Having seen T.P.Sherwood create stunning driveways and patios at several homes in the road we live in, we had no hesitation in asking them to do our steps and patio. An excellent, hardworking team built just what we wanted. Great care and consideration were taken and their pride in their work was obvious to us both. T P Sherwood & Sons Ltd have recently carried out remedial work to my block-paving drive. A large workforce was employed, in order that my job was completely with the minimum of disruption. Everyone was kind and courteous, the standard of workmanship excellent and the site left clean and tidy. Trevor was very kind and helpful, and went out of his way to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the end result. I thoroughly recommend this firm.

From one phone call Trevor came round to measure up, quoted and said the date we could have it done. Started when they said they would. Worked to a very high standard and kept us informed. The end result was absolutely stunning and completely transformed the space. They have a great knowledge and take pride in their work.

We could not be more impressed with the work Trevor and his team carried out. After many years living with a crumbling driveway and patio, it was time to bite the bullet. Having obtained a number of quotes, we accepted Sherwood's; although not the cheapest, the quote was in no way excessive and, from the start, Trevor presented as professional and knowledgeable. It was reassuring payment would only be required after the work had been fully completed to our satisfaction. Trevor explained once started, all the company's resources would be dedicated solely to our job, ensuring it would be completed expeditiously, a promise that was fully met. When the start date was set, as promised, the team arrived at 7.30am, and remained equally prompt throughout their time with us. At the end of every day, we were astounded at how much progress the team had made, a testament to their industry and efficiency. All the team were courteous and extremely tidy (you only needed to witness the spotless condition of their van!) All the work was carried out in 5 days, well within our expectations and completed to an impeccable standard. The quality of the finish could not be bettered; it was abundantly clear how much pride is taken in their work and Trevor went out of his way to ensure we were totally satisfied before completion. We cannot praise the team highly enough and have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Sherwoods.

We had three patio area’s replaced with porcelain slabs. The work was carried out over three days and to the agreed estimate. The work was done by a team in a considerate and helpful manor at all times. We were kept updated with everything as the work progressed. Nothing was to much trouble for them. All rubbish was removed promptly and the sites left tidy each evening. On completion extra care was made to make sure that they were leaving the site neat and tidy and that we were happy with all the work they had completed. If we should have any problems from the work carried out it was made very clear that we must ring and they would return to resolve whatever. If we should need any further work done in the future we would not hesitate to contact Mr Sherwood and his team again.

From start to finish T.P.Sherwood & Sons dealt with our driveway project with military precision and superb professionalism. From the off proving to be very knowledgeable and passionate about their work whilst still managing to help us through the process in terms of design and materials in such a way that made it easy for us to understand. Time keeping was excellent, workmanship and materials used were top quality. On completion of the work all the surrounding areas were cleaned down and the new driveway has taken years off our house with a new and fresh look. We have no hesitation in recommending Trevor, Mitch and their team to anybody who may be looking for someone to carry out similar work . Price can be an important factor in the times we are in and having previously spoken to other firms we are confident we absolutely made the right choice for the quality of driveway we now have.

Trevor and his team were fantastic from start to finish. Our site had a few unforeseen issues but Trevor wasn't fazed by any of them and came up with practical solutions. We had some drainage problems which he promised would be resolved and now three months on we haven't seen any of the pools of water we had previously. He even sourced a fencer at short notice who also did a fantastic job. His team were so polite and hard working; and we are really pleased with our finished block paved front garden - we constantly get neighbours and people passing by commenting on what a good job has been done. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend TP Sherwood to anyone.

TP Sherwood came to me with a big reputation and I was not disappointed. They have completely transformed our drive paths and patio which a large to say the least. Trevor gave me a complete breakdown of what we were paying for and time frame. They were all very professional from start to finish keeping me up date and photos. I will definitely be using them again and would 100% advise anyone to use them. Absolutely outstanding.

It has taken myself & wife years to make a decision on how to proceed with a new driveway & path, we had a number of quotations (as reccommended by Trevor & sons). Trevor was competitive but what we liked was the "professional no nonsence honest approach". The team arrived at 07:45 on the agreed date, they found 2 additional covered drains within the first 20 minutes, this wasnt a problem they worked around the issue and what was going to be an issue turned out looking great. They arrived early each day and never left during the build and completed it in the allocated time as origionally quoted to an excellent standard. We are really pleased we took there advise on the lay out & some edging etc. We would recommend Trevor & his great team 100%. We received excellent service from Trevor and his team from start to finish. I think 'great teamwork' sums up the way they work. Trevor gave us good advice before the job started and nothing was too much trouble. They started early every day, which suited us, worked really hard, cleared up as they went along, leaving the site clean and tidy each day. We now have a fantastic new driveway, retaining walls, and side path which we are so pleased with. We would not hesitate to recommend this efficient and friendly company to anyone. We are very impressed with the whole work undertaken - well organised, well planned and coordinated. The jobs were done in 4 days (Tuesday to Friday). First contacted Trevor Sherwood as he had been recommended by a number of property owners in our road. Throughout the whole process from the initial contact/estimate through to works completion, service was absolutely excellent. Trevor was extremely helpful at the initial meeting in giving suggestions and advice as to the best layout and materials for what was expected. The subsequent estimate was clear and fully comprehensive, covering all of the items needed. The works consisted of taking up the old tarmac/block driveway and relaying with new concrete beta paving and an area of stone clippings. The works were undertaken on the days programmed, carried out very efficiently in two days. Trevor and his staff were extremely helpful and courteous during the whole process. The end result was excellent, fully matching our expectations. The final cost was exactly as estimated. We could not recommend Trevor and his team any higher - absolutely excellent!

We had always had an idea of what we wanted with a complete garden transformation, with the lawn & Shrubs at the front of the house and block paving (very old and uneven) at the back, we basically wanted the block paving at the front and the garden area at the back. We had seen work that Trevor had completed for a neighbour and were very impressed with how quickly and professionally they had completed it. So with our “ideal” plans in hand we contacted Trevor, he arrived on time and went through each element of our plans with us providing professional & experienced advice. Trevor completed a detailed quote within 48 hours which was very competitive. Two weeks before the work commenced Trevor and additional tradesmen (for bespoke fencing) visited to go over the plans and to check if anything had changed and to confirm that he had all of the materials needed in stock so there would be no delays. Work started on the day and time promised and the whole team were respectful, polite and hardworking from the moment they arrived on site through to when they left at the end of the day, the site was left clear and tidy at the end of each day. The work was completed with no issues in the timescale quoted and we are over the moon with this transformation and the difference that it has made to us, being able to park when we get home from work and also being able to sit in a lovely tranquil space in the back garden - worth every penny!

Having recently been diagnosed with a disability my outside living space was unsafe for me so I desperately needed some help to change this situation.. I already had some idea of what I wanted but I couldn't believe the input received from Trevor in what they would be able to do … ! Trevor personally came to visit me to discuss my vision of re-purposing my rear garden. I was taken back at his thinking process to accommodate my disability ensuring I would get back full use of my garden. This even included using different shades of brickwork to assist with depth perception. Once we agreed on the design the quality and professionalism of the whole team ( it was like my own little ground force experience ) .. was exceptional. I am now able to use my garden and outside space as before with the added benefit of it looking like a show home … If only Trevor was able to able to sort out the English weather !! :) These guys are a must for anyone considering having some work done.. Already 3 of my friends who have seen the work are already in contact to get booked in.. Exceptional stuff and so glad I chose this company..

Excellent first impression when Trev came to quote for job. On time, helpful suggestions and detailed quote given within 2 days. He was helpful when we altered our requirements. When he and his work team arrived and started the job I was even more impressed. We had over 53sq meters of patio and two long paths laid. They started the job promptly as promised on Monday morning, and finished as promised on Friday. It was wet and miserable, but they cheerfully worked through it. Work is finished to a very high standard. I am disabled and this work was to enable me better access and mobility around my garden. Trev understood my needs and any changes we asked for were never too much trouble for them. All the workers were lovely. Despite the weather making this a very messy job, when they left they had done such a good job of cleaning up after themselves that you would not have known work men had just been here. We are so pleased with the work. The work came in on time and on budget.

I would not hesitate to recommend Trevor and his team to anyone thinking about getting paving done in the area. The quality of their workmanship and attention to detail was first class. He and his team were polite and professional at all times and so tidy and efficient you will have nothing to do when he's finished, except sit back and admire the improvement!

Trevor and his team have just completed our driveway. It is fantastic and looks beautiful. The service he provides is second to none. Everything was left beautifully tidy at the end of each day and the work was completed ahead of time. The attention to detail was remarkable, he even filled in the flower beds with soil and put up our house sign which had blown down in the storm. We had witnessed Trevor and his team working at our neighbours across the road and had seen firsthand how professional they were, so didn’t hesitate in contacting them for a quote. All work was completed in the exact timescale and to the hour quoted including additional requests! We thought the levels in our garden would be a challenge but not for Trevor and his team, they have given us a patio and driveway to be proud of and have received nothing but compliments and ‘wows’! We were most impressed with Trevor and his teams punctuality and can do attitude in particular they way Trevor got stuck in with the work too. And would not hesitate to recommend and use them again in the future.

We found Trevor through work he’d completed for a relative. At all stages he was polite and understanding. He also ensured that our ageing water supply pipe was replaced before completing the block paving of our driveway. There was a slight modification of plans as we went along due to finding more clay than expected that needed to be removed and also avoiding the root system of an established shrub. The result is excellent and works perfectly for our needs. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend TP Sherwood.

Trevor and his team installed a new block paver driveway. We were recommended by a neighbour. His quote was competitive and he recommended we look at many installations local to us, some were a few years old and others recently fitted. It was easy to assess the quality of his work from these inspections. On the big day his team arrived at 7.30am together with a digger and roller. During the process our rusty mains water iron pipe which crossed the driveway sprung a leak. Trevor quickly turned off the supply to the property, informed my wife and called a plumber. The repair was carried out in the dark and in pouring rain. Trevor attended until the repair was satisfactorily completed getting sopping wet in the process. The whole project took three days and the end result is a stunning new driveway. Very very pleased.

I found out about the company T.P. Sherwood on a walk around my local area. I came across several of the company's showpiece driveways and then, accidentally but fortunately, came across the owner himself. After a friendly conversation, he came a few days later to quote for the job. His price was competitive, the date he gave for the work was spot on and it took the three days that he had said it would. Trevor and his professional but friendly team converted a muddy parking area into an eye-catching driveway and a rough rubbled space into a beautifully paved patio linking the house to the garden. Apart from doing exactly what he said he would, Trevor also accommodated my last minute change of plan. He also arranged for his team to help with a couple of extra jobs, which included laying a couple of slabs for a local charity. In my experience there aren't many companies that go above and beyond to be the best they can be. Second time we have used Trevor and his team and as expected what was provided was a high quality and standard of work. Always professional, on time, tidy, excellent value, the cost was as original quote.

Replaced two sets of steps to raised patio area. Quite tricky brickwork on one of these due to fan-shape. Then laid tarmac and brick edging to patio. The agreed price and start time were stuck to (not all all suppliers do this). Trevor offered useful idea form improving the original design, too. Completed very satisfactorily - great job. Professional and hassle-free. They even washed the surrounding tarmac drive!
