Very disappointed with their work, had a service on our oil boiler and was in my opinion not a thorough job. Also had a leak from the boiler which they ‘assured us was fixed’ but not fixed at all and is still very much leaking. Charge £350 for spare parts and the service, boiler wasn’t even turned back on after replacement parts fitted so not sure how we can be assured the leak was fixed. Also told it wasn’t their faulty if the leak they ‘fixed’ has now pushed through to a different place and would be classed as a new leak - which is rubbish, it’s still leaking from the same place & if we wanted them to come and look at this ‘new leak’ that would be an additional charge. Not using this company again.

The piping from the boiler to the central heating had become partially blocked. This was replaced and at the same time they discovered that the vent system was improperly installed by a previous owner. They rectified the problem.

This the second time I have used Solitaire to do the annual boiler service and all company employees were helpful and professional, from taking my booking to doing the work. The boiler is working better than ever. It was also very helpful to have an email stating roughly when the technician would arrive.

We called and within a few days the team were with us. The job was investigated and they went out of there way to find what the problem was. They will have to return as the. Issue require more work this has been arranged and they will be back this week to complete the job. Excellent service

Very reasonable quotation. Convenient timescale for work to be carried out. The work took three days for a single engineer. Each day an e-mail confirmed time of arrival. The engineer was excellent - efficient, tidy, patient with 'senior' questions. The work was carried out in a timely and professional manner. I was very impressed by the new copper pipework for the boiler.

Solitaire attended on Monday 23 Jan to service our boiler. Unfortunately this could not be completed as there was a small leak inside the boiler itself and it required a new gasket. As promised, this part was ordered & successfully fitted by Wednesday morning. Fabulous prompt service, knowledgeable engineers who are happy to answer any other concerns. Would definitely use again & in fact, quoting for other work here already 👌

Excellent work. Thorough, quick and tidy, didn't make the job more complicated than necessary. Office telephoned to say that, owing to an emergency callout, the engineer might be delayed. In the event, only around 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. Price as quoted. Scott (who was extremely courteous and helpful) gave me useful information about the boiler setting which no other engineer has mentioned in my many, many years of having boilers serviced!

If I left stars and every time these guys did me a job I would run out of them. From landlord gas safety certificates to putting in mum's tumble dryer, I’ve had many of the different staff turn off including Paul who runs the company & their work has been nothing short of on point. It’s actually a relief to have a company that can do such good work in the plumbing and gas industry without having to stress are they going to be available in six months time to do something else and then you end up with the bloke down the road doing 50% job just to get the thing done. And whatever they charge you, I’m sure they’re not the cheapest but they are no way the most expensive, and considering the service they bring to the table it is excellent value for money.

I wanted a reasonable price that would be project managed at all stages. People who had used Solitaire before had said they where very good. Dan and Harry worked with due care of my house, leaving it tidy each day. The gutting, plastering, tiling, flooring and plumbing etc was performed by this team to a very high standard. They were helpful and hard working through out. I am a very pleased customer.

We discovered a leak in our bathroom in the morning and after calling Solitaire they went out of their way to ensure that we had an engineer the same day to do remedial works. The engineer was polite and very effective and efficient and I can only praise him as well as the very accommodating office staff.

As always, from telephone call to work done, the staff at Solitaire looked after us with politeness and understanding, we have no difficulty in recommending them to anyone.

We recently had the above works carried out. The problem with our boiler proved not to be a straightforward one, however through the shared knowledge of Solitaire's engineers, everything was resolved and we were left with a fully functional boiler. We found both the on-site engineers and the office staff to be polite & courteous, with nothing being too much trouble. I will be happy to use this company again for any future works required.

I would absolutely recommend Solitaire. They worked in my home for 4 days. During that time, they were punctual, conscientious and polite. I also had a new shower bar fitted and the old one removed. I felt that they went above and beyond to work with me to do this and the result in my bathroom is beautiful. I never feel great about having men working in my house but these guys were lovely. I felt totally comfortable with them there, I didn't have any mansplaining or patronising remarks at all, they were just very affable and friendly. The price was very competitive and I have already figured out the next job I would like them to do. They left the house in a clean and tidy state, leaving me with nothing to do except enjoy my lovely warm home. Thank you so much Solitaire.

I spent a long time looking for a company that could undertake a full re-plumb of my 1930’s house. I chose Solitaire Plumbing and Heating Ltd for all the right reasons, cost (obviously), reputation and professionalism. The team arrived at the appointed time and have done everything I had hoped they would, and more. You may look elsewhere, but you probably won’t find better. The quality of their work gives me such confidence as I finish the refurb of my house.

We had our heating system renewed from a 20 year old free standing boiler to a combi boiler. The works to be carried out were given 5 days to complete. This was completed very efficiently within 4 days. We were very pleased with the standard of the work and quality and politeness of the tradesmen. Would definitely recommend them.

Solitaire plumbing and heating replaced our heating and hot water system. Their boss came out and quoted for the work on time and efficiently. We were very happy with the price quoted and felt very comfortable accepting without getting other companies in. The work was done to an excellent standard, quickly and efficiently. The guys were very hard working and incredibly pleasant and polite. They worked in a tidy fashion and could not be more helpful. I would recommend this company unreservedly to anytime, I was very impressed from start to finish.

Isolate water supply. Remove old cold water isolation valve. Supply and install flexible hose and isolation valve, altering cold water pipework to suit. Convert CWS cistern in loft to water main. Everything they quoted for was done professionally and to a high standard. Quoted price was the price I paid. Very helpful in explaining all my options including pros and cons of each.

We had a full heating system and a shower installed, a big job we were not looking forward to but had to be done! Well from start to finish Paul, Richard and Scott have done an amazing job, clearing up every day, communicating with us all the way through and actually making the process a lot easier for us to come home to, can't recommend or thank them enough, this is a company we will continue to use for the yearly servicing.

I have just my my annual boiler service done by Solitaire Heating and Plumbing. I have used this company for 6 years now and have always received excellent service from them. They call on the day to give me a time slot so I don't have to wait in all day, this is invaluable. They always arrive on time, are polite, efficient and never leave any mess and their prices are very good. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this company.

Two people from Solitaire plumbing visited yesterday to do the annual boiler service one of whom was a trainee. They arrived on time, were very thorough, wore masks and tidied up as they went. We were very pleased with their work and would recommend their services.

As you would expect the plumber turned up on time and cheerful. He got straight on the job and worked through until finished. We hardly knew he was there to be honest. When completed all the rubbish was taken away and because he had put down so many sheets no mess left in the house. So all in all good job done and well done to him.

Problem with the cold water supply to the pump. Took their time to thoroughly find the issue, which wasn't obvious. They were polite and clean and wore masks at all times. In the end they replaced a valve and fixed the problem in a timely manner.

They came out the same day and fixed the boiler, with good service and a good cost. I would highly recommend.
