Sollis Renewables are high quality local traders that would I highly recommend. I had obtained several quotes for my solar panels and wanted a system that integrates well with heat pump. Holbie provided a quote for solar panels and battery installation with some panels on my flat roof. I then approached Holbie to ask what battery works well with another heat pump and if he could just install panels and use another inverter. Holbie was very flexible and liaised with another team to understand their system requirements. I did not get this flexibility from other traders who gave me quotes for solar panel system. Due to several communication issues with the other company, I chose to go with Octopus heat pump. Holbie then liaised with Octopus team to clarify their heat pump system requirement so I can have the best battery installed. Taking into account my energy tariff and the heat pump requirements, Holbie gave me 3 solar panel system options. He also changed the panel design on my request based on others drawings so we could fit all the panels on pitched roof. The installation went ahead smoothly and Peter left the site very tidy after the installation. Holbie even came to sort CT clamp on my EV charger so it can detect solar energy and use it when required. Subsequently, Holbie was available to answer any questions and for trouble shooting. Sollis renewables are very flexible, knowledgable and professional. I am glad I chose to use their company and am very happy with whole experience.

Holbie installed 20 solar PV panels, a Fox battery + inverter, and a Myenergi EV charger at our property. From the outset Holbie was an excellent communicator. He came for a site visit, was very thorough and patient with my questions. He then came again to answer some follow up questions I had. Holbie and Peter (Holbie’s father who I believe used to run the business before Holbie took over and focused on green energy type projects) did all the installation themselves. They worked very hard and meticulously in some hot weather. We were very pleased with the results, with 12 panels on our sloped roof and 8 on our flat roof and then multiple electrical installations to connect the system to our electrical network. Since the system was fired up last week it has been generating more energy than projected in the conservative estimates Holbie provided which is great. Holbie has already been back to fine tune a few things and he does care about his customers and his installations. I have no hesitation in giving Holbie 5 stars and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him highly as an installer in & around the Tonbridge area.

Holbie recently installed a large and quite complex upgrade to our renewable energy equipment. Right from the first visit it was clear that he was totally focussed on doing a good job and giving us exactly what we wanted. We had quite specific requirements and nothing was too much trouble. Predictably, given the complex nature of the job, there were a few hiccups along the way, but I never saw Holbie scratching his head in puzzlement. He clearly knew the products inside out and always knew exactly what to do to fix the issue. We are very happy with the finished installation and very grateful to Holbie for his diligence, professionalism and customer-focussed attitude.

Am very pleased with the installation carried out by Holbie and his team. He was very patient in answering all my pre-contract queries and providing revised prices for various schemes.
