Couldn’t praise the whole team highly enough. From my initial enquiry to after service, I dealt with friendly professional people. I have used lots of removal firms in the past and whilst the basic service is often the same, subtle difference make a huge impact on the day. The thing that marks Surrey Hills Removals from the rest is their truly personal service. Prior to the move I dealt with friendly people who seemed to know me and the job and not just admin staff. The quote was competitive and after an email and extensive photos, I was given on the quote same day. This was the second time I had employed a removal team in three months and I was very keen that this job would only take one day. The team were quick, quiet and courteous and worked into the early evening to make sure the job didn’t run over into two days. The job was a little complicated in that I was moving some items to other parts of house myself. If one of the team saw me struggling they were quick to help. Given that my furniture is in storage and I am dependent on Surrey Hills Removals to reinstate the items, I have no worries about yet another visit from the removal team. I would certainly recommend them.

Excellent. We moved from Surrey to Suffolk putting most things into store in Ipswich. Paul and the team did a great job and were very helpful and professional. From the original visit from Mark to closing the store door everything went like clockwork.

I have recently moved home, with Manns Removals and would highly recommend them. From the initial consultation in my home to the final box being brought in from the van, everyone I dealt with was professional, courteous and efficient. Our move was slightly complicated in that we were moving from one house into two, they had a clear plan for how they were going to manage this and all went smoothly on the day. We had two teams looking after us and they were all extremely helpful and worked well together to get the job done. I used the full packing service and everything ended up in the right place and in one piece.

During a very stressful house move Manns/Surrey Hills were the stand-out part of it. We had to postpone the date twice, and on the day still didn't know if we would be moving in or needing to store our furniture. They were unfailingly pleasant on the phone, clear about what they could or might not be able to manage, and on the day were very responsive, looking for any possible spaces to slot in redelivery at short notice if needed. In the event they were able to take our stuff overnight and redeliver the next day. Their response to our uncertainty, their flexibility and helpful attitude were greatly appreciated. The guys who did the moving, led by Andy, were polite, punctual and efficient. All-in-all an excellent service and highly recommended.

When we asked for a quote it was to move us only. However, the man who named to see us also quoted for his team to pack for us (which I thought I could handle). However, after spending £90 on boxes and bubble wrap I was nowhere near being ready and their quote for packing was so reasonable it was a no brainer to ask them to do this. Everything was superbly packed and there was no damage to anything. The members of staff all had uniforms on, where extremely polite and considerate and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I don't want to move again - but if we did, I would definitely use this company.

We had excellent service. Paul, Josh and Pete worked tirelessly packing glassware and crockery putting it with everything else in the van on Monday and unpacking it 300+ miles in the frozen north on Wednesday. Courteous and helpful beyond the call of duty, and aided only by our offers of tea, coffee and doughnuts, they were the Duracell men come to life. Many thanks for a superb service

Our goods were removed from Godalming into storage where they stayed for 8 months whilst we sought our next house. The removal process worked exactly to timetable and was completed by a small team of people all of whom worked well together, were efficient and personable. Storage was pre-arranged and simple to organise. Communications with Nick and the admin team were dealt with promptly and effectively. Scheduling our delivery from storage to the Isle of Wight was efficient and it was a particularly nice feature to find some consistency amongst the delivery team with those who had undertaken the original packaging. Those on site at the house during both the packaging and delivery were courteous, helpful, respectful and efficient. Thoroughly satisfied with the service and would fully recommend them.

We all know how frustrating and mind numbing moving house can be, we were lucky enough to choose a real gem of a removals company in Surrey Hills Removals. Initially I thought I might do the removals myself, how glad was I that I enlisted the help of others, I never would have done it on my own, I do not know what I was thinking of. We enquired fairly last minute of three removals firms, one never responded, number two wanted to take a virtual tour on which to base their quotation, I was not impressed with this as I prefer the personal touch. Anyway Surrey Hills with little notice visited, in person, and assessed the job in hand. They provided what I believe for the service provided was a very reasonable quote, and the job was awarded to them. They moved work around to accommodate us, the chaps sent to do the removals were a true delight to have around, helpful, well informed and a credit to the company. Our move was not an easy one, but made easy by the experienced team at our service. I would like to thank all concerned and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company to others. Most importantly, will we use them again? The answer is 'yes'. They do what they say they would. The team has moved us twice now and each time on schedule and on budget. All team members that we have seen were friendly, helpful and responsive. I would only comment that some original oil paintings were not wrapped and stacked with other items in a box - luckily they were not damaged, but for the future we would recommend extra care when dealing with original works of art. It is possible that the person who was dealing with those particular pictures did not like them:)) but care was still due... most pictures were wrapped well, however. Overall, we were very happy customers. Thank you.

Surrey Hills Removals moved our furniture on a tight deadline into their storage facility before Christmas 2022 and then on to our new home in January. They gave us confidence in their abilities at all stages of the move, and despite variations to the schedule the work was completed on budget. Their staff were all polite and careful with our furnishings - nothing was damaged it was a pleasure to deal with them.

Particularly we would thanks Danny the foreman. Our move was challenging as we were down sizing, so much went into store and the rest to a smaller new home. Nothing was too much trouble and what was for us a stressful time they met with good humour. After sales was brilliant. They looked through their store to find something we particularly wanted and also returned to our old house to pick up some items I had overlooked in the garden. We recently used Surry Hills removals to move us 200 miles up the country. Have used the team in the past and would recommend them to anyone. The team there are highly experienced, friendly and really go the extra mile to get the job done.

We were a little apprehensive about whether or not the slight premium in fees was going to be worth it but I can happily say we couldn't be more pleased. Moving is always going to be a stressful and tiring process but choosing the right moving company can go a long way towards reducing this and was very much the case for us with Surrey Hills Removals. Ahead of time sending a generous amount of boxes (we opted to pack things ourselves) and super organised across the two days in what felt as smooth a moving process as you could hope for. Special call out to Dave and Kevin - nothing fazed them and I appreciated the care and attention they gave every aspect of the move. We will certainly be using them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

In a less-than-ideal situation, we exchanged contracts, completed our sale & purchase and moved all on one day, two days after the Surrey Hills team of Grant, Josh and Sam, began loading. They were very hard-working, cheerful, accommodating and extremely helpful over the three days that they helped us move. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very philosophical about the prospect of unloading our contents into a container and putting them into storage at absolutely no notice. Luckily this did not need to happen. The admin team at HQ were just as helpful as the team doing the heavy lifting and we cannot recommend this company too highly.

Each of the teams did an excellent job - accurate quote, good communication/organisation, caring, professional staff, nothing too much trouble. Professional service & friendly staff.

Being very experienced (almost serialist!) home movers, we can honestly say this was one of the best experiences in, as aforementioned, our 16th house move in 40 years! From the outset, with the courteous and informative home visit, followed by the swift quotes and then the flexibility with “are we moving directly or going in to storage” situation, which went right up to the wire, and they were still able to accommodate us, up to the actual moving out into storage and then moving in a month later, everything went very smoothly. The phone calls to the office team that I made were all dealt with swiftly. The team of removal guys we had for both moves, were all very good and respected our house/s, and got the job done. I cannot recommend Surrey Hills Removals enough. Moving in the past has been a total nightmare, but these guys actually made it easy. We used their full packing and moving service, and the speed they worked at was unreal — they were so efficient it was impressive to watch. The best part was definitely the team on the day. They were just genuinely nice guys who clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They were incredibly careful and considerate with all our furniture and boxes, so we never felt worried about anything breaking. We actually felt a bit awkward just standing there and kept trying to jump in to help, but they wouldn't hear of it. They insisted we stay out of the way and "not lift a finger," which was a massive relief. It’s rare to find a team that is this professional while still being friendly and easy to have around. The customer service thereafter has been great also - they're even returning to collect the empty boxes and wrapping so we don't need to worry about getting rid. If you’re moving, do yourself a favor and book them - they handled everything perfectly and took all the stress out of the day,

We have used Surrey Hills for both domestic and office moves with different teams and they have always been friendly and professional - and quick! They know what they are doing and can be relied upon to be polite and get the job done. Moving house can be very stressful but these guys give you one less thing to worry about! Over two days a team of 2 and 3 movers helped pack and move our family home in Guildford. They were very fast and the move went extremely smoothly. I have moved many times and I can honestly say this was the easiest move so far, thanks to the moving team who put a lot of care and thought into their packing and placement of our belongings. We had a staggered two-day move, with most of our belongings needing to be stored over a weekend. Surrey Hills removals were able to accommodate this and made the move as seamless as possible, with the removal team planning and managing every stage brilliantly. They were all polite, cheerful and so hardworking. Everything was professionally packed with care and we were delighted that nothing at all was broken when we unpacked. Would highly recommend.
