From the outset, I was treated with respect and it was made quite clear that no job was too small for Southside Windows, unlike many other double glazing companies who only tackle two or more items! The office staff were pleasant and helpful and good communicators and arrangements were made quickly for someone to give me a quote within days. I was impressed by the fitter's approach to his work and his explanations of how the company would be able to fit the bathroom window successfully in spite of my anxiety about the surrounding area of my recently updated bathroom! In the course of the conversation, I found out that PVC garage doors were available which seemed the answer to my weather-beaten one which I had decided would have to be put on hold because the bathroom window had to take priority. There was no pushy sales drive when my interest was aroused regarding a garage door and I felt my instincts were right about this company so I had another quote for the door a few days later and had both window and door fitted. The fitters were punctual, professional and tidied up after the work was completed. Clear explanations were given regarding the opening and closing of window and door. I was extremely impressed by the quality of both the window and door as well as the workmanship. Throughout this process the friendly office staff were key, keeping me up-to-date, with the progress of my order so that window and door could be fitted on the same day. Excellent company. Glad I found them.

Went with Southside Windows off a recommendation from a colleague and I also could not recommend more. I got 10 windows replaced in a tenement, with 2 in slightly awkward positions. Russel came out to measure when he said he would, and was so professional and clear. Cheapest quotation I received also. Day of installation, the guys arrived on time and did a fantastic job. I hardly recognised the place, the finish was flawless. Everyone I spoke to was great and answered all my questions.

Can’t fault these guys. Competitive price, delivered on time and the windows are just great. The tradesman was the best I have dealt with. Started On time at 8 and worked non stop till 5.45 to finish the job which was a large single window and a fair sized bay. Called me to get my opinion/requirements when necessary. Was polite and professional. Clean and tidy work and left no mess. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company. In fact, don’t go anywhere else.

We are very pleased with the standard of work from the installer, Jim. Jim is a neat and tidy tradesman. Nicole and Angela in the office are very helpful and friendly. Russell who comes out to measure up and give you a quote is also very pleasant.

From the initial visit to estimate the job by Russell right through to completion this was absolutely ideal. Russell visited to estimate and provide a quote, this took half an hour max and we were more than happy to proceed. Not cheap but a very fair price. Estimated 12 weeks to fit, but got all call 9 weeks in to say all was ready to go. A week before the fitting date we got a call to say there would be a delay as they had been held up on a job elsewhere, they would be turning up a day late ….ok here we go….usual builder stuff…. Needn’t have worried, turned up a day late, but finished half a day early. Ronnie and Hughie were absolute stars, made a perfect job, inside and out of nine new windows. Just as importantly left our place spotless. Treated our home with the utmost respect. Replacing blinds, curtains, furniture and vacuuming, after the work….unasked by the way….was fantastic thank you guys. After they left you’d never know that they’d been there in the first place. If you’re looking to replace your windows…and forgot to say …the actual windows themselves are fabulous…..don’t even think about using anyone else. Thanks for everything guys. Absolute top job. Recently had new windows and doors fitted. All in one day! Excellent service, really pleased with the outcome. The four fitters where very efficient and worked as a team. When job completed everything was left clean and tidy. Highly recommend this company and would use again.

Very pleased with the work that Southside Windows did. Fitted sliding sash windows to replace our 1990s double glazing. A huge improvement. Would definitely recommend to others. Communication was good, we felt well looked after.

Guys from Southside windows were brilliant from start to finish. Even the planning of the job and booking in dates with the ladies in the office went smoothly. The work men arrived bang on time, covered all flooring and work area to keep everything tidy. Constantly tidying up as they went. Having decided to replace the old wooden windows and panoramic doors in our house I contacted a few companies. One of the companies was Southside Windows, which was recommended by neighbours who had been very pleased with their choice. After a meeting with Russell I decided to also go ahead with Southside Windows and have not been disappointed with any aspect of that decision. From the minute the men arrived their work was carried out with a pleasant attitude, respect for the property and neatness. With that said I was delighted with the finished work. I must also say that the whole experience was enhanced by my pleasant and helpful contacts with the office staff and Russell who called in to fix a minor problem the next day (10 minutes ). Southside Windows (SW) installed 10 new windows in our house replacing tired old aluminium framed windows with new units. SW offered a wide range of styles and we were able to select the style that suited our requirements. The installation team arrived exactly when scheduled and carried out the work within the 2 days originally estimated. The team were obviously very experienced and carried out the work very professionally. In addition they were polite and very respectful of our home - they laid down dust sheets throughout the house before starting and tidied up at the end of each day’s work. The work was all carried out to the original estimate. The one minor issue I had with 1 window was sorted without question. The installed windows have greatly improved the look of our house. We are delighted with them and the service offered by Southside Windows.

From providing a quotation to installation the service was great. We are really pleased with the end results and would highly recommend Southside Windows. The team(s) were really friendly, put up with our dog who is also very friendly. Everything was left very tidy and all rubbish removed from site.

A Southside team (Brian and Sam) arrived in the morning and started work immediately. They worked steadily all day to complete the job (3 windows and a front door) and even vacuumed what little mess there was on completion. They were very courteous at all times. The quality of work is superb and was exactly what we were looking for. Right from the initial visit of Russell to discuss our requirements through to completion of the work, dealing with this firm has been excellent and could not be faulted. I would have no hesitation in giving them a high commendation.

Not the first time I've used these guys and yet again found them to be reliable, do an excellent job, nice friendly and courteous fitters, and quick to carry out the work. No interior damage visible which is what you want .. the windows look like they were always there and have improved my rental property's look no end. Highly recommended.

I had sash and case windows installed and am delighted with them. The installers were such hard workers and were a pleasure to have in the house. I would thoroughly recommend Southside windows.

From start to finish this has been a simple and seamless process. It was professional, friendly and everything was fully explained. I do think they went the extra mile to ensure everything was done as we asked. The fitters were fantastic and within 4 days we had everything done (it was a big house). The house looks fantastic now.

We needed our Windows replaced and went to 4 contractors. Russell was very helpful in discussing our requirements in replacing the windows and not pushy like some others. I received the quotation the following morning with a full breakdown of the works discussed the previous night. Their cost was competitive , so we decided to secure the window replacement works with Southside Windows. Communication via email was first class. We were told that the installation would be in around 6-8 weeks once order was place. Works started 6 weeks after order was placed. The Installation period took 2/3 days. This incorporated the installation of 2 very large bay windows, 2 medium sized bay windows plus 2 kitchen & 1 bathroom window. Works were professionally done and the house was cleaned afterwards of any debris. I was very impressed with the works and you would never have known they had changed the windows. There was no requirement for any decoration works. We have noticed a huge difference in the warmth staying in the house, less noise pollution and no condensation inside of the windows. I would definitely recommend Southside Windows to my Friends & Family.

Replaced 2 (3 window) bays and 3 large dormer windows along with a composite front door. Turned up on time every time through initial visit to the works. Work to agreed schedule and as quotation, Liked the relaxed Initial visit to measure up and price.. no sales talk or pressure..no problem accommodated final tweaks Communication up to installation always clear and quick and accommodated what worked best for us. Installation team also excellent.... good bunch of guys. On time, clean tidy job, polite and nothing an issue. Overall just what I look for no sales push and nothing made into an issue and a first class job at a good price.

Supply & install I had seen Southside Windows vans around the area and I checked out their website and liked what I read. I contacted them, arranged a home visit, had dimensions taken and agreed price. They kept me fully informed, agreed installation date and turned up on time with a full team, all very professional and cheerful. On completion they presented the work and informed me that there was a manufacturing fault ( which was not noticeable to me ). They resolved this with the manufacture and replaced the part. They suggested that I retain part of final payment until fully satisfied. They left the place clean. Full communication throughout the contract and a cheery Merry Christmas from the team.
