Stewart rebuilt a brick arch under which the path leading into our house passes, which appered to be in danger of collapse due to the fact that much of the mortar had fallen out or deteriorated, causing the bricks to slip. He also repointed the brickwork on one of the walls supporting the arch, and replaced the top two courses of it and a concrete lintel. The work was carried out efficiently and speedily, despite bad weather, and with little disruption, and despite the fact that the job was a bit more complicated than originally expected he stayed to the original estimate. His manner, and that of his assistant, was friendly and helpful. The finished job looks great! Definitly recommended.

Stewart rebuilt a garden wall that had partially blown down including the addition of a strengthening brick pier and some repointing of an archway. Work was done to a great standard and as scheduled. He was also particularly patient whilst we sorted out the insurance claim. Very pleasant to deal with and kept us updated. I would definitely recommend and use again.

Stewart and his team repointed 2 large elevations of our detached house where wind and weather had eroded the mortar. They also replaced a couple of damaged bricks and dyed the new bricks to fit in with the look of the wall. We were really happy with the quality of the work, they cut out the old mortar diligently and re-pointed using a hand pump, leaving it to partly set before finishing every line of mortar by hand pressing with an iron in the traditional manner. The guys were a real pleasure to have around, always good humoured and friendly. They worked really hard to give us an excellent outcome, the price was really good compared to another estimate I had received.

Stewart recently completed a project for me involving retaining walls and foundations for a garden building. It's a difficult site on various levels with awkward access, and as a first-time DIY project manager I can't have been the easiest to work for. But Stewart was at all times helpful, good-humoured and constructive, and he and his team worked like Trojans to do an excellent job for a very fair price, finishing exactly on time. Can recommend.

Stewart and his team have completed two jobs for me now. The first was laying a sandstone path, some repointing and removal of an old greenhouse. The second was laying a new driveway. Everything has been delivered to such a high standard, Stewart was brilliant to work with from start to finish. On the drive, I'd had a bad experience with a different tradesperson and it all needed to be redone. Stewart was really creative in coming up with a cost effective solution. He and his team were meticulous in their groundwork preparation and the ultimate finish and I'm really blown away with how it all looks. I can't recommend Stewart highly enough. I needed an extension to my existing shed base for a new construction, not a big job but I had a tight time scale to complete, Stewart completed the work and was polite accommodating and professional! Pointing works were undertaken to the front and side of the house. Very good preparation undertaken and very happy with the final outcome. Working in-between days of typical winter weather Stewart and his team were very polite and mindful of current Covid restrictions at all times. Works left clean and tidy each day. Stewart has just finished a 3 week job for us. He fully repointed the back of our house, laid a brand new 30m2 patio and extended our garden wall. Stewart has just completed a large single story extension, to an exceptionally high standard. He was efficient,helpful,and friendly. It was refreshing to have a builder who cares about his work. He came in on budget, and advised us thorough out the build. Unlike some other tradesmen who let me down in the past. Stewart has now been offered more work.

Stewart replaced a window lintel for me. I was very pleased with the timescale, price and quality of work they provided. They were very clean and tidy and friendly and polite. He advised me on other jobs that I was worried about, with honesty. He introduced me to a other firms he could recommend. He took the time to explain fully what they would be doing and why. He also advised on what we didn't need doing, so we could prioritise the jobs we have to do. All my questions were answered as we went along. They were then able to replace the boarding below the roof and repair the roofline, a job I asked them to do very late on. It all went very smoothly. Many thanks. Stewart done an excellent job of demolishing my old double garages, adjoining retaining wall and rebuilding them. I contacted him, and he came the same day to discuss the work and what would be required. Stewart emailed me a detailed quote a few days later and then we agreed a start date. He started and competed as agreed and worked to a fixed price. There was considerable work to demolish the old garages in a confined space and keep tidy. The rebuild was undertaken in a very clean and tidy manner also. His work is accurate and customer focussed.

Stewart rebuilt our crumbling terraced patio with retaining wall and steps. His work is of the highest standard and we were extremely happy with the finished result. Stewart guided us through every stage of the build ensuring that we stayed within budget and got the finish that we wanted. Stewart added height to my front garden wall, and built a new wall 1 metre behind , to create a bed and a flat lawn where there had been a slope. He gave me a written quote ( email) turned up as agreed and did the job efficiently without sliding off to another job elsewhere. Tidied up and left today. Im happy. Not easy to rate ' value' as I saw him working up the road and hired him without getting other quotes. Seemed reasonable for the amount of labor involved.

Stewart replaced our 6ft high single skin garden wall with a superbly built double skin wall which looks great. He also rebuilt our tatty old dwarf garden walls and re pointed yet another 6ft wall. All work was performed efficiently, tidily and accurately. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

We are very pleased with our single storey extension that Stewart & his team worked on. From groundwork & footings right up to roof plate without issue despite the awful boggy heavy clay soil.
