Solar panel and battery storage purchased from Sunsave and installed by their nominated subcontractor. Sunsave were easy to communicate with and engaging throughout and the work was carried out to a high standard. The systems work as advertised and I have experienced no issues with the equipment in the short time since installation. Positive points as follows: - Price on par with other companies approached - Equipment appears to be of high quality - Equipment provided (e.g. Givenergy battery) offers interoperability with some energy suppliers (e.g Octopus) - More attractive finance options than other companies I consulted - Team were engaging throughout and as a new company have actively sought feedback Areas for improvement: - Where possible, earlier engagement from Ops team would be useful in identifying/confirming installation windows to allow easier life planning for the customer - Glitches with automatically issued or scheduled email comes created some confusion regarding installation date (quickly resolved) - The equipment was delivered the week before installation. This places a storage burden on the customer that I don't feel was properly articulated. Where possible, the norm should be that the contractor brings the equipment on the day of installation - Articulate more clearly the timeline for delivery of certificates and documentation post-install. This has implications for delivery of Government grants etc and better expectation management on this issue will reduce the requirement for follow-up queries. The points above are very minor and do not detract from a positive experience overall. I am happy with the service provided and would happily recommend Sunsave to others.

I have used Sunsave to install a 4kw solar system coupled with a 9.5 Kwh Givenergy storage battery in my home. I have got 10 solar panels, all on the south-facing roof. The experience that I had working with Sunsave is really impressive. I went through an initial planning phase with people with knowledge and willing to help get me the right system for my house and energy usage. At no point, I felt that I was pushed for a more expensive system than I required. Once we agreed on the panel numbers, battery capacity and inverter capacity I was sent the final estimation of the system cost and energy generation from the system. Once I agreed to go ahead Sunsave organised all the delivery and workmanship from scaffolding to the actual electrical installation. I had to postpone an agreed installation date for personal reasons and they were very cooperative about that. We even had a separate messaging group set up to hasten communication between the project manager for my property and myself. I was kept appraised about the progress at every step. The engineers sent to get the installation done were very professional and confident. Since we are dealing with electrical wiring of the house it is important that knowledgeable and competent engineers do the job, which in this case was certainly the case. All through the process if I had any questions I was supported by the Sunsave team. After successful installation and testing, I was handed all the paperwork including all the necessary permissions required. I did not have to worry about anything and it was the most stress-free installation ever in my house. With this level of service and dedication, I definitely recommend Sunsave to install solar panels and battery storage. I have already recommended a few friends to use their services.

From the very first video call, which discussed my needs and wants (for an accurate quote), to the design and installation the whole experience has been flawless. The Sunsave team ensured I was advised at every step, everything was fully explained, everything was arranged, scaffolding arrived on time, panels and equipment was delivered, the installation team arrived exactly when Sunsave had arranged, the installation was perfect and the follow up from the Sunsave team checking everything was ok, and paperwork was all in order was a pleasant surprise. Considering the logistics of everything it was like a military operation. I simply cannot recommend them more highly, I've never known a company as caring and efficient. Truly an eye-opening 'this is how it should be done'.
