My boiler broke down this December and I struggled to get someone out, but luckily Steve was available. From the very start he was really responsive, professional and friendly. When he arrived he took a thorough look over the boiler and started a logical process of elimination which he talked me through. I found this reassuring as I could tell he really did have a lot of experience and was completely transparent with me at all times about potential costs etc. After replacing the two necessary parts the boiler started to work properly again. He was really fair and honest as well as being enjoyable to chat to as well, which makes a big difference to me. If I am going to have a tradesman in my house it's always appreciated when it's someone that you can have a sensible conversation with. I will not only use Steve again for any similar boiler or plumbing problems, I will also be recommending him to others very highly. Thanks Steve.

Absolutely delighted with the job. I cannot recommend Mr Gill highly enough. ******. Steve commissioned and fitted a new boiler for me in an awkward location fitting a new flue with no mess or fuss all priced as quoted. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly Steve kept me updated on progress from quote to completion. He ensured that I was happy and confident with how the timer / programmer functions work, which is simple now I know how. My new A efficiency boiler with 10 year warranty was fitted, tested, registered and working ahead of schedule and Steve left the place cleaner than it was before. One of my neighbours passed by and mentioned during the job that Mr Gill is well respected and known for the high standard of his work. I'm more than confident to recommend Steve Gill to friends and family myself. 6* Very hardworking honest and tidy plumber and heating engineer. Already asked him to do the annual maintenance next year.

What a lovely, helpful cheerful man. We have used Steve now 3 times working at 2 properties. Nothing seemed to much trouble or challenging for him. Plus a clean worker who just gets on with his job. Mug of tea helps! Also Steve always gets back to you if you phone him.

Stephen quoted promptly to replace our old CH boiler and quickly gave a date for the start of work. He arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently with very little disruption until the job was completed. He was polite and knowledgeable. He tidied up well both during and after the installation. A really good job and done to budget. I would thoroughly recommend him. I will use him to service my installation in the future.

Stephen has replaced old radiators and fitted a new lever instead of a conventional tap outside. He took time to discuss our needs regarding our heating and provided good advice about replacement radiators. We are very pleased with the work he carried out. Stephen worked efficiently, left everything clean and tidy and was reasonably priced. His initial visit was an emergency and he came promptly which we were so grateful for. He also took time to repair a leaking boiler pipe which we were unaware of when our radiators were being replaced. This was not part of the job but he was happy to help us out. We would recommend Stephen unreservedly.

Stephen is a knowledgable, honest and helpful plumber. He changed a valve on my boiler and the invoice was as agreed. I would have liked to leave a more positive review but his time management was extremely poor so if you have an urgent issue I could not recommend him.

I asked Steve to replace some taps and check for a leak under my bath. He came promptly, was quick and neat, and gave some sensible advice about the potential leak. Would definitely recommend.

New Boiler Installation

I contacted Steve as he is a Viessmann boiler (Which Best Buy September 2017) trained and listed fitter. He came around promptly to view the current arrangement and the new location as I wanted the new boiler fitted in the loft. We agreed the work to be carried and he quoted for it a week later. Steve arrived to carry out the work as arranged and worked hard to complete the installation in good time. The quality of workmanship is very good and was carried out professionally, with minimal mess and disruption. Steve took into account the additional work that I am carrying out on the heating and water system, advising on approach and even fitting extra valves to facilitate the work. The operation of the boiler and controls was fully explained to our satisfaction. We have retained Steve to carry out the annual service and I will have no hesitation recommending his services to anyone in the future.
