Rob and his team provided and fitted replacement Gutters, Down Pipes, Soffits and Facias for both my neighbour and myself. He also replaced the flat roof for my Lobby and repaired a leaky section of my roof tiles. The work was carried out efficiently to the agreed time scale and budget. There was some delay in starting work though to be fair this was due to the usual weather related problems around winter. (Various customers requiring emergency work). Also to note as was the case for Rob if they are delayed in starting work it means they are very busy because they are very good at what they do. Bearing in mind the possible complications of a leaky roof Rob did repair this before the main part of the work. Whilst the work was being carried out Rob kept both my neighbour and myself informed. At the end of the each day they tidied up and made it safe. Also I noted Rob had repaired a couple of dropped wall tiles. This was not part of the quotation and did not add to the cost. After completion a few days later during heavy rain my neighbour noted some spillage from a down pipe connection. Rob promptly returned and fixed the problem.

A quality job. Great communication regarding with regards what was happening. They worked around road closures and other building works that were going on at the same. A very satisified customer!

Called up Rob to fix another builder's botched job on our Soffits. He came out very quickly and provided a quote the next day. He was really helpful and managed to fit us in despite his busy schedule. Rob was very clear and upfront when it came to the cost of the work. He and his team turned up on time each day and kept me up to date on progress throughout the job making sure to ask me about any important decisions. The quality of work on fixing the Soffits and a new Velux window was excellent and I'd certainly use them again if I needed to. Everything you want in a roofer!

Rob and his team have been working for us during the refurbishment of a large period building, the work has included battening, felting, tiling, leadwork, fascias, guttering etc etc. The quality of their work has been very high and they have completed all phases in a timely fashion, working around other trades as necessary. They have also completed smaller renovation jobs on other properties for us and are booked in to work on a couple of new builds too. Their pricing is very fair and they are happy to give advice to make savings where possible. I would highly recommend them for any roofing project, be it large or small.

We asked Rob to investigate a section of our roof which was leaking quite badly during heavy rain. He did this very thoroughly and gave us options to either repair or replace the faulty area, providing photographs to explain what was wrong and how best to fix it. We went ahead with the full repair, and Rob promptly returned to carry this out, again providing a full and clear explanation of what had been done and showing us photos of the repairs. Overall, we are very happy with the service provided and the quality of the work, and are happy to recommend Stevenage Roofing.

Rob's team did a great job of replacing our Velux skylights with new windows that he sourced. He was very understanding when we postponed during the spring due to the lockdown and delivered on the fitting when we got back in touch. Rob was a pleasure to deal with on the day, wore a mask indoors, tidied up after himself (given it was a messy job) and got the two done in an afternoon. He was also happy to stay in touch after if we had queries. Very impressive all round.

SRS is not only the best roofing company with massive experience, knowledge and skill, they are also the best team that actually work as a real team. After completion of a project with them, it is my duty to comment on what their workmanship is about: They have transformed our house in 2 days. Our house was need of cladding and fascia replacement along with terrace felt and roofing repair. Rob, Ade and his team started working at 8 am sharp and the transformation was instant, without hesitation. Because our extension roof was not built accurately in the first place there were obstacles to fix the cladding in one go. Ade was the master to overcome these obstacles. There was extra material required and without hesitation or delaying the project these were provided. End of day 1, fascia and cladding were fitted to the surfaces like hand fits a glove. On the second day the team worked on repairing the roof tiles and mending the terrace felt which the old repair apparently was a mere patch and did not resolve the leakage problem. Rob did not give up and he solved the previous unresolved issue with determination and covered the damaged area in a way that it will not reoccur. They completed everything they said they will and never hesitated to go for the extra detail, care and material. At the end of the day the honor was ours to shake their hand.

Rob responded quickly to my request for the installation of a roof vent tile, to extract a new bathroom fan from. His quote was competitive and he was able to fit my job in much sooner than I'd expected. He and his team were polite and professional, keeping me informed throughout the job. It's great to find such a good local company who really put the customer first, I will definitely look to use Rob again for any roofing jobs.

I had 2 missing tiles on my roof and some issues with the drainpipe which had become detached. Rob quoted and viewed the roof within days of contact and carried out the work the following day. Following the recent storm Ciara the ridge tiles and some roof tiles got blown off of my property. My house is only 14 years old. Something very similar happened to my house 12 years ago. Rob was very knowledgeable and explained how this system differs from traditional mortar standards and how this would make my roof more resistant to wind. This made progress a little slower at times than was expected but this was no fault of these roofers just bad workmanship in the past. After being stung by poor builders who made a terrible job of my rear extension, I had no choice but to look for a roofer to replace what was only a three month old roof. I found Rob from Stevenage Roofing Services on this website and contacted him to visit my house and give me a quote. Rob was very helpful over the phone and arranged to see me only a couple of days later. Rob was very sympathetic to my experience with the last roofer and was shocked by the poor workmanship. He carefully ran through what was required and didn't baffle with jargon. A couple of days after, Rob responded with a quote. I was more than happy to accept as I was given a fair price and Robs relaxed manner, honesty and not being pushy put my mind at easy. The work was booked in 10 days later and Rob and his two colleagues completed a full roof strip and rebuild in only two days despite the weather. The transformation is amazing and is quite shocking as to how bad the old roof was compared to the one that Rob and his guys fitted. a real example of how it should be done! It wasn't an easy job as there were numerous 'bodges' that Rob had to correct but at every stage Rob was keen to point out what he was doing and what was required. Overall I wont hesitate Stevenage Roofing Services to anybody. You will not find more honest and conscientious tradesmen than these guys. Their standard of work, in my opinion, is second to none.

They arrived at 8am approx. We had a flat roof at the back of house that was leaking into the house. They Worked all the time to get the job done. Very afficient and friendly. Also showed us the finished result and explained exactly what the had done. Really good people and I would recommend them.

I had SRS around to diagnose the source of a suspect roof leak and quote for repair in an ensuite. They quickly isolated the problem to a faulty extraction fan. None of the other tenders had spotted this. They cordially didn't charge for the service. Their honesty saved me hundreds of pounds in spurious roof investigation. Would now consider them first if a _real_ roof problem came up.
