I have used TJ Plumbing on several occasions and have always been impressed with their work from mending a leaking toilet to installing a new combi boiler. Today it was the immersion heater element which had failed. My house is approximately 150 years old and the location of the hot tank is quirky to say the least! The engineer was extremely courteous, very efficient and able to cope with the restricted access and difficult positioning of the tank to complete a challenging job. The biggest problem was an air lock which took almost as long as the job itself but he would not leave until he had sorted it out. I would highly recommend this company.

We hadn’t used this trader before but we received a quotation for a replacement kitchen tap. This was fitted on the date agreed and was carried out by a courteous and professional plumber. Really pleased with works from beginning to end. Would certainly recommend TJ plumbing Shefford and will certainly use them again.

TJ Plumbing were recommended to me by neighbours and an excellent recommendation it was. Great communication from the beginning, clear quote which was the final price. Lots of email updates too. Turned up on time, Dave (plumber) was awesome - lovely guy, very polite and friendly, took great care in my property and was very tidy. Branded smart van & uniform. Also gave some good advice and was clearly very knowledgeable about my boiler/system in general. Was there for 2 jobs, boiler service and TRV install - turns out I actually needed 2 x TRV's for the solution I wanted (HIVE) which I thought might be the case. Dave only had 1 in his van and was also unsure due to the type of system I have. Would have expected most to ask me to rebook it - not Dave, he called the office, got another engineer to drop one off at my property and he cracked on and had the job done super fast. Very happy customer - than you TJ Plumbing.

From start to finish, l have experienced professional, friendly, and polite dealings, from the receptionist and Dave the engineer who completed the job successfully and efficiently. The price agreed ahead is the total price paid for the job. They didn’t even request the payment until after the job was completed, and then they sent it by email. The repair was completed without any issue, although another large company, namely Baxi, requested a much higher price, and although they didn’t complete the job, they charged me a huge amount of £90 call out, while it was their fault. I had my air conditioning installed by TJ Plumbing Shefford after a friend’s recommendation, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the very first contact, the communication was excellent. They arranged a prompt site visit, provided a clear and competitive quote, and gave me sound advice on the best installation options for my space. They kept me informed every step of the way, checking in the day before the installation and updating me on the order progress. On the day itself, the team arrived exactly on time, were friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient. They worked seamlessly together and clearly knew what they were doing. What stood out most was the attention to detail and quality of workmanship. They took real care during the install and left everything spotless, no mess, no fuss. From making the appointment to completion of work the service was great. I wanted air conditioning installed and didn't know what was available. The guy who came to estimate understood my requirements exactly and suggested an air source heat pump which would both cool and heat the property. Several queries regarding the positioning of the unit were answered promptly prior to installation. The installer was polite and helpful and made a neat job of the installation. I am very happy with it.

An appointment was arranged easily and quickly. Terry, the owner, saw us as notified on time to find and repair a fault in the heating system, finding a leak too. Everything was repaired and he explained what he found and did. Brilliant service. A subsequent service of the boiler was done by Lewis, also punctually and efficiently with full explanations and advice offered. Brilliant service from everyone we had contact with: I will use the company again and can thoroughly recommend them.

From initial contact via phone call, to delivery, the service was first class. On the day of installation of my hot water tap, Mac arrived on time. He completed the job efficiently and talked me through operating instructions. A very professional organisation.

We made the decision to get Aircon fitted after using a costly portable unit for the past few years. TJ Plumbing Shefford Limited came back to us very quickly after our initial enquiry, and quickly provided us with a quote. They spent a good portion of that initial call out going over the finishing touches as well as inviting us to the showroom to see the different product lines they install. I felt very confident with their service, so I decided to book them in. We had a slightly difficult install due to a roofed carport at the side of our house. TJ sorted this out and also sorted out a recall to fix the scaffolding, as the initial setup needed a bit more added. This was done quickly and at no extra cost to us. The installers, Paul and Josh did a brilliant job. Very friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. They even left the rooms cleaner than before the install happened! Whilst we had a little trouble hooking up the units to the phone app, Paul tried a couple of approaches to fix the connectivity issues. We managed to fix the issue after trying the app on a different phone however, his willing to help was most appreciated. The units work perfectly and the outside cables have been trunked very well, it just looks like we have some extra drainpipes running down the side of the house. They have hidden the outside unit behind the pitch of our carport roof, so you would never know it was there from most angles. Brilliant product, brilliant service, happily recommend.

We requested a Quote for the Supply&Fit of an Air Conditioning Unit for our Summer House / Home Office Space. After initial Photos to WhatsApp to give an idea of the Site access etc. We received a fantastic Quotation Pack in the Post. Sam in the Office arranged a suitable appointment. Paul the Engineer arrived on Time, was Polite, Friendly & Professional Did a Great job installing & a very tidy finish. We spotted a potential problem with the pipe work after installation , with just 1 phone call and some photos to Terry a 2nd appointment was arranged to re-route the excess water away from the wooden building base by engineer Mack without any problems at all. Arrived on time, carried out the work as described to the standard expected. Knowledgeable in their trade, courteous and pleasant. Have nothing to fault the two guys who carried out the boiler fit and power flush.

We had an annual boiler service and investigation of a water leak from our shower/pipes. The engineer was clean, tidy and very respectful when in our home. He clearly knew what he was doing and completed the works in a timely manner. Good knowledge of the investigation of the leak and offered some sound advice on how to rectify the issue. Highly recommend TJ Plumbing for any future works. Reliable, trustworthy and honest.

We had a standard boiler replaced with a combi-boiler, which also involved draining and isolating the water tank in the loft, removal and disposal of the hot water tank/emersion heater, a chemical flush of the heating system and installation of a wider bore gas supply pipe. They also replaced 2 power showers with thermostatic mixer showers and replaced 2 old radiators and 3 old faulty TRVs. All this work was done in a day as scheduled (8.30am to ~4pm) by a team of skilled, hard-working, extremely polite, friendly plumbers who ensured everything was working perfectly and leak-free. They were careful to cover all walkways with plastic sheeting to protect carpets and flooring and cleaned and tidied everything up at the end of the day to leave the house as they found it. The plumbers were a credit to their company and we would have no hesitation in using them again in future. The lead up to the day was also extremely smooth and well handled with an accurate quote for the work, good guidance/information by the person generating the quote and very helpful responses to subsequent questions and requests to alter the scope of the quote as we added in the radiator replacement request after the initial quote was received. We were very impressed by the professionalism of the whole team involved throughout, by their friendly, informative helpful approach which made the day stress free.

TJ Plumbing have been wonderful in installing our new heating system. We were booked in but lost hot water do they bought our install forwards to help us. Responded to my email at gone 8 pm to offer help! Fabulous tradespeople and lovely to have them in our house. Clean, professional work. After-care has been outstanding too. Terry even came over again to show me how the system works as I was at work the time before. Delighted!
