Our initial impressions were very favourable; Derrick had a 'can do' attitude whereas other electricians approached gave negative responses to some of the ideas we had. There were a number of jobs we wanted doing and he carried these out in a friendly and encouraging manner. We liked him. However, whilst the other jobs were done to our satisfaction, we had an issue with the lights under the kitchen wall units; they started falshing after being on only a few minutes. After a number of telephone messages Derrick eventually rang to apologise for the delay, but said he'd be in touch to sort things out. We felt reassured. However, despite further messages and emails to him he has failed to respond - it's now 6 months since his last contact. Regretably therefore we don't feel we can recommend him.

We have found Derrick's work is always of the highest quality, and he is very considerate when working on your home. We never consider looking for anyone else now to complete our electrical work as we know we will get a top quality job completed.

Couldn’t be happier with the job done. The rewire was done whilst other work going on in the house and the other trades were also very complimentary about working with Derrick. Nice guy who goes the extra mile and I highly recommend him to get your job done.

We first have used Derrick for 4 small electrical jobs he did in 1 morning. A month later he did a full test of the entire house and replaced the old fuse box with a new RCD system. Derrick was always friendly and cheerful as well as professional so it was a pleasure dealing with him. We will now never have to look for another electrician and will definitely use him in future for any electrical work.

Derrick is a very skilled , knowledgeable and pleasant fellow ! He installed all the ceiling lights in our new home , rewired a display cabinet , installed some shelving , and fitted a very heavy oak framed mirror . He also offered useful advice on other property matters. He seems to have quite a wide variety of skills !! I would definitely recommend him and will use him again He’s normally very busy so book him well in advance , although I think he will react quickly to an emergency 10/10

Derrick has completed a full house rewire on my property. I cannot speak highly enough for this company. He brought my house into the 21st century and was able to guide a lay person through everything. Rewires are by nature very intrusive. Derrick made this process as easy as possible.

Derrick helped us with installing new sockets in our home office. He was very knowledgeable, professional and tidy. He also found a fault on our consumer unit and rectified this with no dramas whatsoever. Very pleased with the service, will definitely be using him again!

Derek fitted our hob, although it was smaller than the previous one, and also solved our cloakroom light problem efficiently with no fuss. He has helped us before and always does a great job with good humour. I can recommend his service without hesitation.
