Very nice gentleman responded to my call at 9pm on Thursday evening and fixed my leaking water tank the following morning. I had already isolated the water tank so it was urgent but not an emergency. I really appreciated that he reorganized his day so that he could fit me in so soon. Quoted me a price over the phone and turned up next day. Very polite, capable and efficient. Job done and I was relieved and happy.

I have used Tommy several times, the latest being to fix a leaking tap. He came round straight away and diagnosed the problem very quickly. It needed a replacement cartridge which, due to the age of the tap, had to be found online. Tommy then came back promptly at an agreed later date and fitted the new cartridge, which wasn’t straightforward. He takes care to make sure everything works properly. He is always very helpful and says to get in touch with him if there’s a problem.

The job involved excavating a hole in my bathroom wall, to create an access panel to allow for ongoing access to the hidden soil wast pipe. This is for leak detection and ongoing maintenance purposes. Tommy carried out the job carefully and efficiently. It is a bit unnerving to have excavation work done, especially in an area where there is hidden pipework to expose. Tommy communicated well while undertaking the work, and took helpful pics to demonstrate what he was doing. Tommy has a straightforward manner which gives confidence in his work and craftsmanship. Tommy was also punctual and conscious of ensuring the area was left clean. The cost of the job was reasonable too. I have used Tommy before and would certainly do so again. I strongly recommend his services.

We had a blocked kitchen sink, tried to clear it ourselves, but made it worse. Found Tommy James on Which? Trusted Traders when looking for plumber in West London and he quoted a fixed price. He arrived on time, with the right equipment and fixed the problem in under an hour, then waited to ensure that the dishwasher would drain correctly. Tommy was polite, helpful and knowledgeable and we would definitely use him again!

Replacement of toilet carried out neatly without disturbing surrounding floor and wall tiles. Several unexpected difficulties due to the old installation overcome and the whole job completed to budget. All carried out at the arranged time. Would definitely recommend.

Our kitchen drain (underground) blocked up so sink & washing machine could not be used. Rang my previous drain company who did not answer nor reply to messages. Found Tommy James via "Which traders". Answered promptly and fixed time to my preference to come round urgently and assess. Phoned back to confirm on route. Decided to rod the pipe rather than wait for availability of his spray jet colleague. Successful clearance much to my relief! Reasonable charge for his work. I have kept his contact and would use again

Problem with drainage from washing machine. Mr James was thorough and generous with time to identify the likely cause in hose and awkwardly aligned under-sink plumbing. He was able to adjust a hose kink on this first (Friday) visit, then provide quote and return on Monday with necessary materials. The plumbing was replaced/realigned, the old plumbing showing considerable dirt buildup. I have taken a little time to run a number of washes and the machine is operating well (it is a good Miele but quite old and we had discussed the possibility that it was a machine failure). Mr James arrived on time, was friendly, unhurried, checked his work and left the site impeccably clean. I will happily call him for any future plumbing problems. I did not get various quotes on price so cannot comment though first call-out charge seemed standard with no skimp on time.

Tommy saved our Christmas by coming promptly to fix a blocked waste pipe in the late afternoon of Dec 23rd. He didn’t leave until the issue was fully fixed. Fantastic service, 5 stars!
