About
One of the UK's most distingushed carpet & flooring retailers, T Nutt & Sons is owned by David and Keven Nutt was founded in 1869 by their Great Grandfather. Still a family business which is celebrating over 153 years of trading.
The company supply's and fits Carpets, Karndean, Coretec,Quickstep,Wood, Vinyl, Laminate, and Natural Floorings. It's customer base is scattered mainly across the Midlands and Yorkshire, but has repeat clients across the country.
The company's accolades include their appearance on DIY show screened by the BBC.In addition, David and Keven were selected by the Carpet Foundation (of which they are members), to head a national marketing campaign, which featured in leading national magazines, in Ideal Home and BBC Home Antiques etc, David was also invited by the BBC to appear on Working Lunch program, to discuss the importance of obtaining the Office of Fair Trading status.

This is the first time we have used T. Nutts and we can honestly say we have been impressed from start to finish. Richard and Harry who carried out the work arrived on time , looked smart, were very friendly and totally professional. We have not had laminate flooring before so I asked Richard some questions about care etc and he explained the best way to clean and maintain it. Between them Richard and Harry have made an brilliant job of laying the floor, they really work well together and make an excellent team . I would highly recommend them , the floor looks fantastic! and they left everything beautifully clean and tidy .

We have just had our dining room, lounge, hall and bathroom floors replaced. We cannot thank Carl and Cory enough, they have done a brilliant job. They moved all the furniture and replaced it once they finished. We would definitely recommend T. Nutt & Sons.

Had T Nutt and sons to replace our old and slippery porcelain kitchen floor tiles with a non slip covering . Excellent job all round , all members highly delighted . Well fitted and looks good and is def non slip. Would highly recommend .

I contacted T. Nutt & Sons Ltd about getting a new carpet fitted as they have a great reputation in the local area and I wasn't disappointed! I needed a quick turnaround as we had recently moved in and I had a new bed arriving and T Nutt & Sons were able to accommodate me. I went to the show room to pick a carpet from their huge range of options and arranged for measurements. I knew it wouldn't be a cheap job but I wanted the best and T Nutt & Sons were very competitive on price. The fitting went without a hitch. The room was an awkward shape so it required an experienced and professional team and that is what we got. The carpet required a seam, which you genuinely cannot see. The room looks amazing. The fitters were quick, polite, clean and professional. I cannot recommend T. Nutt and Sons highly enough. I will definitely be going back for my next carpet or flooring.

T Nutt & Sons have always been the provider my carpet's/laminate flooring. I won’t go anywhere else! The level of service is outstanding from the knowledge of the products, to the help and advice you receive in store, and the updates received prior to fitting. A good job well done… The fitters are helpful, friendly, reliable and professional and there fitting skills are excellent. Prices are very competitive, plus you get all of the above instead of going to a carpet hypermarket where none of the above are priority as it all about profit and moving onto the next job.. The best around for miles and miles. Don't go anywhere else. :-)

Nutto were totally brilliant. Value for money was good, they quoted a price and delivered. They let us bring home as many samples as we liked to test them in the room. They turned up at the booked time - and the workmanship is fantastic. We have a stonewall and the work to scribe the carpet into every part of that is exceptional

As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with a friendly face and given all the help you want with no pressure to buy . Once a purchase is decided upon and the measuring completed the fitting date is left to your own schedule not theirs.The fitting team were extremely polite pleasant obliging efficient and professional.They also moved and replaced all the large and heavy furniture.To end the Nutt's experience a phone call was received the next morning to see if everything went to our satisfaction

Patrick Nutt was very patient and helpful in the showroom on two separate occasions and during his visit to our home. Dates and times for fitting were fixed and adhered to. Fitters were courteous, obliging and skilled. Excellent "old fashioned" service from start to finish. (Not cheap, but worth it).

This is not the first time for me to have carpets fitted by T.Nutt and Sons. Now, as in other years I found them to be most helpful, professional and friendly. You can buy the same carpets in other places but would you get the same fitting. (I don't think so) I will be going back anytime soon so I think that says it all.

We had kargan flooring laid by nutt's last year & we were so pleased with their workmanship we went back to them this year. Thursday 11th of May. Kardan flooring fitted expertly and snug. Tuesday 30th of may. Same superb service fitting lounge carpet. Monday 12th of June. Fitting of bedroom carpet. T Nutt & Sons are a superb company to deal with. Everyone of them makes you feel special & the quality of service cannot be beaten.
