Welcome to SweepSmart, an independent chimney sweeping company covering London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
As a HETAS approved member of the 'Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps' we have been professionally trained and assessed in all aspects of solid fuel. SweepSmart has passed the vigorous assessments needed to become a 'Which? trusted trader' and have achieved the rank of Master Sweep with the Guild.

The chimney sweep arrived promptly and provided the service we required. He was polite and friendly, providing information as required. The appropriate coverings were laid to protect the floors and carpets. A good job completed with photos to explain what he had done. I received a receipt and certificate promptly. I recommend this company.

The booking system worked well, although i had a to wait a while for an appt i think this often means they are a business in demand, always a good sign. They gave me lots if alerts about when they would arrive arrived when they said they would, did a very tidy job. No nonsense. Really what you should be able to expect but it is still a surprise when a business is like this. Will definitely ise for my regular chimney sweeping

Sweepsmart were excellent throughout the process. From the initial contact they were friendly and efficient, arriving when they said and doing an excellent job. The follow on service has made my solid fuel burner work just as well as when it was newly installed. Really easy to book, with great availability of timings. Communication was clear throughout and guidance on how to prepare / what to expect was really useful. An appointment was available the following day due to a cancellation. Keil phoned 30 minutes prior to the visit and arrived on time. Stove chimney was swept and checked cleanly and rapidly. We also asked Keil about sweeping our fireplace chimney which we only use occasionally. Keil took a look and said it looked fine, although he was willing to clean it if we wanted. He was cheerful and friendly and we valued his integrity.

Previous sweeps have complained about the creosote in our chimney and so we approached SweepSmart for Creaway treatment. Their sweeping was so good that no Creaway treatment was necessary, saving me money.

I have used Sweepsmart for several years now. They were recommended to me by the previous owners. I wouldn't use anyone else now. I have always found them to be very professional, fastidious, clean, friendly, approachable with questions, punctual and reliable. I also appreciate the ease of booking the chimney sweep, communication and invoicing procedure. On this visit we had our yearly sweep. Paul has swept us in the years before, today it was Tony who visited. Both have been great.
