About

Stoake is a wood burning stove shop in London, England. We stock a wide range of quality wood burners including Charnwood, Jotul, Stovax, Rais and Scan.

As well as selling stoves we also provide high quality wood stove installation services in-house. We specialise in ecodesign and Defra approved wood stoves, HETAS compliant installations, complex twin wall flue systems and boiler stoves for wood fired central heating.

We also install a range of other renewable energy technologies and can offer comprehensive renewable heat and power systems. We can take Victorian terraces entirely off-grid.

From start to finish, Stoakes were highly professional and provided an excellent service. They advised on the appropriate eco-stove, and the installation was carried out with minimum fuss. The installers rendered and painted the back of the fireplace, swept the chimney, laid down sheeting to protect all the furniture, and laid a black granite hearth once the stove was in. They left the room clean and swept and the stove looks great. All communication with the office was answered straightaway. I would highly recommend Stoakes to anyone considering putting in a woodburner.

I picked Stoake because of an earlier Which? recommendation and so want to reinforce that here. We had a Charnwood C five installed and really want to congratulate Nye and his teams for overcoming design problems (so we could safely keep an antique wooden surround) and for delivering a clean install on the agreed dates, with a reasonable lead time at the agreed price. They were clear from the outset about cost and the quality they delivered justified their price.

Top company to deal with from enquiry to installation. We are so happy with our wood-burner but it was the service and the quality of the finish we are happiest about. So rare to get this level of attention to detail and customer care these days and I have to tell you that it's worth every penny. The staff are employees not contractors and that for me makes a massive difference. Pawel, Chris, Archie and the lead, Andreas all took real care and pride in their work. Not only this but asked the right questions, give brilliant advice and were respectful at all times. Have made one recommendation already, would not hesitate to recommend again. If I could give 6 stars, I wood (get it?!).
