I chose Southside Windows after some thorough research online and reading other reviews. The idea of a quote provided without the theatrics of the more well known companies is really what sold me on the company. A quote was provided within half an hour of assessment and it was incredibly reasonable for the scale of the work. Whole house including front and back doors fitted within 2.5 days by incredibly two experienced, hard working fitters who left the place spotless and excellent communication from the office. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Went with Southside Windows off a recommendation from a colleague and I also could not recommend more. I got 10 windows replaced in a tenement, with 2 in slightly awkward positions. Russel came out to measure when he said he would, and was so professional and clear. Cheapest quotation I received also. Day of installation, the guys arrived on time and did a fantastic job. I hardly recognised the place, the finish was flawless. Everyone I spoke to was great and answered all my questions.

I had chosen Southside windows based on their other good reviews and I have to say I was very impressed with company and workmanship. I had two appointments to review the windows being replaced in my ground-floor flat. I was given full opportunity for discussion about materials, styles and prices. Items easy to communicate with the company. Quotes were honest and accurate. The date was set and the work was completed within the timescale replacing all 7 of my windows. I was very impressed how quickly the job was done. The tradesmen were very helpful, professional and pleasant and did a fantastic job with a great finish. They were also very good about protecting the rest of the flat with dust sheets etc. Would absolutely recommend this company to friends and others. Very impressed.

Excellent job done by the window fitters. The guys fitted 6 windows, left no mess and were in and out in a day and a half. The girls in the office were also very pleasant and helpful with great communication throughout. Would highly recommend.

Southside Windows installed our double-glazed units in two batches, finishing up in November 2019 and to say we're happy is an understatement. From the no-pressure appointments to measure up (thanks, Owen) to arranging a suitable date for install, to a really well-done, tidy job done, they've overperformed each time. I'm really picky and had had several other companies out before, and a couple after, Owen visited. A very no-nonsense approach, along with clear advice helped us to make our minds up quickly. They aren't the cheapest, but their product IS the best value for money I was able to find. There were no sales trucks, no last-minute discounts if we signed up on the day, just honest, logical suggestions for a couple of issues we'd come up against which actually reduced the value of the quote, but have us what we needed, rather than what we thought was best. They did the front windows this time, having replaced the rear windows last year. Again quick neat and did a good job even though they broke one of the sealed units, it was replaced the next day.

From the outset, I was treated with respect and it was made quite clear that no job was too small for Southside Windows, unlike many other double glazing companies who only tackle two or more items! The office staff were pleasant and helpful and good communicators and arrangements were made quickly for someone to give me a quote within days. I was impressed by the fitter's approach to his work and his explanations of how the company would be able to fit the bathroom window successfully in spite of my anxiety about the surrounding area of my recently updated bathroom! In the course of the conversation, I found out that PVC garage doors were available which seemed the answer to my weather-beaten one which I had decided would have to be put on hold because the bathroom window had to take priority. There was no pushy sales drive when my interest was aroused regarding a garage door and I felt my instincts were right about this company so I had another quote for the door a few days later and had both window and door fitted. The fitters were punctual, professional and tidied up after the work was completed. Clear explanations were given regarding the opening and closing of window and door. I was extremely impressed by the quality of both the window and door as well as the workmanship. Throughout this process the friendly office staff were key, keeping me up-to-date, with the progress of my order so that window and door could be fitted on the same day. Excellent company. Glad I found them.

Very good experience from start to finish. Work completed on time and to a high standard. The fitters were polite and left every room tidy.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel this company deserves the effort. Quote - it took half an hour and no sales tactics involved. It was a straight conversation about what I wanted and how much can they do it for (as it should be). Ordering - again pleasant experience. Being naturally suspicious of things that seem too good to be true' I made the journey to their showroom to see what I was potentially buying. Again no pressure to buy anything, just solid advice. The quality of their products is excellent. Second visit to take the measurements took again half an hour. Installation - everything went to plan. The fitters, Brian and Sam, knew what they were doing and were not cutting any corners. They took excellent care not to damage floors and carpets. Also they planned the work in such a way that did not turn the entire flat into a building site, so thumbs up on that. Overall customer service - excellent all round. Their back office support, Angela and Nicolle, are most helpful and respond to queries quickly. Price/quality - jaw-dropping, in a good way. They are evidence that you can build a sustainable business based on delivery of quality product and service. I’d recommend them without hesitation.

Owen quoted and measured up. Arrived at the agree time and didn’t give any hard sell. Owen arrives to fit my front door exactly on time. He spent extra time building out the frame for better finish rather than just replace the door. I could not be happier with the service or the door.

I am having a bathroom remodelled. There was an issue with the existing window. Owen measured and re-assured. The window was installed very quickly, also by Owen, matching the other windows fitted by a previous company years before. No hold up for the bathroom. No one knows what a window costs until they need one, so I'm very pleased with the honest price and the job. Clean, tidy. Looks great. Highly Recommended.

We had all the windows and the front door replaced. The work was done by 2 workmen who worked calmly and efficiently together. They planned the work to minimise disruption and worked around us being in the house. Each night they left work finished, secure and they cleaned up magnificently. They were friendly, courteous and respectful. They worked solidly through and were careful and meticulous. We are very pleased with the windows and door and will be quick to recommend them to others.
