Thank SweepSmart, for the professional and efficient service that was undertaken yesterday to inspect, advise and carry out work on my chimney. This was my first time using your company and I found Tony to be very professional in his manner, polite and knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. I also appreciated the clear report and photos given after the work was completed. I will certainly use SweepSmart again and have no hesitation to recommend them to others.

Paul came to clean our chimney today, and assess what work needed doing to install a log burner. Paul was extremely quick and proficient and very willing to give advice on not only the fireplace that was being cleaned but also another fireplace in the house, which was greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend! The price is also very reasonable

Tony and his colleague worked very hard to clear 2 chimney flues that were the possible cause of a damp problem. They explained the procedure throughout the process and kept me informed. Really easy to book, with great availability of timings. Communication was clear throughout and guidance on how to prepare / what to expect was really useful. Arranged for a service/clean of my wood burner. Chimney sweep service for my wood burning stove. They managed to book me in fairly quickly. Very convenient service, they send instructions on how to prepare, what to expect and a reminder of the appointment. You can even track how far away your chimney sweep is prior to your slot. Payment took about 2 secs online. Adam worked very quickly and efficiently and gave us loads of advice on our stove which has been overheating. I’ll surely be using them next year and would recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a reliable and affordable service.

The booking system worked well, although i had a to wait a while for an appt i think this often means they are a business in demand, always a good sign. They gave me lots if alerts about when they would arrive arrived when they said they would, did a very tidy job. No nonsense. Really what you should be able to expect but it is still a surprise when a business is like this. Will definitely ise for my regular chimney sweeping

Paul arrived on time and swept our chimney which had not been cleaned for some ten years previously. He explained the process to be undertaken which he then carried out professionally and with the minimum of fuss and disruption. He hoovered up a small amount of debris and left the house clean and tidy after first recommending we purchase a new CO2 monitor/alarm. We were both impressed and pleased with the level of service provided.

I have used SweepSmart for a number of years. They installed our wood burner about 8 years ago and have serviced and maintained it ever since. The chimney sweeps have all been really efficient and friendly. The booking in process is really easy. Initially they send you a two hour window and then an exact time of arrival on the day. Their annual reminder service is really also very helpful! Would highly recommend Sweepsmart to anyone!

My first (but not last) time using Sweepsmart. Really impressed. More than happy to recommend them. Good website (clear information). Really quick to respond to my email enquiries (thank you to Faith) and to book a convenient date and time for the sweep/cctv service. It was helpful to be given a 2 hour slot and, on the day, to the be able to track arrival. Tony arrived on time, was friendly and courteous and carried out the sweep service/cctv inspection quietly and efficiently. Dealt with a couple of minor issues and gave helpful advice. Payment straightforward and certificate emailed straightaway. All sorted.

On the day of the sweep Adam arrived at the time indicated on the text message and the whole process was both efficient & thorough. He left the place clean and was also polite. Good experience. Was easy to book appointment arrived exactly when booked, did work, was helpful with advice. Provided email certificates which is far more helpful for retaining than paper copies. Will be using again.

My tenants had a problem with flies coming out of the fireplaces, and we suspected a dead bird as the cause. From initial contact through to the chimneys being inspected and swept it took two weeks, which I consider more than acceptable. Everything on SweepSmart's side was done correctly: You receive automated sms and email messages to confirm they have received the enquiry left on their website. The follow-up via email was within two days, and they were able to communicate with both me and my tenants clearly. The chimneys were swept as agreed, and, indeed, a dead bird was found. I had very detailed feedback from my tenants, and they were very pleased with the way the work was carried out, and the result: clean chimneys and fireplaces. In addition, we had prepared a long list of follow-up questions, such as how to prevent this happening again, and the chimney sweep took the time to answer these to our satisfaction. The result of this was that the chimneys should be capped, and I have requested a quote from SmartSweep for this work too. I really could not be happier with the service, and the price seemed reasonable to me. I am giving top marks in all categories.

Our chimney is very high (tall ceilings in a converted old townhouse) but as usual not an issue. This company is brilliant, clean and efficient and gets the job done with no mess. Their sweep turned up within the first twenty minutes of their two hour window and he was clean, helpful and efficient. The service is noisy but no soot or dust has escaped into the room. It was raining this morning and I was pleased to see the sweep used clean dust sheets to ensure the floor stayed clean and dry. I was offered a choice of paying there and then, which I elected to do. The chimney sweep certificate was then sent through promptly straight after the appointment. Very efficient and a pleasure to deal with.

They've just swept the chimney, having arrived on time following a text to say on their way (always helpful) All very professional, both the actual sweeping and the checks they carried out, and no mess! They were also pleasant and happy to explain the details of what they were doing. I now have a certificate to prove the job's been done, together with details of some minor work that might need doing, though nothing urgent! I've been with SweepSmart for a few years now and I have never been disappointed with their service. The team is very professional starting from the receptionist who makes sure all is running smoothly. Adam who came over today was very professional. He prepared his work place carefully making sure all our belonging are treated with care. He explained everything to me. And I was able to see before and after pic of his work which is something new Adam left the place very tidy. I also have been emailed the certificate.

We recently moved into a victorian flat, of which the fireplace was boarded up. We booked an appointment with SweepSmart to investigate how viable it'd be to open up the fireplace for use. We had Tony from Sweepsmart in today. He swept our chimney and installed chimney caps. Incredibly professional, super quick and diligent, polite and, to top it off, cleaned up everything afterwards. This is the third occasion we have used Sweepsmart. Adam arrived promptly, having given us advance notice by email and text. He took care to protect the floors and worked very tidily. It's definitely not the old fashioned service I remember from my youth when every surface ended up covered in soot! The process means the room is protected from the soot, and our woodburning stove was left spotless. Adam showed me pictures of the flue and chimney liner so I could see its overall condition. He was happy to recommend the chimney be swept every two years, given its current usage and condition. I am very happy with the service given by Adam and Sweepsmart, and I am sure I will be asking them back for a fourth visit in two years' time.

Adam visited us this morning to sweep our chimney for our multi-fuel stove. I’d had a referral to SweepSmart from another sweep who wasnt able to do a camera survey for me. No higher value for me than that. After making the appointment I was notified of an approximate window for the job on the day and then a more detailed arrival time on the actual day. I found this level of customer focus a big positive as I was able to manage my time around this. Every attention was made to keeping my floors and carpets clean whilst working on the job. The actual sweep proved difficult because the flew was not standard but the guys were extremely thorough in trying to understand this and to give me the best possible view of the issue I had. Tony who conducted the job was very professional and even gave me a follow up call the next day to explain that he had completed some further research on my issue and to explain options available to me. Above and beyond. An excellent service I would not hesitate to use again or refer on.

Fast clean and efficient. Careful in ensuring no soot enters the room and swept a very tall chimney. A lot of soot but cleaned efficiently and left spotless. Smoke tested and working well. Good advice on Carbon monoxide alarm, where to place and how it responds.

My chimney needed a clean and safety check as it hadn't been used for many years. It also needed a bird guard to stop nesting and birds coming down it and getting trapped. I commissioned a Chimney Inspection report as I am hoping to have a wood burning stove installed. Tony arrived on time, took care not to create any mess and worked professionally throughout. What I really appreciated was that when he found problems in the flue he took the time to communicate with me and actually show me on the video screen what was going on up the chimney, and discussed what the possible remedies would be. It was a pleasure to deal with someone intelligent who clearly took care in his work and that I felt I could trust. Neighbours had warned us that we would have to expect a long wait for an appointment but everything worked smoothly from the discussions with the office right through to payment. There was a problem with one chimney which Tony explained very clearly and we now know what we need to do to solve it. One chimney was very straightforward. We had scheduled a chimney sweep for 5 fireplaces in our house - 1 functioning and 4 non-functioning. When Adam arrived he was really fast, polite & tidy with sweeping the functioning fireplace. He then took a look at the other 4 and let me know that there was no soot so no need to sweep them. It was tremendously kind & professional and saved us a lot of money. He also recommended what we should be doing to solve a smoke smell that was coming from the functioning fireplace. On the whole, he was punctual, thorough and incredibly kind & honest. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Swept flue for wood burning stove. Efficient booking service, text reminders and alert when operative on the way. Paul and his assistant were polite, efficient, and careful with the carpets, etc. Everything was very clean when they finished. The certificate includes photos of e.g. chimney stack, smoke test, etc. In addition, Paul checked the carbon monoxide alarm and gave advice on where it should be situated (which I didn't know) and also left a thermostat which helps you to monitor the optimum rate at which to keep the fire burning. Very reasonable price. Excellent service.

This is the first time I have used SweepSmart but it certainly won't be the last time. I received a text stating what time my sweep was due. Tony turned up on time and was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I asked him if he knew how much it would cost to install a multi fuel burner. He gave me a rough idea and also explained what may be needed. When Tony left there was no mess whatsoever. Friendly customer service who even managed to switch my appointment for an earlier date when I had to rearrange, live tracking to see arrival time on the day, and a very thorough and informative service by Paul, who spent extra time to double check everything was safe. Had our chimney swept this morning by Adam. We’ve recently moved into a new house which was left in a not so great state. Originally booked a standard chimney clean but there was a nest found. Adam was very honest about what the costs etc would be to have the nest removed and continue with the work which I was happy to do due to having been given all the information there and then. All round great service and will be using sweep smarts services again in the future.

The lady who took my call was extremely friendly and efficient. I received a couple of reminders by text and email about the appointment and a further text this morning giving me a time of arrival. Although I wasn't present whilst the work was done, my partner couldn't speak more highly of Adam and what a good job he carried out - I don't think the chimney or woodburner has ever been so clean!!!! After Adam had left I had an email enclosing the invoice and certificate (with accompanying photographs). Even paying the invoice was extremely straightforward and easy. I will definitely use SweepSmart again and would highly recommend them.

We received excellent service from the Sweepsmart. Appointment booking was easy, and the on-the-day tracking of their arrival they provide makes things very time efficient. Having recently moved in, we “inherited” a log burner which we wanted to ensure the chimney was in a good condition before using properly. Adam not only did a great job with the inspection and sweep, he took the time to give us an idiot’s guide on how to use the burner and made a few repairs to the some of the log burner parts.
