We can do nothing but highly praise More Than Loft Ladders who came to work on the house we have just moved into. From first survey to completion of the job they were outstanding. Arrived at 8am and were on the job until completion around 5pm. We had the loft half boarded, an increase in size of the loft hatch and a fitted ladder. Together with a corded pull switch battery light which they fitted as an extra. The fitters, Ivan and Liam, were very courteous and hard working. On completion, they tidied up and made sure everything still worked upstairs, lights etc. They explained everything thoroughly and even highlighted an issue that we had in the roof space re: lack of ventilation. Which is something we need to correct as soon as possible with a roofing company. Thank you Steve for keeping us updated from survey, quote and to completion. Very helpful person came and looked at the job and advised on my options. Job was swiftly booked in after I accepted quotation and gentleman arrived very punctually at the time arranged. He widened the loft hatch, fitted a ladder and cleared up thoroughly after doing this. He then took care to explain to me how to pull down the bladder and how to put it back up. All went very smoothly and efficiently so I do recommend this company.

Excellent service from a company that listened to our requirements and didn’t try to sell us a service, unlike other quotes that ignored our request for repairs rather than full loft ladder and loft door installation. This meant their quote was half the others and meant we kept our high-quality ladder, which was still in good order. From first contact to finished job took less than a week. The actual work was completed in the morning, arrived on time and got on with the job. We are more than pleased with the completed works.

I received several quotes for various options and accepted the quote for floor boarding, a larger loft ladder, and a ladder with a handle. 2 staff members arrived at 8 am and by 4 pm completed all the work. ‘More than loft ladders’ fitted a new hatch and ladder, boarded half of my loft and fitted a light. Honestly, they were incredible! Ivan & Liam were very hard working, paid attention to detail, were professional, friendly, and highly skilled. Knew exactly what the job entailed, including assisting with fitting D rails and finishing touches. Cleaned up after themselves. The job was carried out to a very high standard and I couldn’t fault them. Even showed me how to use the ladders safely prior to leaving. I highly recommend this company. Shelving and boarding the loft is a game-changer.

What can I say!? Wow. Steve & his partner were the tidiest & quietest workmen I’ve ever known!!! They were also a lot quicker than I expected. We had our loft hatch enlarged with dropdown ladders & they started at 8am and were done by around 11am. The pre-work communication was great with text & email reminders. I would definitely recommend them & should we require any more work doing in the loft, then we’ll be in touch again!
