T. Nutt & Sons Ltd

Having used T. Nutt & Sons for many years; recommended them to our daughter and boyfriend for their first house. They have had carpets fitted in the lounge, hall, stairs, landing and main bedroom. Excellent customer service as always.

This is the first time I have used T Nutt and sons. They fitted a carpet on the stairs and landing and Coretec plus flooring in the hall and dining room. Their price was very competitive. The fitters were very friendly and professional, the work being carried out to the highest standard. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will certainly be using them again for all my flooring needs.

From selection of the products, where we were given honest, experienced and knowledgeable assistance, a home visit to ensure accurate measurement, and the fitting - which was done carefully and professionally. The fitters went above and beyond what was expected, including removing, planing and replacing a door to ensure that the carpet was not stretched. They showed great pride in their work and in leaving the place as they found it. A fitter was even willing to move his holiday to ensure that we didn't have to wait too long for our flooring to be fitted. There is no request for any payment until the job is complete and you are pleased with the work carried out. An excellent friendly, family run business.

We called at T Nutts without any idea what they were like, but called because they promoted a brand of carpet we were interested in. Having used national brands and other local high profile shops we were a little unsure as to how they would compare. On entering the shop, we were immediately met with the sort of high calibre of service and trade knowledge that we had long since given up expecting. All the staff were helpful, knowledgeable and intent on helping us to choose the right carpets for us rather than the carpet they might have wanted to sell us. We were overwhelmed with their help and obvious desire to let us take as many samples as we needed. When they came to measure up, the service and knowledge were still just as evident as when we were in the shop and then the fitting was exemplary. The fitters were careful not to damage any decoration and to be honest I have never seen a carpet fitted so exactly. They also didn't even take a deposit and said they would only ask for payment when they were sure we were happy with the job. I gave up hoping businesses still existed like T Nutt years ago. Long may they stay that way and long may they stay in business. Just fantastic and FLAWLESS.

We were given advice when ordering from their wide choice of quality carpets. Price quoted was satisfactory. Fitters arrived punctually, were very hard working, did a first class job. Left everywhere clean and tidy Can't fault the service we received in any way. Couldn't wish for anything better.

First class fitting of Karndean herringbone flooring to hall really impressed with Richard who takes great care and satisfaction in what he does looks lovely. Had carpet fitted on the stairs and landing and got the same service. It is the first time we have used T.Nutt and Sons but will definitely be using them again.

I recently had my two bedroom carpets and bathroom vinyl laid. I managed to empty most of the furniture and the guys came along and moved the heavy items and put everything back in place when work was completed.. All the old carpet and vinyl was removed so that was a godsend for me and finished over two days to fit in with me. They were a pleasure to deal with and very professional either face to face or over the telephone. I had used them the previous year for my downstairs rooms and stairs and kitchen when I was flooded out. They were so helpful and I was able to bring home sample books and their advice on the carpets etc was spot on. Would highly recommend them to friends and neighbours
