After nine months of many false starts, and with our belongings in storage, we finally moved in to our new home in March. Throughout this very stressful time, James Bolitho was an absolute star. He remained unflustered throughout, returned our calls promptly, amended paperwork repeatedly, and reassured us that everything would be fine. On the day of moving, the solicitors let us down by failing to make the payment on time due to 'IT problems' (eye roll) and the estate agents wouldn't release the keys. The guys from Squab (Paul and co) had arrived ahead of time and waited for hours until completion. At no time did they complain, and when they were able to move us in they did so with good humour and care, making sure that our things were placed where we wanted them. They had a long drive back to base, but didn't rush anything despite being delayed. On opening all of the boxes (in excess of forty), which had been in storage for so long, the contents were in perfect condition and nothing had been damaged. We genuinely cannot thank Squab enough for being the only part of the moving process that was stress-free, reliable and straightforward. To all of the staff at Squab (and I think I spoke to everyone at one time or another), a massive thank you!

I decided to use Squab Removals for my own move following a very satisfactory experience of their work when they moved my ninety five year old mother from her house to a ground floor apartment. The work was carried out according to plan and the operatives were very sympathetic to my mother's natural anxiety in moving home at such a great age. My own move was completed on schedule at a reasonable price and I found all Squab's representatives to be thoroughly professional and a credit to their company. I would have no hesitation in recommending Squab in the future.

A totally professional approach with a thorough survey to establish what we wanted/needed in terms of packing, storage, delivery: A further visit to refine & confirm the details: A clear layout of costs: Over the two days of the move, a competent & pleasant crew with an experienced leader with just the right touch for the customer and with his colleagues: Among many vulnerable items only one picture glass broken - without hesitation sent for immediate repair by the company: Before retirement, I spent some years with a responsibility for various government-led contracts covering multiple national relocations - their planning and subsequent operations. As a necessary part of procurement for this work I examined for contract numerous removal companies, monitored their work, and always was present during the removals phase and at the conclusion of the contract. The removal companies had to satisfy a large number of highly demanding people and circumstances. Squab Limited is well up with the very best. Their frontline is supported by good back office and good customer communications. This Company's whole operation reflects a positive organisation with a healthy culture. I recommend them without hesitation.

The team were so helpful and did an amazing job from packing to delivery on the two day removal recently. From my initial conversation with James many months ago it was a seamless process and so professional.

Chris, Pat, Aiden and Simon were professional and thoughtful. The move did not go as smoothly as we would have liked but at all times they kept us informed and found ways to work around the issues. It all worked out well, in large part due to their efforts. We are very grateful.

One of the most stressful things in life is moving home & these guys helped in spades. Not the cheapest with the toughest T&C’s, if you are confident on your dates these are the boys to go with. Chris and Matt from Squab could not have done more to make the difficult process of moving easier. They were calm, efficient and good humoured throughout and I felt complete trust and confidence in them. The help that I received from James in making the booking and discussing the best service for me was also invaluable. I would recommend Squab unhesitatingly.

Squab provided, for two pensioners leaving a home they had occupied for some 35 years to take up residence in a new location 50 miles away, a calm and stressless experience from start to finish. A very professional team indeed for which nothing was too much trouble, having to move out a week before the new house was ready was easily resolved by them arranging temporary storage without any drama at all. The packing team arrived and set about their task with minimal interaction from ourselves and the delivery and placement of our goods into our new home was just as efficient. No change being a problem either from up to down or room to room. The crew were very polite, cheerful and professional which completed our move on time and without damage or breakages. Although not a cheap experience the quality makes the expenditure worthwhile, Squab were brilliant. What a good decision we made.

This was the second occasion of using Squab Removals, the first was in 2007. I was happy to use them again because I considered Squab to be professional, pleasant and cost effective; and I wasn't disappointed. They went the extra mile prior to the moving date; enabling me to have the date I needed but with shorter notice than I would have liked to have given them. I am very thankful that Squab responded as they did. On the day, I required Squab to pack my special glassware and china, which was done with care and attention. The team arrived on time, finished on schedule and dealt with removal challenges with good humour. Thanks!

I'm happy to say the Team at Squab made moving house a breeze. A friendly, professional team of removal men packed our belongings and loaded up our furniture over two days. The guys did everything - leaving us just to make the tea as and when needed! Moving in went equally easily. Even after 4 weeks in storage, all our belongings were immaculate. We had nothing missing and no breakages. Paul and Dan were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly recommend Squab to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy removal firm.

The two men who came to move us were tireless, efficient, experienced and friendly. Our move went without a hitch, with not a single item broken or damaged. If anyone deserves a five-star review, they do. However Squab increased the price of our move by £1000, at the last minute, blaming an error in their original quotation. This made them very expensive, but at this late stage we had little option but to pay up. They were also unable to collect their packing boxes, as they had promised to, saying we should take them to landfill! Quite apart from the waste, they were far to big for our car or bin, and so we were left with the problem of disposing of them on eBay.

We had a troublesome timetable dictated by others in which to work. Squab came up with an excellent solution which they executed to perfection. Would readily recommend Squab to anyone who is moving house.

We recently moved from Leamington to Sidmouth. We used Squab as our removal company and I cannot rate them highly enough. From great communication before the move to an excellent, friendly and efficient move by Jake and Mark. I will definitely be using them again to move the remainder of our things Highly recommend this company.

Here we were. After a perfect packing the day before by squab and a perfect load on the move day by squab. Me, my wife and my life sat in our new squab vans outside our new house keys in my hand with the solictors green lights that we owned the new house 2hours ago. We had to sit and watch a slow, unprofessional bunch of cowboys load into a dilapidated blue 30yo lorry. The poor home owner in tears as they couldnt get all her belongings on board and "sorry but can they also come back tomorrow? for the rest"! I got other quotes and they were very similar to squabs. Squab's professionalism shined out from start to finish. Moving is stressful so pick the best team possible and start the next stage in your life journey in the right way.
