TLC Decorating Services

Having moved into our house a few years ago now, we've had several different projects we wanted to complete but could never find the time to do so. We eventually decided to use a professional team to get everything done properly, and I'm so pleased we went with TLC, who have completely lived up to their reputation. Peter originally came round to quote for the work several weeks ago, and was really keen to work with us bring our vision so life. That included presenting much better solutions than we could've come up with ourselves! Unfortunately we had to postpone the work the day before it was due to begin, but Peter was incredibly compassionate, kind, and accommodating. The work was underway a few weeks later with Derek and George, who were both great, and did a fantastic job. There was an awful lot to go through, and our home has been completely transformed. At the end of the project Peter even came round to do some final touch ups to ensure we got maximum value from everything. I'm sure we'll use TLC again in the future and would certainly recommend them to others in the area.

Peter turned up on time to look at project and gave quote within a reasonable length of time. This was for outside work, so not started until Spring, which was fine. Scaffolding was put up and taken down in a timely manner. John and George turned up on time everyday and worked late in the evening if bad weather was forecast to get job done. They were both very pleasant and I couldn't fault their professionalism. They were both very understanding about my father whose house they were painting (he's 94). I would definitely recommend them, and if I need any work done on my house, will definitely contact Peter.

We've used TLC, Peter and the team a number of times over the years on two properties, for both interior and exterior decoration. They are excellent. The pricing is very fair, the work is done in a timely and professional manner to a high standard and we have found them trustworthy and reliable throughout, including having access to our home without issue while we are offsite.

Exterior paintwork on some house windows and one door showed signs of flaking, and TLC was contacted to repair any damage. As a minor job Peter visited at a couple of days notice, and repaired/weather-proofed the paintwork himself. We are delighted with the result, with Peter’s friendly manner, his efficiency, advice, quality of materials used, and workmanship.

Peter and the team were exceptionally professional, friendly and helpful. From organising initial viewings and arranging the quote to getting the work done, the team were excellent. Even when little things came up the team worked around it to get a fantastic result. Would recommend.

I knew the work would be done well when John from TLC arrived. On time. Clean and fresh and bright and intelligent. He explained the work needed in every room and how the work would be achieved. I had complete confidence in his Company from the start. The Quote arrived speedily and was very clear. I had my whole two bedroomed flat decorated floor to ceiling. I was dreading the upheaval.. John arrived on time every day. Left with a tidy flat and explanation what he would do the next day. I and my two cats were treated kindly and with respect and I was amazed at the speed and quality of his work. My family are thrilled with the transformation to my home as am I. I cannot speak highly enough of this Company! TLC is aptly named!

Peter and his team were very accommodating from the get go. We had a limited time frame as we're moving house while I am 8 months pregnant. The painting was completed ahead of schedule to a high degree. Couldn't have asked for a better job.

We previously used TLC for decorating work in September 2022 and were so impressed with their work that we used them again for our latest project to decorate a further 4 rooms. In addition to the painting, this also included various fixings/fillings of walls and ceilings and replacing of skirting boards. Peter’s team not only did a very professional job, they were courteous, friendly, helpful and tidy. We intend to use them for a future project and have already recommended them without hesitation to friends and neighbours.
