Southside Window Systems are a specialist Windows and Door company. supplying and installing Double Glazing , UPVC Windows and UPVC Doors in and around Glasgow.
Established in 1997, we are a family run business that supplies and installs Rehau Total 70S Double Glazing UPVC Windows in Glasgow and Doors in Glasgow to trade and public. All of our Double Glazing Units are manufactured directly from the Pilkington factory.
Southside Window Systems Ltd are associate members of rehau with a 10 year guarantee available.
Our team of highly skilled fitters all have a minimum of 10 years experience in the trade and all have to be trained to Rehau's high standards with customer care and quality being the top priority.
All our products are custom manufactured on an individual basis to match your own personal requirements.

I chose Southside Windows after some thorough research online and reading other reviews. The idea of a quote provided without the theatrics of the more well known companies is really what sold me on the company. A quote was provided within half an hour of assessment and it was incredibly reasonable for the scale of the work. Whole house including front and back doors fitted within 2.5 days by incredibly two experienced, hard working fitters who left the place spotless and excellent communication from the office. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

This is the second time I’ve used Southside Windows (having recently moved to a new house) and have always had a positive experience. Everything is extremely easy from the quotation with no sales pitch, to placing the order and fitting. The fitters used are great, friendly and highly professional. Southside Windows fitted new windows to the front of our house. The process was easy and hassle-free. Windows are not cheap so we had done our homework. Southside were very good value for money. The windows were actually fitted very quickly, good given winter is starting to bite. The fitters did an excellent job and complied with our concerns about COVID by wearing masks. The job was done very professionally and care was taken in cleaning up afterwards. We are delighted with the look and quality of the windows. Our old windows were prone to condensation and mould build-up. We no longer have to worry about that and the look of the two front rooms has been lifted. I would recommend this company to anyone fitting new windows.

Just had sash windows fitted to the front and side of my house. Cannot praise the fitters enough. Ronnie, Hugh, Marc and David worked tirelessly and went the extra mile to ensure a perfect result, treated my home like it was their own, covered and protected furniture and tidied up afterwards. Even offered to wash the cups after only one, and very short, tea break. I absolutely love ❤ my new windows. Wonderful service all round from initial appointment with the owner Russell to the installation. Highly recommended and worthy of this 5 star review.

No hard sell salesman tactics, Russell was very professional and friendly and carried out an initial 5 minute measure of the windows and a quote breakdown was emailed to me afterwards - and provided the lowest quote out of 3 other companies I had approached. Other companies salesmen loitered for 40+ minutes chopping and changing their quotes. Fitters were very quick and polite, finishing 6 very large windows and replaced sills over 1.5 days. Great communication from everyone at southside windows, very positive experience for what could have been a stressful experience with such a big job being carried out.

Double glazed sash windows.
Southside Windows installed double glazed sash windows in my house and I am delighted with the result. From Russell's first visit when we discussed the types of windows to the final installation it was a very straightforward and professional experience. A competitive quote and an excellent install team who were careful, quick and very helpful. I am very impressed by the work, the windows are very high quality and a perfect replacement for the orginal wooden sash windows so the period look of my house is retained. Highly recommend if you are looking to replace your windows.

We have used Southside Window Systems for over 20 years and would not even consider going elsewhere. We recently got Russell to provide a quote for new windows, door and French doors. The survey was quick and efficient, the whole process was very smooth and professional throughout. We were kept updated by the office staff of when the products would be delivered and we arranged the fitting date convenient to myself. The finished result was immaculately done, the quality of the windows and doors is impressive, and the whole area was cleared by their tradesmen. The after service was a nice touch to ensure we were happy with the whole process. I would definitely recommend Southside Windows all the way!

We ordered 18 windows, two patio doors and a front and back, doors. We had other quotes and selected Southside because they were recommended for their quality of build and products. We wanted really good quality and through advice from Russell selected doors , colours and asked a lot of questions. We were unsure of various aspects and Russell kept us straight on every thing. Others had quoted five days to fit maybe longer ! Russell came in and said he would take no more than four days ! The two fitters called and started a day earlier than originally planned and worked solidly through from 08.30 in the morning until after 4.00. They did an incredible job and it was completed in four days. We are delighted and the difference to our house is incredible. The fitters are very professional and 'nothing was a problem' A great service and product from Southside windows and we highly recommend them !

I was needing new windows and doors and received a recommendation from our friends for Southside Windows to carry out work. Russell the proprietor came out and sent me a quote there was no hard sell, the price was the price end of story. The quote was received timeously and we agreed to carry out the work. All times agreed to were kept to and the windows and doors were fitted within the time frame set out. We were delighted with the product and the two fitters were terrific, arriving on time and clearing up after themselves. Overall really happy with company and would have no hesitation recommending Southside Windows to anyone.

Southside Widows replaced 9 windows for us. The guys did a brilliant job. They were on time and worked hard. The job was completed on schedule in 3 days. In the bathroom and the kitchen the windows are behind the sink and difficult to access. Access from outside is also difficult. The guys worked well to find a solution and didn't leave a single scratch. They tidied up well. The house was left as if nothing had happened. We were very pleased with the work.

The workmen were professional throughout the installation, also considerate and friendly. Work was completed on time with very little disruption to myself. The workmen cleaned up inside and out. I’m pleased with the end result, the windows look great. Also really helpful were the staff in the office, Jackie kept me fully updated at all times. Would happily recommend to others.

I have used Southside Windows previously and when I was moving to my new house, I did not get a quote from anyone else as I knew who they were and what they do. No pressure, no hours long sales pitch, top quality windows/doors and professional fitters who clean up after themselves. I had 8 windows and 2 doors installed and I could not be happier. From Russell the owner to the girls in the office and the fitters, everyone is helpful, polite, they are superfast at replying to queries and they just get the job done. Thinking of getting new windows and doors and contacted Southside Windows as I read all the reviews and also having been recommended by Which really appealed. Appointment made for today at 9.30. Russell arrived at 9.25am was out the door by 9.50 am. True to his word that he wouldn't be here for hours. Super impressed as, it turns out, we’re not needing new windows. Had another company out telling us we did and would cost £20,000 but if agreed on the same day, would be £16,000. We have decided to get a new front door and replace the glass on the hall window. Would have no hesitation in recommending Southside Windows if you’re thinking about it! So refreshing to have someone so honest and not trying to rip you off. Thankyou Russell.

We initially had Russell come out to quote for four new windows. He was punctual and very friendly. No hard-selling techniques. On the day, we had David, Craig and Ian install the windows. The three guys arrived on time, all took the time to introduce themselves and have a chat. Dust sheets were placed over the flooring and furniture. After completing the job, they tidied up, removed and rubbish and gave the floors a hoover. Overall excellent service, and would happily recommend them to anyone.
