Paul came several times to my elderly and infirm mother-in-laws new flat. We obtained the keys to the flat in early May. The hope was to be able to do the remedial work before she moved in, which was planned for late July. Paul met us on the first day, and investigated the bathroom and discussed options for stripping out the room and converting it to a wet room with a walk-in shower. Paul showed up ideas for walls, tiling and bathroom fittings and let us show these to the new owner, and having chosen the styles, Paul commenced the work promptly. Paul worked on his own, cleared up after himself every evening, even though there was no-one else in the flat. He also completed the work on time, exactly as scheduled. The work has been done to an excellent standard, the fittings have been beautifully fitted, the plumbing has been skillfully hidden. Paul has shown me how everything works and taken me through the instructions and warranty documentation. I am delighted with his work and highly recommend him.

We needed to make our bathroom safe due to my poor balance and some mobility issues. This entailed a total gutting of the old rroom including new drainagesystem. Paul came and during the initial quote visit he gave us some ideas and advice. We agreed to turning this upstairs bathroom into a wetroom with walk in shower. The whole floor covered with non slip flooring and splashback panels not tiles. The room has a very high ceiling (The house is in a Victorian terrace)and it was decided to lower this. The old gas heater to be replaced by a heated towel rail. A new toilet with cabinet andwashbasin over drawer storage. More storage to be provided by a tall cupboard. Both storage solutions to be floating . The work was completed in the two weeks as agreed and all old fittings and boxes etc. removed daily so mess was kept to a minimum. I was very impressed by this almost magical daily disappearance.! All small details of finishing were attended to immediately.The only problem that happened was a leak appearing at the base of the new toilet. Paul demanded a new toilet from the suppliers so he replaced this on the last day. There is now no leak and we have every confidence that all the work has been done in the best possible way with no short cuts. We now have a safe shower that is modern and beautiful and does not look like a "Mobility" room. Paul is friendly and a true professional. Nothing was too much trouble.

The warm air system was installed in 1975 when the property was built, along with many others nearby. It has performed well for 47 years, but died just as winter approached. I contacted St. John's, and Paul called to assess the problem. Fortunately he was familiar with my system, and we agreed a date the following week. He arrived on time and finished the job within an hour, just before the coldest day of the year. I would have no hesitation in recommending St. John's. Quick, efficient & friendly - just how it should be.

Paul arrived within 20 mins of my phone call and found the problem straight away. Came back the next morning to fix the job with an excellent result. I would totally recommend him to anyone. A genuine good guy!

Paul is one of the most genuine and likable tradesmen you could ever wish to meet. He refurbished three bathrooms in our house over a 5-6 week period doing everything himself or managing other contractors he works with for the pieces he couldn't do. Everything he did was done in an extremely professional manner, he did his utmost to deliver the plan we wanted, if there were problems he found solutions and if he felt there were better approaches he offered advice to give us all the options. The work he has done is to a very high standard and we are delighted with the results. We had been badly let down by another Tradesperson and Paul helped resolve the issues we had with the previous work and left us feeling we had found a real gem of a Plumber and we have already recommended him to two others. A very trustworthy, genuine individual, you will not be disappointed.

Rang Paul at St Johns Plumbing after being let down by my plumber, who had left the usual "I'll call round and have a look at the job" message but didn't appear even after I had left further text messages. Paul is the sort of tradesman you hang on to once found - answers his phone, visits the job then gives you a quote which details what he is going to do, product choice and prices and then does a truly professional job on the date and time agreed. A bonus is that he his a friendly guy who can spin a yarn and have a laugh once the serious side of the job is done. Paul arrives as a tradesman and leaves as a friend. Will use him again when the need arises and would fully recommend him to friends and family.

This is the second time I have chosen Paul to sort a plumbing problem for me and he was just as quick and efficient fixing a toilet flushing mechanism as he was installing a shower the last time. Great workmanship from a genuinely nice guy with a great sense of humour. I'll use him for any future plumbing requirements.

Paul came to my rescue when I’d been let down by plumbers who were suppose to be fitting my bathroom .. excellent work plumbing and tiling ... always arrived on time and cleaned up when he’d finished ... would highly recommend him for anything and would not hesitate ringing him if I needed any further work done ... thanks Paul your a star

I have used Paul twice in the last three months. Each time he has arrived within ten minutes of my call. The first time was for a leak in the bathroom. He did a temporary repair as he was on his way to another job. He promised to be back first thing the next morning. He arrived 9-30, did the job and was finished by 11.00 Excellent work. The second time was Tuesday of this week. I texted him about 11.00. Again response time ten minutes. He was on his way to another job, said he would be back within an hour. He was, he mended a leak on the central heating system and was finished by about 4 oclock. Absolutely excellent, professional, friendly plumber. He is the best plumber I have ever used and I have recommended him to several of my friends. Great work, Paul and thank you.

Paul installed a complete new central heating system. He arrived punctually and worked extremely hard to complete the job on time. The result was excellent - a brand new system finished to a professional high standard. Furthermore, the total cost for the work,was almost 50% below a British Gas quote. Completely satisfied
