The repair was to a leaking roof requiring re-tiling and the replacement of some timber. Stace Roofing provided a prompt and detailed assessment of the problem and were able to bring the agreed commencement date for the work forward by a week. The roofers were polite, professional, helpful and completed the work according to schedule. The quotation, invoicing and email communications were efficient.

We engaged Stace to repair a leaded valley on the roof of our 120-year old Victorian house. Two other builders/roofers had not even responded to requests. Unlike typical builders, Stace were very efficient and communicative, did what they said when they said they would. Stave replaced a flat roof on our orangery and garage addressing with some mediocre previous work. Their roofing solutions and specification were in fact the most expensive option we were quoted for but at least one of the other two were too good to be true. We decided to go for long term peace of mind. The work was done to schedule, with very friendly on site staff who kept the site tidy - skip and scaffolding removal was done ahead of promised dates. Follow through and supporting information is extremely good. I fully understand why customers reviews are important in the building sector and I admire their tenacity in trying to position themselves at the trusted end of the spectrum - but I have now completed three at their request of which this is the last!

We had two flat roofs replaced & were happy that the team just got on with it & how we were kept informed. Our only issue was that it took a while for skip removal, but Stace chased this up daily. We bought our home from a lady that had originally used Stace Roofing for a re-roof, and the roof had some slates that needed fixing. The 10 year guarantee was about to expire, however, Stace Roofing attended site and re-fixed the slates. We then had a bad experience with a loft conversion done by another contractor - Stace Roofing put right their bad workmanship. They are polite, professional and a well structured company.

My only reservations were that like any construction company, Stace Roofing would deliver on quality, organisation and keeping their promises, however, they delivered on time and any issues were resolved. A couple of things were unfinished on the first visit, but they came straight back to resolve. I would come back and have a conversation for future works.
