We have used South West Plumbing for many years. Having recently moved, we wanted a utility room made in the garage, new sink fitted, taps etc. SWP came in and assessed the best way of giving us what we wanted. The quote came through very quickly, and was very reasonable, considering the amount of work required. The work was completed to a very high standard, and on the day that had been arranged. The plumber taking a real pride in his work. He was polite, considerate and professional. Cleaned up after himself and took all of the waste away for recycling where possible.

We have used SW Plumbing for over 20 years, in that time installing a new Worcester Bosch boiler, a large capacity Cylinder Tank with double 3kWh thermostats powered by solar, radiators, plus annual servicing etc. Our latest has been Bosch Air Conditioning planned and installed by Andre and advise from Bill, which has been brilliant cooling our Kitchen & Conservatory over the summer, and now in heating mode over the winter saving us having to have the house central heating on all the time. Very economical to run; no cost in fact over the summer with the solar. Very pleased.

Engineer called today to service our boiler. Explained service & very kindly set room thermostats for me as unsure how to do. Was recommended to use this company by a friend. Would highly recommend.

Came round only to look at three jobs and give a quote, but was able to complete them all during the visit and inside one hour. New unit in Toilet which didn't flush. New Taps in Kitchen as old ones not able to turn off. New Adjustable Toilet Seat in old lavatory - avoided necessity to replace toilet. Jobs all done efficiently and very helpful. I have used this company twice in the past month. On both occasions they were easy to contact, responded very quickly, and appointments fixed for within a day or two. The engineers were very friendly and professional, and did an excellent job. I was particularly impressed today that the engineer was prepared to give my very old boiler every chance of survival, when most companies would condemn it and try to sell me a new one. He tracked down the problem that was stopping it from operating, and got it running again within an hour. Charges were very reasonable, and I was very relieved that I would not have to spend thousands on a new boiler.

Living in an older property, I have needed a plumber on numerous occasions. On moving home, I discovered the old gas boiler though working was not reliable. Contacted this firm having read its very good reviews in an emergency and they responded promptly. After a survey and work to improve the central heating system to maximise efficiency and get the old boiler running correctly, I decided to replace the 17 year old boiler to update it and peace of mind. Their end to end customer service is very professional and helpful including calls answered promptly and helpfully. The surveyor and engineer were very knowledgeable and answered all my queries about various options. Despite my considerable experience in dealing with domestic boilers, as a single elderly female it was very refreshing to have your views listened to and new technical issues properly explained. The installation of the new boiler was done very quickly and to a high standard. The engineer turned up on time, worked diligently and was polite and friendly as well as keeping my home neat and tidy. The overall cost was very reasonable for a top quality job. I have now contracted with South West Plumbing Services to annually service my heating system and respond to any repair needs. Given that the boiler is operating beautifully, my concern about heating reliability has gone as I know the system is in safe hands with this outstanding firm.

I have had my boiler and cooker serviced by Southwest Plumbing for 10 years now. Such a friendly company from the office staff and plumbers too. Nice to have the same plumber visit for all this time. He is a credit to the company. Nice to see him still wearing a mask in my home. He is happy to chat whilst doing the service and feel as if he's a friend after all these years. Not once have I been let down or been left with a spec of dust as he is very particular to keeping everything as clean as it was. Today was the third time I have had South West Plumbing Services in to do some work in my home. Without exception the engineers have been friendly, efficient, professional and they clean up after themselves - what more can you ask? The work completed was first rate, the attention to detail of the engineer Andrei was fantastic. His efforts to keep everywhere clean and tidy were exemplary. We are delighted with our new solar thermal installation.

We have used SWPS several times in the past and always been very pleased. We have just had them changing some bathroom items – old connections had seized up, a strange shaped bath for a shower screen. All of these difficulties were overcome. Their price is fair, they turn up when they say they will and always do a good job. I highly recommend them.

Bill Yeoman attended to do the survey. He was extremely knowledgeable and most helpful in guiding me to decide what would be my best solution. Later, he initiated a very good and comprehensive quotation for the work necessary and arranged for it to take place yesterday and the day before. Josh Powel, the installation engineer, worked quickly and efficiently keeping me informed of progress all the time. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable, a very tidy worker and was appreciative of the regular tea deliveries. He got the job done in good time and left the premises having given me all the instruction and paperwork I required. The office staff also played their important part in providing me with a good welcome every time I contacted them and with all the information I required at the time. It was a pleasure doing business with this exceptional team. I have no hesitation in recommending this highly professional and helpful firm to anyone.

Re: installation of hot water cylinder. Andrei explained everything clearly. Very efficient/professional and polite and cleared up everything before he left. I would thoroughly recommend the service.

Have used South West Plumbing before and this time they replaced a toilet pan and cistern and also an electric shower for us. The toilet replacement was not a straight forward job due to our rather Victorian plumbing connections, but they found a way! Would use SWP again without hesitation and can thoroughly recommend them to you.

Owing to our old combi-boiler breaking down, we asked South West Plumbing to carry out a survey and give us a price to install a new one. The survey was carried out by Bill, at the time and date mutually agreed. The actual installation was carried out by John and his apprentice in a timely fashion. We had originally been warned that we may not have heating and hot water on the first day, but John ensure that we did have this during a very cold period. The full installation was completed the following day as quoted. We needed a new sender unit, which was changed promptly by Josh. We found all the staff we had dealings with, to be extremely courteous, pleasant and non-intrusive.

Had a new boiler installed, by excellent engineers. Quality work by two excellent, polite and friendly engineer Tom and apprentice Alfie. Very tidy, no mess left anywhere. I give a 5* recommendation for this company .

After an engineer was called to diagnose leaks from the boiler in my Mothers loft, it was apparent that a bigger job was necessary with a new boiler install. As Mum was in hospital and no hot water or heating in her home, a surveyor was arranged for later that day. Two options were quoted for and a date was arranged for the work to be done. As with all my dealings with this company, I cannot fault them in anyway. They are always prompt, efficient and get the job done with minimum fuss. Over three day, a new combi boiler was put in and all the old equipment taken out. As I do not live locally, the team worked really hard to finish the job so I could travel back to Hertfordshire the next day. Thank you everyone for an excellent job well done.

The phoned request was confirmed by email to us, which was reassuring. The engineer, Jerry, arrived promptly and carried out all the work necessary. He was smart, cheerful, friendly and helpful. We have had several jobs completed by South West plumbing and cannot fault the high standard of their work. They attend promptly and always inform of their arrival by text. They are polite and considerate whilst working and tidy up as they finish removing the old parts. Carpets were covered over and at the end of the job everything was left clean.
