We contacted Southside Window seeking advice and a quotation for replacing windows in our semi-detached bungalow. Rusell arrived at the agreed time and after examining the existing windows told us that, while he would be happy to prepare a quote to replace our windows in his opinion the existing windows were in perfectly satisfactory condition and unless we wanted to completely change the style of window we should not spend large sums replacing "perfectly good windows". This honesty was greatly appreciated, so honest and truthful and a company you can trust.

We had windows done in 2 rooms. Russell came out twice to ensure accurate measurement and quoting. The price quoted was exactly what we paid. The men who fitted the windows were exceptionally neat, and cleaned up after themselves to a higher than expected standard. They turned up on time early, and worked all, day for 2 days. On completion I noticed some scratches on one of the panes - this was immediately reported back to base by the fitter and a replacement pane fitted shortly after. The windows look superb. Great service all round.

We needed our Windows replaced and went to 4 contractors. Russell was very helpful in discussing our requirements in replacing the windows and not pushy like some others. I received the quotation the following morning with a full breakdown of the works discussed the previous night. Their cost was competitive , so we decided to secure the window replacement works with Southside Windows. Communication via email was first class. We were told that the installation would be in around 6-8 weeks once order was place. Works started 6 weeks after order was placed. The Installation period took 2/3 days. This incorporated the installation of 2 very large bay windows, 2 medium sized bay windows plus 2 kitchen & 1 bathroom window. Works were professionally done and the house was cleaned afterwards of any debris. I was very impressed with the works and you would never have known they had changed the windows. There was no requirement for any decoration works. We have noticed a huge difference in the warmth staying in the house, less noise pollution and no condensation inside of the windows. I would definitely recommend Southside Windows to my Friends & Family.

I have used Southside Windows previously and when I was moving to my new house, I did not get a quote from anyone else as I knew who they were and what they do. No pressure, no hours long sales pitch, top quality windows/doors and professional fitters who clean up after themselves. I had 8 windows and 2 doors installed and I could not be happier. From Russell the owner to the girls in the office and the fitters, everyone is helpful, polite, they are superfast at replying to queries and they just get the job done. Southside Windows replaced all the windows in our second-storey flat. The originals were old (1970's or earlier) and there was secondary glazing too, so this probably wasn't a very easy job. We were concerned it would be really disruptive for us and the neighbours. From the beginning there was clear and streamlined communication with everyone at this company. They were helpful and prompt to come and give a quote. They were very professional during the installation - worked hard and cleaned up behind them and the windows seem to be excellent. We are really pleased and would recommend them to anyone.

A smooth experience from beginning to end. Dates and prices were agreed to our satisfaction. Quality doors and windows were fitted, as arranged, and a tidy up completed before they left! Minor issues were quickly rectified. All staff were helpful, professional and supportive during the process.

I have just had three windows fitted by Southside Windows and am so delighted with everything. The windows are beautiful and have been finished off with care and attention to detail. The fitters were bang on time, pleasant and unobtrusive (I was working from home). They were so careful in my home, taking care by placing dust sheets everywhere and also hoovering up everything spotlessly afterwards. Southside were recommended to me by my neighbours and I would certainly recommend them to anyone. They have been informative, professional and delivered above and beyond what I had hoped for. 10/10!

I was needing new windows and doors and received a recommendation from our friends for Southside Windows to carry out work. Russell the proprietor came out and sent me a quote there was no hard sell, the price was the price end of story. The quote was received timeously and we agreed to carry out the work. All times agreed to were kept to and the windows and doors were fitted within the time frame set out. We were delighted with the product and the two fitters were terrific, arriving on time and clearing up after themselves. Overall really happy with company and would have no hesitation recommending Southside Windows to anyone.

From start to finish this has been a simple and seamless process. It was professional, friendly and everything was fully explained. I do think they went the extra mile to ensure everything was done as we asked. The fitters were fantastic and within 4 days we had everything done (it was a big house). The house looks fantastic now.

The two fitters , Ian & David, were hard-working & professional, they went to great lengths to keep mess to a minimum and did a superb job. Delighted with the results. We had 13 120 year-old sash windows installed in 3 and a half days by Southside Windows. The whole process was smooth from start to finish, from measurement to final cleanup. The windows are of excellent quality and fitted perfectly. We have no hesitation in recommending this company.

This is our second time ordering from Southside Windows. We have just had 10 windows replaced & are really happy with them, the guys (David & Ian) are pleasant, work hard & take pride in what they do, they arrived on time both days, and cleared up all the rubbish after the work was completed. We arranged to have several windows replaced and agreed the price. The installation went very well and the men were very good and careful. They also took time to demonstrate the mechanism and cleaned up after the work was completed.

Totally delighted by my new double glazing supplied and fitted by Southside window systems ltd, Russell visited my home and gave me really good advice on what type of windows i needed, he gave me a great quote and the work was carried out to a very high standard, the fitters were in and out on the time scale they gave me and they left the house totally clean and tidy, very professional job, highly recommend.

Southside Widows replaced 9 windows for us. The guys did a brilliant job. They were on time and worked hard. The job was completed on schedule in 3 days. In the bathroom and the kitchen the windows are behind the sink and difficult to access. Access from outside is also difficult. The guys worked well to find a solution and didn't leave a single scratch. They tidied up well. The house was left as if nothing had happened. We were very pleased with the work.

Required 7 new double glazed windows fitted in top floor flat. The owner of Southside Windows carried out the initial consultation and survey himself and quoted a price well within my budget. I was informed windows would be available with 4 weeks and take two days to fit. (From initial correspondence to final day of fitting eas exactly 28 days). The initial date given for fitting was inconvenient for me and Southside Windows had no problem st all in agreeing to a date the suited. Regarding the installation, the two fitters arrived promptly at 8:30 on both mornings and immediately got to work. Dust sheets, walking boards, etc were used to ensure little to no mess. As I was retaining the wooden surrounds already in place the fitting of these new windows didn't take as long as normal, finished by 2:30pm on day 1 and by 11am on day 2. I am delighted with the quality of both windows and workmanship and I would highly recommend Southside Windows.
