Excellent service and transparent pricing from James. Spent time thoughtfully mapping all waste water routes into my drains then advised on where to place one-way rat gates to prevent future ingress. Returned to house on short notice when it became apparent that a rat had become stuck in the cavity walls / drainage system and laid poison to complete the job.

We had a severe moth issue and called James to help us solve it. As soon as he came to take a look, he identified that we had rats in the walls of our house, which was causing the moths to come. He quickly applied two very effective solutions to resolve the rat issue, and then shortly after also tackled the moths so that they were gone by the next day. James kept us well informed of timings and costs throughout, and it was a very smooth and effective process from our point of view. James was helpful, polite and went out of his way to make sure that our issues were fixed and that we were happy. This included coming back at a later date at short notice to help us with a last bit of aftercare. A big thanks to James for all the help. Would definitely recommend to others!

We had a blocked drain in kitchen to sewer pipe but was backing up and sewage coming out of the kitchen drain. We have had this before. Usually someone comes out blasts it with water and charges us anywhere from £100 to £400. I phoned Pest control after finding them on here in the morning and James arranged to come that afternoon. He arrived when he said he would, looked at the problem and not only cleared the blockage but explained to us how we could stop it coming back. Apparently our drain pipe had a slight rise where it wasn't supposed to which acted like a U-bend, but meant it could block easily. A regular blast of water would shift anything sitting there and should keep it clear! James spent about an hour with us, patient with explaining the situation, cleaned up afterwards and charged us £110. Very happy with the service.

I found SW19 Pest Control very helpful and courteous. Our initial contact in February was to enable us to plan for any eventual confirmation by our solar company that pest control work would be required in conjunction with work necessary by the solar engineers. After scaffolding was erected on 25 March and detailed photos were produced, our solar company confirmed that pest control would not be required for them to investigate the problems with solar panels. I would recommend using SW19 Pest Control on the basis of their advice at all times and helpful reaction to us not eventually needing to call on their services. I was very pleased with James' professionalism helping us to get rid of squirrels from our loft in conjunction with a roofing contractor. His traps were effective and after his initial assessment visit he made three further visits to set up traps and monitor progress He was straightforward to deal with, always turned up when he said he would, and good value for money. I will certainly use James again if we have another pest control problem.

I required the removal of nesting Squirrels in my loft; therefore, I consulted Which? Trusted Traders and found SW19 Pest Control which was local and had good reviews. James arrived at the agreed time, thoroughly inspected the loft and set traps. I was given a full explanation of the work done together with the likely result. The traps worked within a few hours of being set and James returned a fortnight later, as previously agreed, to remove them. Two Squirrels were caught. The work was done very efficiently and effectively within both agreed budget and schedule. Having had previous issues with Squirrels, I have used several local Pest Controllers and SW19 are far and away the best company I have used; therefore, I have no hesitation in highly recommending them

We live in an Edwardian house, and have had instances of mice coming in over the years, the latest in October 2023. Having failed to sort this out by our own efforts, we contacted James. He was clear and accurate with costs, and was able to visit within 48 hours, when he performed a very thorough inspection, inside and out, both for evidence of mice, and possible routes in they were using. He then left poison in quite a few likely spots, and gave other useful advice. After one or two brief sightings a week or so later, this seems to have done the job, with no more signs for several weeks. He has also contacted us since his intial visit to check is he needed to return. James clearly knows what he is talking about, and we were particularly impressed by his care in the use of poisons (checking if pets or children were likely to come into contact) and documenting this. We were also pleased to discover that he does work with the Dons Local Action Group.

We called on SW19 pest control to treat a large wasp nest in our loft. James communicated well via email and notified me of a change he had to make to the time of the appointment well in advance. He arrived on time, was very friendly and informative and did a fantastic job of treating the nest, very thorough, genuine and honest guy. Price quoted was price paid and very reasonable as well. Highly recommended.

James arrived quickly and at the time he had promised. Our old Victorian sewer was thoroughly blocked. After clearing it he then spent a lot of time making sure that the entire run was clear, cleaned up all the nasty deposits in the hoppers and pipes that were caked on and washed the paths etc before leaving. Very reasonable price compared to the big companies.

James quickly responded to my call about a wasp nest. He came the next day and to my great relief completely removed it quickly and cleanly. As I was worried about insecticide he applied an eco product to the wood to deter the wasps from returning. He also took the trouble to text me in that evening to make sure the wasps hadn’t returned. He is a genuinely nice guy who was keen to ensure I was happy with the job, which I certainly was. His price was very fair, especially as he had offered to do an initial site visit with no charge.

They fitted an anti rat flap into our sewer in the inspection point outside, to prevent rodents entering through the sewer pipes under the flooring. He did it on a Sunday, after being called on Friday, and the problem was completely fixed. He's a pleasant, responsive and very effective operator. The anti rodent flaps are expensive but very worthwhile.

We had squirrels that had got in where loft conversion wasn't sealed properly and started nesting and causing damage in an internal cavity with no access. I first tried calling a well-known brand, but they said they wouldn't be able to help without easy access. James not only came out but went the extra mile, eventually setting up traps externally in what proved to be a fairly difficult job. He was polite, always available within an hour or two when needed, and charged a reasonable fee for the amount of effort he had to put in. I highly recommend SW19 Pest Control and would not hesitate to use it again if needed.

Realizing I had bedbugs, I rang James Simpson. He explained on the phone the procedure and came the following day. We went through room for room so I knew what was being done. The job was very professional, efficient, and sorted the problem. I was given a price beforehand which was very reasonable. James followed up with a phone call to see all was well. I can most certainly recommend him and he is in my phone book if I have any further jobs!

James dealt with the problem very professionally and thoroughly. He took the time to actually work out how a rodent could get in the house and worked on a solution that meant it was not an ongoing problem. I would highly recommend him.

I have used several pest control companies over the years and these were head and shoulders above all of them. Rather than just treating the symptoms, James Simpson spent time searching for and rectifying the cause. Very professional and friendly service and good value for money. A large wasps' nest had appeared in the loft. The efficient James Simpson tackled it promptly and at a very reasonable cost. He even offered to come back free of charge if the first treatment proved unsuccessful. He reckoned that there could be as many as 2,000 wasps in the nest, so this was definitely a job for the professionals!

Finding your main drain overflowing in the middle of summer is not a nice experience! Found James though the Which website and he arrange to come the next day and investigate. I had to go to work but as the drain is in the front garden James said he probably didn’t need access to the house. He quickly and found the problem was roots growing into the drain and dug them out - not an easy or very pleasant task. The cost was very reasonable for the work involved.

James was recommended to me by our gardening service to deal with a fox that had become too comfortable in our garden. He was professional and responded very quickly to my messages. He told me it could take a week but in fact it took 4 days. Once the fox was trapped James was there in less than an hour to minimise any stress to the animal and removed it for release in a more suitable area. I can’t recommend him highly enough, we can safely use our garden again for the rest of the summer.

My house was infested with bluebottles, James came and done an assessment... after finding where the problem was coming from he continued to offer support and advice over the phone, we were/are so grateful... Rather than charge us for unnecessary treatment he only charged us for his time (which was very reasonable) and that didn't include all of the follow up phone calls. Thank you.

James came out at quite short notice to deal with a mice issue. He checked all the entrance points and covered them and laid traps. Haven't seen any since! Thanks James.
