The team are lovely. They could not have been more helpful and accommodating, getting windows measured, ordered and fitted in a tight turnaround time. The windows are excellent quality, I noticed a huge difference straight away. Even though there was a minor error on the order (which didn’t really affect me at all) they took ownership of the error and it didn’t cause any delay to fitting. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again in future.

I was really pleased by the work carried out by Southside Windows. Their customer service was very helpful and they would always respond promptly to my emails and questions. They made me aware of Home Energy Scotland and my eligibility for a loan to help with the cost of installing double glazing. The men who installed the windows were polite, professional and efficient in their work. I am very happy with the look and quality of the windows which have replaced traditional timber windows. The new windows still fit the character of an old tenement flat well.

We've used Southside Windows to replace external doors and fit bay windows. We've used them more than once because we're happy with the products, workmanship and their reliability for turning up when they say they will. I also like the efficiency of booking in with them via email with dedicated office staff to organise things.

We needed replacement of fourteen windows to upgrade the builder’s original but rather poor quality wooden windows installation. I would have no hesitation in giving five stars to Southside Windows for every stage of the process through to completion of the installation and the windows themselves. The prospect of such a big job was worrisome but we needn’t have been concerned. Russell carried out the initial assessment, then measuring and estimating with calm efficiency and courtesy. From there, it was a few weeks waiting for the windows to be made and then booking installation. The team of joiners arrived as arranged and bang on time. It was then a case of ‘leaving it to the professionals’ and they did not disappoint. Of course, it is not possible to remove and install windows without dust and some mess but the men cleaned as they went, which meant that all we had to do was a light ‘Spring clean’ when the whole job was finished. If we had known about the proficiency and quality of Southside Windows, we’d have saved ourselves years of worrying whether we should or should not replace the windows and we’d have had this job done years ago.

Replaced 2 (3 window) bays and 3 large dormer windows along with a composite front door. Turned up on time every time through initial visit to the works. Work to agreed schedule and as quotation, Liked the relaxed Initial visit to measure up and price.. no sales talk or pressure..no problem accommodated final tweaks Communication up to installation always clear and quick and accommodated what worked best for us. Installation team also excellent.... good bunch of guys. On time, clean tidy job, polite and nothing an issue. Overall just what I look for no sales push and nothing made into an issue and a first class job at a good price.

Just had Southside Window Systems fit 5 windows and a back door. David, Ian, and Craig arrived on time at 8.30 as promised, nice guys, friendly. They worked till the job finished with only a 15-minute break. I was expecting a 2-day job, but they finished at about 3.00. Covered everything with dust sheets and cleared up when finished. David noticed a bubble on the back door panel (I could not see it even after he pointed it out). They have ordered a new one, which will be fitted next week. I cannot fault anything from Russell doing the quote in half an hour (as promised, half an hour, not half the night) to Nicolle taking the payment, it was fuss-free, and the windows and door look amazing. Thanks, guys. I might have to get a new front door now, windows are making it look a bit old.

From getting a quote through to finish, I could not fault Southside Windows. The workmanship of David, who fitted the window down to the installation end result, was excellent and we are delighted with the whole job. No issues whatsoever.

We initially had Russell come out to quote for four new windows. He was punctual and very friendly. No hard-selling techniques. On the day, we had David, Craig and Ian install the windows. The three guys arrived on time, all took the time to introduce themselves and have a chat. Dust sheets were placed over the flooring and furniture. After completing the job, they tidied up, removed and rubbish and gave the floors a hoover. Overall excellent service, and would happily recommend them to anyone.

Super happy with our new windows, excellent service from Southside windows. Russell advised we only needed new bedroom windows and the rest of the windows in the house were fine. No hard sell. Fitters arrived on time did a great job, worked well on an extremely hot day and tidied up afterwards. Would not hesitate to recommend Southside windows.
