after our installation over its lifetime. All the staff are great. The service is quick, quotes match bills, the work is done cleanly and tidily. The engineers are friendly, and have useful information and ideas for future projects. We’re impressed, and would never look elsewhere for service we can trust and rely on.

Excellent attention to detail and successful installation. Difficult supply issues (components delayed from China), were managed well. Final commissioning and software connections could have been a little better, but overall , I’m very happy with support , particularly when dealing with the DNO on our behalf.

A very friendly and efficient operation. All work was done neatly and carefully with generation operational on the day of installation. All refuse was carefully cleared away. I would recommend this company for anyone considering solar generation. They provide an excellent capability at a cost effective price and did the work, once hardware was available, on the scheduled date.

Delighted with the installation and service from start to finish. Initial price estimate was confirmed following an on-site survey with Gareth when options were discussed. Panels were installed neatly and quickly but we unfortunately had to wait some time for the inverter and batteries due to supply chain issues beyond the control of Solartech. Once the other components were available, they too were installed neatly in my garage and tested. I am very pleased with the results and despite having an East-West orientation for my roof, as advised, I do get good energy supply throughout the day. Communication throughout has been excellent and the aftersales information pack is also first class. I would thoroughly recommend Solartech

We were very pleased with John's experience and knowledge on our first meeting, pointing out several details that other companies had failed to mention to us. The package we went for is hopefully going to suit our needs, but we were told we can have additional batteries in the future if we so wish. The professional attitude of John, Gareth and all those that were involved from Solatech Installations Ltd, and the scaffolding providers was exceptional, clean and tidy in all aspects of the work carried out, with no mess left at any time. The communication from the office in regards to paperwork and processes was first class. I would have no issue in recommending their services to others.

I wanted to have solar panels installed on my property but needed advice on the best way. John and Gareth from Solartech Installations provided me with the most practical proposal that was deigned specifically for my needs with the minimum disruption. They took great care over all the details so that - on the installation day - everything worked out as planned. I would recommend this company.

Solartech installed a roof PV system for us which all went well. Early in 2021 one of the panel optimisers failed and was remotely diagnosed as such by the manufacturer. Solartech was asked to replace the failed unit under warranty and were too busy to be able to do it for a month or so. I emailed them after a month or so to remind them the optimiser needed replacing and got no reply. They also wanted me to pay £60+vat and provide a scaffold to do the warranty replacement which was quite a surprise. After re-reading our original contract, Solartech only warrants their own installation work and NOT the labour and access costs involved in replacing the components they supply. I would advise that you be clear about what their warranty covers and be mindful that if they are busy, they may not be too interested in fixing things for you.

I appointed Solartech to install a roof mounted Solar Photovoltaic system with battery storage. The work also involved removing an old solar water heating installation and had to be carried out in phases to fit in with the replacement of the roof coverings. From initial contact to completion Solartech were efficient and pleasant to deal with. Quotations for various options were provided promptly, the work was started on the agreed dates and completed quickly and neatly. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Professional work. Easily accessible. Had solar PV system installed. No problems with workmanship. Prompt contact when required.

There were a few delays in starting the work which was entirely out of Solartech's control. For example the roof construction was unusual but they dealt with this very well. The crew were very friendly and the manager was easy to contact when needed by phone and email

When you search for a company to install something for you, these are the firms you always hope you get. We certainly were not disappointed here, Gaz and John explained everything about what solar panels can achieve and also about new products like battery storage etc... They also arrived on time and just watching them you can tell they take great pride in what they are installing.
