T.M Decor

Tommy & co. painted almost all the walls, ceilings and woodwork in my small house. Quite a big job. Would love to have given 5/5 as they're a young business. They took on the work at short notice and pulled out all the stops to complete it on time and to budget. Had from 1 to 5 people working on any one day, including weekends. They generally had a can-do attitude, however, be careful that what Tommy agreed to do in writing is only what they'll expect to do and some things you might have asked for may have been missed off that list without warning, leading to misunderstandings. In my case, that was removal/disposal of rubbish from site, but Tommy adjusted the cost of the job for that to keep me happy. Sadly, they had slightly too much focus on 'the next jobs' so there wasn't enough quality checking and a very minor tiling job they had agreed to do was also left off. The painting done by Tommy and Scott was good quality, however, some of the others needed to have their work quality checked better. Scott even re-did a number of areas he had done because they weren't up to his standards (without my asking). However, there were some patches of final gloss paint that were missed off or poor quality (like stairs finials) that I had to repaint. The radiator in the main bedroom has noticeable paint drips. You can scrape off the gloss on the woodwork on the door frame in that room with a fingernail, and the Johnstone's wall paint used is poor quality - rough and easy to mark.

We are over the moon with the service we received. It was our first time using TM Decor but will definitely be using them in the future. Tommy was absolutely brilliant with communication from start to finish and answered any questions or worries we had. Scott did an incredible job spraying the kitchen cabinets. He took great care prepping the space and was so knowledgable about kitchens he was just a great help. They work incredibly quickly, other places I had looked at took double the length of time. And we are so happy with the results. We can’t believe how just having the cabinets painted has changed the kitchen completely, it has absolutely refreshed the space and we are chuffed with the results. Would recommend.

I have used TM Decor on a number of occasions and will continue to. I am a carpenter and we make a lot of bespoke units. Having Tommy and his team in to spray them is simply brilliant. They are very reasonably priced and the quality of work is excellent. I would highly recommend TM Decor.
