One of the UK's most distingushed carpet & flooring retailers, T Nutt & Sons is owned by David and Keven Nutt was founded in 1869 by their Great Grandfather. Still a family business which is celebrating over 153 years of trading.
The company supply's and fits Carpets, Karndean, Coretec,Quickstep,Wood, Vinyl, Laminate, and Natural Floorings. It's customer base is scattered mainly across the Midlands and Yorkshire, but has repeat clients across the country.
The company's accolades include their appearance on DIY show screened by the BBC.In addition, David and Keven were selected by the Carpet Foundation (of which they are members), to head a national marketing campaign, which featured in leading national magazines, in Ideal Home and BBC Home Antiques etc, David was also invited by the BBC to appear on Working Lunch program, to discuss the importance of obtaining the Office of Fair Trading status.

The reason we chose T Nutt @Sons for our flooring job was quite simply, their reputation. We went to view Karndean samples in Clay Cross and Keven was very helpful in assisting us in choosing the correct product. The brief was to floor our two top attic rooms and Richard came out to survey the job giving us great solutions and confidence. His priority seemed to be in doing the best job possible and nothing seemed too much trouble. This wasn't our cheapest quote but we believed we would get the best job so it was a no brainer. When the time came for installation, they arrived on time, kept to schedule and involved us whenever a choice or decision had to be made. Richard and his assistant were polite, friendly and professional and I would have no hesitation in using this company again or in recommending them to others. They are proud of their customer commitment as a family firm but my only suggestion might be that they communicate in a little more detail or more regularly through email. Brilliant job nonetheless!!

We have just had our dining room, lounge, hall and bathroom floors replaced. We cannot thank Carl and Cory enough, they have done a brilliant job. They moved all the furniture and replaced it once they finished. We would definitely recommend T. Nutt & Sons.

After looking around for a floor fitter for the kitchen and utility area in our old house we came across this company. While others were all about the problems, T.Nutt were really positive and professional. Great range of products across the whole design and price range. We got great advice on suitability, preparation and fitting. Nothing was too much trouble. The fitting service was excellent, from the laying of the screed to level the old floor to the tidying after. The fitters were prompt, professional and really considerate. The finished room is superb. Highly recommend this company.

I’ve used T. Nutt & Sons for previous work and been highly satisfied. I looked at several Companies for this flooring, on recommendations, having never had Kardean fitted before. I’m highly delighted with the fitting, different levels and types of floors were corrected, the walls are by no means square, but looks perfect. It runs diagonally into the utility flawlessly. It’s been commented on by all that have seen my new kitchen and utility Thank you team.

Due to medical issues, we had a home visit to discuss and choose new carpet. This service was exemplary, and made choosing new carpet so easy and stress free. We picked a carpet that was exactly what we were looking for, and a couple of weeks later, was fitted to three bedrooms, landing, stairs and hall way. The fitting was first class, those carpet fitters certainly know their craft. The fitting in all the corners is 100% perfect, it is incredibly neat and looks amazing. Really appreciated the home visit, and I hope T Nutt continues to offer this service. A very big Thank You to T Nutt for providing a first class customer service and quality carpet.

We found T.Nutt and Son Ltd after a very disappointing time with another dealer. Walking in to the shop we were shown exactly the sort of carpets samples we needed - and their pricing was brilliantly simple. Ordering and measuring went through without any problems, and the fitting date was arranged. When it came to the time, the fitters turned up on time - a great team. They took care to look after the premises, even to moving a heavy piano - fitted expertly with attention to detail and left only after they were convnced that we were happy with their work - WHICH WE WERE! We cannot recomment T.Nutt & Sons Ktd highly enough. Thanks for your help.

The fitters were prompt, professional and efficient. The two appointments we had were kept (4 carpets to be fitted, including stairs) and on time. They got on with the jobs as expected. They clearly knew exactly what they needed to do. Even the gripper strip was put down neatly! I would definitely only use T Nutt again.

My late father used this well established firm to carpet the family home in the 70s and 80s. On recently having moved back to the area, I decided to approach this long establish firm to enquire about carpets for my new property. From start to finish, they were excellent. Firstly, I was able to take a number of samples home to see how the textures and colours worked in different lights and with my decor. They were attentive to my preferences and there was no attempt to influence my decision, and they were helpful in suggesting cheaper alternatives. On the day of the carpet fitting, the two gentleman worked efficiently, cleanly and showed great workmanship. My old carpet was removed and furniture moved by the workers, and there were no hidden extras in my quote, everything was covered. From start to finish, all staff that I encountered were friendly, courteous and professional. My carpet is great quality and looks good in situ. I would highly recommend them and will be using them again when I do further decorating in my property. I can't fault them.

We have used T Nutt previously and had no hesitation in using them again to fit a new carpet in our lounge and to fit Karndean flooring in the hall. From initially entering the shop to view samples, to the job being complete, the service has been exemplary. We weren't asked for any money up front, which is very rare and refreshing in today's world. We are extremely pleased with the carpet. But we are overjoyed with the Karndean! We had an abstract pattern which took three and a half days in total to complete, including laying an initial screed. A massive shout out to Richard and Harry for a superb job. I can't stop looking at it!

Visited T Nutt and Sons showroom to look for new carpet for our lounge/dining room. We were met with a warm welcome and invited to browse the extensive collection on display. The staff were very attentive and invited us to take samples home if required. We duly made an appointment for a measure up and quote and placed our order. At no time were we pressured or asked to pay money up front - which is refreshing in today's market. The fitting team arrived promptly on the agreed date and were polite and professional throughout. They made a terrific job and we were highly satisfied with the work. It makes a change to deal with a such a friendly efficient company who are happy to deal with you. We would certainly go back for more.
