Having struggled for months to find a company who could produce an arched double glazed box sash window for the front of our Victorian property, we finally found TaylorGlaze! Very impressed from the outset when Daniel visited to talk through our requirements. He understood exactly what we were looking for and showed us samples so we could see the spec and quality. We placed our order (3 windows in total) and a month or so later they were being fitted by James & James, two very professional TaylorGlaze tradesman who carried out the installation over two days. We are delighted with our new windows and would highly recommend TaylorGlaze to anyone thinking about using them.

Taylorglaze has replaced our Kitchen window, 2 windows in our piano room as well as French doors and garage door and window. The work was done to a high standard and we are particularly pleased with the quality of the products installed. Daniel was very helpful and responded to our questions well. We are very happy with the work to our house and would recommend them to our friends and family .

We asked Taylorglaze to do our new sliding, alumnium doors for our extension. Tony’s knowledge was invaluable throughout the process and he and his team were very professional. Taylorglaze have provided a superb service from start to finish. Professionalism, technical expertise and interpersonal skills characterised the project which included replacement windows and a door over 5 days. Everything was on time, on budget and disruption was minimal with the highly considerate and hard working two James. TaylorGlaze have an excellent team, they replaced our very dilapidated porch from scratch. They demolished the old one, lots of trades- bricklayers , plasterer, roofers, electricians- every aspect was considered and they cleaned up daily. Excellent communication from the whole team and no hidden surprises. Would I ask them to do further work? Yes without hesitation. Everything was well coordinated . Highly recommend this team.

We had 2 requests for work with TaylorGlaze: (1) Replacement soffits and gettering - absolutely superb & very professional job. On time and finished in a day. (2) Installed replacement windows and 3 sets of external doors (front door, kitchen double doors and bi-fold doors into our garden) at our 3-bed semi-detached home and did an absolutely superb job. Always turned up on time; their attention to detail was superb to leave all finishes around the windows and doors looking lovely and the doors and windows look brilliant!! Having been let down by another company regarding replacing my 32 year old Amdega conservatory roof, I contacted Taylorglaze. Tony was so helpful and managed to produce a plan for the roof that overcame a number of hurdles. His surveyor then refined this. It had previously become apparent that my windows and doors were at the end of their useful life so, my quote included replacing those as well. James and James arrived to dismantle the wooden structure (my conservatory also has brick walls and, due to several house-cats needing to be kept indoors, they constructed a temporary door to prevent cat escapes. I can’t name them all here but, every person worked incredibly hard and the quality of all work is exceptional. They were very kind and had arrived with their own kettle so, I hardly saw them during the day. The roof is flat with a lantern, and, with the windows and doors have given new life to the conservatory and a new modern profile. Over the years, we have had various contractors working at the house, Taylorglaze has certainly lived up to the expectation as a ‘Which Trusted Trader’, indeed, from Tony, to the youngest member of the team, Aaron, they have done that designation proud.

From start to finish Taylorglaze were professional & reassuring. James & James who installed our roof were highly skilled & answered any questions we had. Really nice young men. Dermot our plasterer was a very tidy worker & did a lovely job! We have never had any type of building work done before so we are very grateful for the helpfulness of the whole team. Taylor Glaze fitted our new kitchen windows and slided garden doors. We are very pleased with their workmanship, and the quality of the windows. Since the first quote the whole process had been very reassuring. The communication was great and all the works were done in time and to the budget. The windows’ insurance certificates were sent on completion. I would recommend them, and when we decide to change the remaining windows, we will use them again.

Have just had the work completed on my cottage - 15 sash windows, and could not be more pleased!The whole service from start to finish has been exceptional. There was no heavy sales pressure at all from Dan ,just helpful advice about options and answers to my questions.The quote came within a few days and the work began on the agreed date and finished on time.The quality and Finish on the windows is excellent and they look amazing! The “stars of the show” were the 2 fitters,James and James who were exceptional in every way.They were very professional in their approach ,worked as a team like a “ well oiled machine”and clearly took real pride in their trade.They disposed of all the debris from the old windows at the end of each day, leaving everywhere spotless.Shutters from my old windows were replaced perfectly,with great effort on their part to ensure they fitted onto the new frames. I was very impressed with the work that Taylorglaze provides. They have been contracted to change all windows on our house, UPVS sash in the front and UPVC in the back including garden door. From the start I had excellent communication, I was able to see window samples and could ask every question (and believe me there were a lot of them). I got very clear explanation of the process of installation and during the works I got calls with the main office asking whether I have any comments/needs during works to be acted on immediately. Thay also went above and beyond to satify my request of having a pet door installed. The installers were very polite and neat, generally a really good experience.

We were contacted by Tony Cass from Taylor Glaze, after making enquiries about changing the roof on our conservatory. We were impressed from the off how professional he came across, explaining what the whole process would entail which put us at ease as we had never had this kind of work done before. We contacted Taylor Glaze in the December of 2023 for work to commence on the 2nd of April. James and James who installed the roof were brilliant dealing with some challenging weather as you can expect in April, very likeable guys. The work was carried out to a high standard and in a short time frame. We were impressed on how the job was kept moving once the roof was on the Plasterer came within days and Dermot done a top job and the electrician once the plaster had dried. We would have no hesitation on recommending Taylor Glaze to any one a very professional company 5 stars thank you!

We were very pleased with the service we received from beginning to end. The quote was competitive, the product high quality and the installers, Dave and Ryan, worked efficiently and quickly without cutting corners. We contacted Tony at TaylorGlaze to give us a quote for a conservatory. We’d had a few other quotes but chose to go with TaylorGlaze due to their competitive pricing, friendly service and thorough attention to detail in their pricing/proposals. From start to finish the build has been nothing but professional with Tony on hand to help and offer advise on any minor details or questioning from ourselves. All the contractors arrived on time and were good at their trade, friendly and reliable. No question was a silly question and all of them made us feel at ease with the build. I have to give a shout out to James & James who actually fit the conservatory for us! They are brilliant blokes, going above and beyond to ensure the build was perfect for us. This is in fact the third time we have used Taylor over a period of 12 to 14 years, the windows installed in 2011 are still in excellent condition. We then had them install a rear access door in about 2014 again still in perfect condition so we recently invited them back to replace the front door and adjacent window, which was completed on the 8th. April 2024. The contact with Daniel was very good he provided price and full information in good time. It was also necessary to match the new adjacent 'Stained Glass' window with that which was installed on their first visit back in 2011, Daniel helped greatly with this. The installation team of two fitters arrived on time and carried out the installation works in a professional manner, were clean and tidy and a credit to themselves. A Job well done!

We decided to approach Taylorglaze for a quote as we wanted to support a local business. Having had previous bad experiences with builders we were very cautious about even contemplating doing any minor work, let alone a large extension. However from our initial meeting with Tony through to the end of our project we felt that we were in safe hands. We had our old conservatory taken down and a new orangery extension built in its place plus a patio. We also had 3 new windows as well as new external and internal kitchen doors fitted. We were very impressed with the care they took with our property, covering over our driveway, protecting our entrance hall, which was the only point of entry for them to get through and respecting our home. All the members of the Taylorglaze team were friendly and polite. The build progressed well and Shaun and his team were always approachable and contactable via our little WhatsApp group we set up, should we have a concern about anything. We felt that as the customer we were always listened to and put first. We are very happy with the final build, the standard of work is excellent and we are so glad that we put our faith in Taylorglaze to do the job for us. The fact that Taylorglaze have been around for over 20 years speaks for itself, they have been successful for that length of time because they are professional and put the customer first. My second time using Taylorglaze. After receiving such excellent service the first time there was no question that I wouldn’t be using them again. I have found Daniel and his company to be very helpful, reliable and trustworthy. The price is very reasonable for the quality of product. The fitters are efficient, tidy and respectful. I am very pleased with my new kitchen window and back door and have already noticed a difference in the temperature of the room. I would highly recommend Taylorglaze and their products.

We had our windows and doors replaced by Taylor Glaze. They did a lovely job; the new door has really elevated our home's appearance, and everything has made our home warmer and we now can't hear any street/train noise. The customer service was great and friendly. We also found the price to be very fair and good value, and the quote was free of the pushy sales tactics others in the industry use. Throughout my contact with Daniel and Shaun (the guys in charge of the build of my porch), plus the various teams who carried out the work, my experience was very good. Everyone was extremely professional providing high quality work throughout the build and finishing. They were all respectful, polite and patiently answered every one of my questions as they went along. The weather was against them a good deal of the time but every team continued to provide a high standard of work and were extremely good humoured in the circumstances - hopefully my tea and coffee making helped in a small way to sustain them! I now have a much long wanted, beautifully constructed, high quality porch, which was built to the budget quoted. It is an absolute joy to have. I have no doubt that if there is any follow up work needed I will receive a good and prompt service. I have every intention of using TaylorGlaze again and will have no hesitation in recommending this fantastic company to others.

Upon recommendation, our conservatory roof has been replaced with a solid roof system. From quote to installation Taylorglaze were absolutely superb. From the beginning meeting Daniel for a quote to the end of James and James fitting the windows and doors was a positive experience. We had to replace 4 windows and French doors leading to the garden. Daniel explained how the work would be carried out and the cost was broken down. James and James had to come quite a distance but they were on time. Very very respectful of our home, putting down down sheets all over the carpets and ensuring no damage was done to the exiting brickwork whilst taking out the old wooden frames, Making good and clearing up when finished no problems at all. I would not hesitate in recommending this family run company 10/10 and we will be using them in the future to replace more windows.

Everything, from our first meeting to completion went so smoothly. The company were a pleasure to deal with, totally unlike some other window outfits of which we had one unpleasant experience. No hard sell here, just the information required and good advice. They even managed to secure matching glass for the second, downstairs cloakroom window to match our existing front door. the price was good, product is great and advice was first class.
