Stewart replaced our 6ft high single skin garden wall with a superbly built double skin wall which looks great. He also rebuilt our tatty old dwarf garden walls and re pointed yet another 6ft wall. All work was performed efficiently, tidily and accurately. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Everything fine and done with no fuss. We agreed the deal on a handshake and Stewart duly delivered speedily. Gave me a schedule and stuck to it. Job was done with no mess and little disruption. Stewart Rychlinski is experienced, assured and sensitive to customer concerns. Quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me a price and once agreed did the job as set out, I would recommend him unhesitatingly.

Stewart added height to my front garden wall, and built a new wall 1 metre behind , to create a bed and a flat lawn where there had been a slope. He gave me a written quote ( email) turned up as agreed and did the job efficiently without sliding off to another job elsewhere. Tidied up and left today. Im happy. Not easy to rate ' value' as I saw him working up the road and hired him without getting other quotes. Seemed reasonable for the amount of labor involved.

Stewart and his team repointed 2 large elevations of our detached house where wind and weather had eroded the mortar. They also replaced a couple of damaged bricks and dyed the new bricks to fit in with the look of the wall. We were really happy with the quality of the work, they cut out the old mortar diligently and re-pointed using a hand pump, leaving it to partly set before finishing every line of mortar by hand pressing with an iron in the traditional manner. The guys were a real pleasure to have around, always good humoured and friendly. They worked really hard to give us an excellent outcome, the price was really good compared to another estimate I had received.

Stewart came to build a new retaining garden wall for us. He listened to what we needed and was helpful, honest and fair. Stewart and his young labourer Harry were always cheerful and polite and their work areas were left very clean and tidy at the end of each day. It is commendable too that Stewart is taking care to pass on his extensive experience and excellent work practices to young people who work with him. We have no hesitation in asking Stewart Brickwork back to do more for us when we are ready. Also, we would confidently recommend Stewart Brickwork to others. Excellent work - very pleased indeed.

We are very pleased with our single storey extension that Stewart & his team worked on. From groundwork & footings right up to roof plate without issue despite the awful boggy heavy clay soil. Stewart replaced a window lintel for me. I was very pleased with the timescale, price and quality of work they provided. They were very clean and tidy and friendly and polite. He advised me on other jobs that I was worried about, with honesty. He introduced me to a other firms he could recommend. He took the time to explain fully what they would be doing and why. He also advised on what we didn't need doing, so we could prioritise the jobs we have to do. All my questions were answered as we went along. They were then able to replace the boarding below the roof and repair the roofline, a job I asked them to do very late on. It all went very smoothly. Many thanks. Stewart rebuilt a garden wall that had partially blown down including the addition of a strengthening brick pier and some repointing of an archway. Work was done to a great standard and as scheduled. He was also particularly patient whilst we sorted out the insurance claim. Very pleasant to deal with and kept us updated. I would definitely recommend and use again.
