About
I have 20 years experience in the heating industry. I now specialise in the installation of heat pumps and low temperature heating systems to achieve outstanding levels of efficiency.
I believe every customer and their home is unique. I approach every job with an open mind and tailor my recommendations as to what is best for them and their home aiming to provide the highest levels of energy efficient and comfort.
I am passionate about protecting the environment and everything I can personally do to reduce my carbon footprint. This carries through to my business and the advise I give my clients helping to both reduce carbon emissions and make energy savings.
All quotes are completely free and no obligation. Where a visit is required to provide a quote, rest assured there will be no high pressure selling and a price will not be given during the visit. A quote will be provided via email or post for consideration in your own time.

I contacted Jacob after reading the reviews on this site when our heating and hot water stopped working. He got back to me very quickly and arranged to come and fix the broken pump just a day or so later, which was ideal. He recommended a pump that was actually less expensive but had a longer guarantee than a like for like replacement. We were really happy with his work. He was friendly and polite, neat and tidy, efficient and knowledgeable. Most importantly our heating and hot water is now back up and running! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jacob and we will be contacting him again for future plumbing work.

Jacob recommended and installed a high efficiency boiler 3 years ago which has certainly achieved what he predicted in economy and reliability. His workmanship is excellent and his explanation of how things operate is second to none. He has serviced the boiler every year since but still has time for his client explaining what he is going to do. Jacob recently carried out a survey on the gas and central heating system in a property we are purchasing and produced a detailed report that highlighted deficiencies that will need addressing to improve the system but also assured us that there was nothing dangerous or needed immediate work. Overall Jacob is a very efficient worker, he has a wide range of experience and expertise in his profession and finally his costs are good value.

I called Jacob out to a broken tap at a rental property, and as always his response was immediate. He always contacts the tenants straight away to arrange a visit and to put them at ease. We have used Jacob on a regular basis for a few years now, for annual boiler maintenance, gas safety checks, general plumbing and emergencies and to fit new boilers and bathrooms. He has never let us down and always does an excellent job. I would highly recommend his services.

Jacob has been servicing our boiler for several years but it had reached retirement age. New boiler moved into the garage, new radiators and a radiator moved due to a wall being knocked down . Hive but in. I had a few last minute changes which superior plumbing did for me . Superior Plumbing fitted a new boiler for us as well as other jobs that we kept adding to the list! Jacob was punctual and polite. His workmanship was of a high standard and he was very tidy. Despite us adding a job to the list almost every time Jacob arrived he was always accommodating and flexible. This was just the most recent of many jobs over five years. Always excellent professional work from Jacob - reliable, trustworthy and a fair price. This time it was a new bathroom from scratch with some construction of walls and insulation etc. Plastering and electrical were subcontracted - also very pleased with those Jacob brought in. All in all I highly recommend Jacob for plumbing and heating, but also jobs which need a wider range of contractors.

My boiler had broken with a low pressure fault due to a radiator blowing. On arrival I explained problem , he knew exactly what the fault would be and it made sense. He serviced my boiler and replaced two broken valves . He also took care of the radiator for me. A very pleasant guy with years of experience. I am very pleased with his professionalism and reliability. I will be using his services in the future and will recommend him to anyone requiring a good gas engineer.
