I am a Trading Standards Officer by trade with 31 years experience so I'm naturally weary of engaging tradesmen, as I often hear all the horror stories. Hence why I used Which? to find Lee. November is no doubt peak season for gas engineers & I was glad that Lee was open & honest about being super busy. However, he gave me an appointment time & stuck to it. He arrived on time and was able to diagnose, explain and fix the issue there & then for a very reasonable charge. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to all.

Arrived in time, two plumbers, very tidy and assessed how work was to be carried out. Work was carried out very professionally and in a timely and tidy manner. Maybe the best plumbing work we have ever had carried out for us. Will thoroughly recommend this company and already discussing further works with them. Superb.

Lee upgraded a radiators to produce more heat and fitted TRV's to radiators with standard valves. Replaced the main circulation pump that had become noisy. Replaced both loft header tanks and repositioned them to maximise access and available loft space. Fitted service valves. Lee and his assistant performed an efficient professional and extremely neat job over two days. Also diagnosed a subsequent zone valve problem without fuss. Would use again.

Mr Lee Strong We considered three quotations from companies with good repute. And after due diligence Mr Strong had the most reliable character and knowledge on the face of things. He explained in his initial survey clearly and concisely with sound and reasonable logic in Lehman's terms ,which myself and a family member found highly sensible, logical and in a very easy to understand manner. The quotation was more than sufficiently itemised and reasonable and easy to understand in breakdown. His Energy, concentration and professionalism was excellence itself. Further he had a highly congenial , polite manner. His problem solving skills were swift, excellent and logical. His time keeping was excellent and he kept me highly well informed of his progress and diary . The work ran exactly to time as stated . I have been on building sites occasionally before in an informal capacity and the steady state ratio , efficiency and work ethic was exceptionally professional and efficient. In sum I found Mr Strong honest, trustworthy and reliable. The system installed was excellent and the materials used of the highest quality and matched the quote on site . Further he had every tool beyond imagination ! He tidied and hoovered every day. The system was tested thoroughly . Excellent tour of inspection at the end. Logically explained .aesthetically pleasing functional ,practical finished piece of art which I am certain will add extra value to the property . Delightful work By a Gent .

I would highly recommend Strong Plumbing and Heating. We employed Strong Plumbing and Heating to remove our old boiler and install a replacement in the main loft of our house. Lee provided great advice on what boiler would meet our needs and budget, which was very much appreciated. He was always more than happy to answer our questions and discuss options. The installation was seamless. The team arrived on time each day, worked very hard and took pride in ensuring that our house was left clean and tidy when they had finished. The boiler is working perfectly, the flue through the roof has been done very neatly and the copper pipework is very professionally done. We have been so impressed and will not hesitate to get in touch again with Strong Plumbing and Heating for our next plumbing project!

Lee and team completed a fully refit of all plumbing in our renovated/extended home, this spring/summer 24. This included new boiler system, hot water tank, underfloor heating system and all manner of bathroom installations. Lee was a pleasure to work with, very approachable and always keen to discuss issues/plans before pushing ahead, which we greatly appreciated. Lee's attention to detail was great; he works in a very neat manner a was always thoughtful in regards to the aesthetics of what he was fitting; whether that be bath knobs or radiators placements etc.. He made sure the job not only worked to the best of it's ability, but that it always looked great, too. The aftercare has been fabulous. Since we've moved back in; Lee has come to check heating balance and that everything's working well, since it's got colder. After so many months on site, we'll miss Lee. We also know we'll have a plumber for life.

Lee installed a new boiler for us, he is very reliable, responses quickly and does a thorough work, it's very important for me to trust the professional when it comes to anything to do with boilers - it's an area I don't know much about and Lee is very reassuring, I totally recommend his services.

I had problems with my boiler and thought I would need a brand new boiler , however Lee came and checked it and saved me a ton of money by fault finding and telling me exactly what needed to be done. Iam soon looking at new bathroom and heating system and would definitely be calling Lee to carry out the works. Highly recommended- very professional and trust worthy.

This was my first time using this business. I chose them out of several local options because Lee provided a reasonable quote for replacing my old boiler with a combi boiler, and gave lots of clear explanations and helpful advice. The work was done to the agreed schedule and budget. Lee and his colleagues were cheerful and professional. When we saw that I'd need to also get a new shower part, Lee was very helpful with sourcing it and arranging for this additional work to be fitted in very soon after the main job. I'll definitely be sticking with them for any future plumbing needs.

We have used strong’s plumbing services for our plumbing and heating for many years. We decided to get a new bathroom installed and of course we asked Lee. We explained to Lee what we wanted and Lee took over from there. The plan was to have the work done while we were away on holiday. Lee kept us updated with photos etc while we were away. We came back to a clean and tidy house and we was over the moon With the bathroom. I would recommend Lee to anyone as he is a top class plumber. 5 stars all round.

Lee fitted a new boiler etc earlier this year. His workmanship was of such a high standard that I asked him if he could recommend someone that could do a complete revamp of my en-suite. I was so pleased when he said he could do it for me. He guided me on what was required and gave me a verbal quote saying it may vary a bit depending on what was involved once work started. Lee did all of the plumbing, installing a walk in shower etc. He has access to all of the tradesmen that were needed, tiler, plasterer, electrician. flooring etc. They all were brilliant and such nice guys. The finish was really high end far better than anticipated. I would not use anybody else in the future.

I found Lee on the Which Trusted Traders site after some poor experiences with other local central heating companies, and have been delighted with all aspects of his service. Everything he did, from his original advice and quote to carrying out the job efficiently, cheerfully, on time and without mess was excellent, and I can thoroughly recommend him. He even texted me the evening before to let me know the time he would arrive, as well as after completing the job to check I was happy with the results. He and his colleague power-flushed the central heating, fixed all new thermostatic radiator valves, then Lee rewired the central heating and installed a new Hive control, so my system is now working much better. I will be asking Lee back for regular servicing of my boiler, and have already recommended him to a friend

We have been really impressed with Lee. When we asked Lee round for a quote, he really showed a lot of knowledge about our issues in the house. Our house had a lot of plumbing problems. It was a quick turn around on the quote and booked quickly. Lee was flexible as the job took longer than expected but kept us informed on everything. All new tank, piping, moving of current boiler into loft. We now have a very powerful system that works amazingly well. Lee was efficient, tidy and always on time. We even got him back to service our boiler a couple of weeks later. We would not hesitate to get Lee back for more jobs or recommend him to others.

I was recommended to Lee by a neighbor. When he came to give me a quote I was extremely impressed with his extensive knowledge, which gave me great confidence. The job was to take two days. The first day was taken up with power flushing and I was amazed at what came out of my system! Day 2 the boiler, pump, valves etc. were fitted. Lee is a fantastic worker ( loves his tea), his work is so neat and tidy. It's such a joy to have someone who takes so much pride in his work. My invoice was exactly as quoted. Lee is now going to refit my en-suite, I think that says everything.

Lee replaced our heating and water system including replacing and moving the oil tank and boiler. He delivered a complex project to the originally quoted amount without any quibbles over additional things that came up. The work was of a high standard and he was good at minimising disruption and respecting our property, which is listed. He comes highly recommended

Lee fitted a new kitchen sink and repositioned a boiler condensate pipe. His work was of a very high standard. He was professional, polite, friendly and a tidy worker. His prices were competitive. Lee refitted our shower room five years ago so we did not hesitate to use him again for this job. The shower room was beautifully done and we haven’t had any problems with it. We would certainly recommend Lee.

"Wet" underfloor heating, expertly installed, & working extremely well. Good advice beforehand & throughout. Dealt without fuss & without further charge when encountering problems with existing heating controls. Testament to the quality of work was that the company laying the floor on top were very impressed. My only slight quibble is that it was difficult getting hold of him before the work started (partly no doubt due to high demand). But overall this was obviously very good quality work & service.

We needed a gas engineer at short notice the week before Christmas to help fit our stove. This required two visits, one to stop gas and then we needed to complete the work top installation before he could come back again. This took slightly longer than we thought but Lee was amazing, super flexible and professional. Lee did what he promised which is a rare thing as I’d already been ghosted by other engineers. He was also reasonably priced and it was great to feel you were in safe hands with something so important to us. No Lee = no Christmas turkey!

Lee went completely over and above all expectations for me when my boiler was broken. We had problems with the heating over the cold snap and he fixed almost immediately for me. I couldn’t be more grateful. Will definitely be asking him to sort out a new boiler and any work needed in the future one hundred percent.

I can highly recommend Lee from Strong Plumbing and Heating. He was punctual, polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. We experienced issues with our hot water and heating for a number of weeks - the heating was permanently on, the hot water sporadic and the boiler tripped repeatedly. Two engineer visits from a rival firm failed to diagnose the issue correctly. Having replaced various parts without resolution, we were told the boiler needed to be replaced as the parts were obsolete. We called Strong Plumbing and Heating initially for a boiler quote but Lee took the time to understand the issues we had been experiencing. Within minutes, he was able to ascertain that the problem was with the electrical wiring of the valve rather than the boiler itself, and he was able to resolve the issue without the need to replace the boiler. We are so grateful to Lee at Strong Plumbing and Heating. He will be our first port of call for any future heating issues.

Lee installed a new Worcester Bosch Boiler, carried out a full chemical power flush, fitted new central heating pump and valves, installed a smart heating control plus other required devices. He provided a detailed estimate for the work and it was all completed on schedule and within budget. All the work was carried out to a very high standard. Lee is a highly knowledgeable and skilled professional, he provided sound advice on what was needed and explained everything as the work was being carried out. I have recently bought a 1950's house that did not have gas-connected and old-style storage heaters. When Lee came round he talked me through the whole process and made great recommendations on boiler and radiators sourcing all of these. He had to take up the carpets and flooring to install all the new pipework to connect radiators and install boiler. He removed old hot water tanks and disposed of them. He completed the work when I was on holiday and sent pictures to me each day to show me the progress of the job, which was very reassuring. I expected to come back to a mess but Lee had cleaned up really well and left everything very tidy. I would highly recommend him, very friendly, turned up on time, great communication and great price.
