T. Nutt & Sons Ltd

After 30+ years we had a new kitchen floor fitted in our old cottage by T Nutt and Sons Ltd. The work was carried out by Richard and his assistant Harry. We could tell straight away that Richard was a skilled craftsman and Harry a very able and willing helper. It was completed in the time allotted to our total satisfaction, by two delightful people who were nice to have around, obviously happy in their work and proud of what they do and they worked throughout in a clean and tidy manner together. We are absolutely delighted with our new floor and the difference it has made to our kitchen. The supplying and fitting was an extremely fair price we are happy with. Thank you so much and we have no hesitation in highly recommending this firm.

We have used T Nutt & Sons several times now, and they are always our first point of call. Today was the largest challenge yet. The through lounge and dining room required a carpet around 42 sq mtrs, and it was fitted in one piece. The company sent 5 fitters to manhandle the enormous roll. Although when they were ready to start the actual fitting 3 of them went on to another job. They cleared away all the rubbish, including all the old carpet and underlay. The invoice was exactly the same as the quote, and as usual, included all new grippers and underlay. Highly recommend this pleasant, professional local company.

We have used Nutts for over 30 years and my father used them for many years before that. Their prices are very competitive and their fitters are superb; in fact we recognised one of them from 17 years ago. They recently fitted carpets in our lounge, hall and bedroom and we are, as usual, very pleased with the result. If you want a reliable firm I can recommend Nutts.

Excellent service, good carpet choice at Clay Cross Showrooms. No pressure to buy but excellent knowledge and advice given. Carpet Fitter Team were very professional and friendly, respecting our home and also moved the heavy furniture on our behalf. Carried out their work in orderly and professional manner. Having undergone a recent house refurbishment, we were at a loss as to where to go for good quality carpets as the family business that we had dealt with over many years had closed due to retirement so we were really pleased to find T Nutt & Sons at Claycross, another family business, as they were exactly what we had been looking for and certainly ticked all the boxes. We visited their showroom and there was a fantastic range of carpets with prices to suit all pockets. We were met by one of the family members, a lovely chap, who kindly assisted us with our enquiries and we left with a bundle of different carpet samples to take home. Once we had finalised what we required we proceeded to book 3 phases in the diary for the install, this wasn't a problem at all and we found all the staff very accommodating. The carpet fitters were all a great bunch of lads that were prompt, friendly and worked to a very high standard and the result was amazing we have to say. We would personally like to thank the following; Kevin, for his initial help when we first visited, Steven for his time measuring all the rooms up and answering queries that we had, also the team of carpet fitters...NIgel, Cory, Carl, Josh and one other whose name we cannot remember and finally Malcolm who always answered the telephone with a friendly manner and had a great sense of humour. We can highly recommend this business as they definitely go above and beyond!

Had T Nutt and sons to replace our old and slippery porcelain kitchen floor tiles with a non slip covering . Excellent job all round , all members highly delighted . Well fitted and looks good and is def non slip. Would highly recommend .

Having relied upon recommendation to use T.Nutt and Sons two years ago to fit Coretex flooring to our downstairs hall, we had no hesitation this year in once more engaging them for the more complex task of carpet removal, floor levelling, and Coretex laying to much of the first floor of our old barn. As before, the work was carried out with care, skill, and courtesy; on time; with minimum disruption; and a high and comforting level of communication throughout the process from first visit, through quotation, and to arrival on site to complete. When Richard and Harry left upon completion of the job, there was only a wonderful looking floor to evidence that they had been there at all.

I contacted T. Nutt & Sons Ltd about getting a new carpet fitted as they have a great reputation in the local area and I wasn't disappointed! I needed a quick turnaround as we had recently moved in and I had a new bed arriving and T Nutt & Sons were able to accommodate me. I went to the show room to pick a carpet from their huge range of options and arranged for measurements. I knew it wouldn't be a cheap job but I wanted the best and T Nutt & Sons were very competitive on price. The fitting went without a hitch. The room was an awkward shape so it required an experienced and professional team and that is what we got. The carpet required a seam, which you genuinely cannot see. The room looks amazing. The fitters were quick, polite, clean and professional. I cannot recommend T. Nutt and Sons highly enough. I will definitely be going back for my next carpet or flooring.

I recently had my two bedroom carpets and bathroom vinyl laid. I managed to empty most of the furniture and the guys came along and moved the heavy items and put everything back in place when work was completed.. All the old carpet and vinyl was removed so that was a godsend for me and finished over two days to fit in with me. They were a pleasure to deal with and very professional either face to face or over the telephone. I had used them the previous year for my downstairs rooms and stairs and kitchen when I was flooded out. They were so helpful and I was able to bring home sample books and their advice on the carpets etc was spot on. Would highly recommend them to friends and neighbours

This is the first time we have used T. Nutts and we can honestly say we have been impressed from start to finish. Richard and Harry who carried out the work arrived on time , looked smart, were very friendly and totally professional. We have not had laminate flooring before so I asked Richard some questions about care etc and he explained the best way to clean and maintain it. Between them Richard and Harry have made an brilliant job of laying the floor, they really work well together and make an excellent team . I would highly recommend them , the floor looks fantastic! and they left everything beautifully clean and tidy .
