Impressed with initial contact when the boss came to take all the necessary measurements. The door arrived earlier than promised and fitters arrived on the agreed date and on time. Both fitters were exceptional in appearance and manners, knew exactly what they had to do and had the job completed in no time. They took the old door away and left with no mess or tidying up to do. Called Tayside Garages after seeing an advert on TV. First impressions were good with a lovely lady on the phone with an excitable dog in the background. Took all information and plan made to visit. Had made a call as my mum's garage door was no longer working. Gavin came to assess then estimate given for job. I didn’t meet Gavin but my mum said he was very helpful and tall! Could have suggested replacement but the option for just getting fixed also given. Estimate given by email, confirmed happy to proceed and further appointment given. Came to house when expected and job done! Would absolutely recommend.

Great customer service from start to finish, staff over the phone and by email in the office were very helpful (Leanne & Simone). Fitters on site were very tidy really decent guys and left a 1st class job Communication throughout was excellent , fitters were arranged to be on site between 9:00am & 12:00 midday received a phone call 30 minutes before they arrived to say they were on their way.

I had a brand new garage door fitted. All work was completed to exactly what we wanted. From the initial inspection right through to the fitment was as exactly as we asked for and completed to the cost and date of when it was fitted. The two fitters were mannerly, well presented and knowledgeable. After fitment I was shown how to operate the door, I.e. raising, locking, opening etc. We will definitely use in the future for any aftercare or repairs necessary.

Garage door cable corroded and snapped on one side. The other side quite corroded too. Engineer turned up early and changed both cables. Also greased everything before demonstrating smooth operation of door. Very quick and punctual worker. Job extremely well done and I can strongly recommend this company.

What a breath of fresh air!!! From initial enquiry through to execution of repair work this was an impressive service. Ladies in the office were great on the phone as was the service engineer. Also the repair part was sourced cheaper than the manufacturer could provide. Highly recommend this company.

I contacted TGD via their website as my garage door operator indicated it required a service after 2,000 cycles. Prompt callback response from TGD office and appointment made for engineer to call. The Engineer arrived promptly on 16th May 2024 and carried out the work carefully and thoroughly. TGD fitted the door and operator in 2018 and the work was done very well such that I have had no issues with the system in the last 6 years and there was no major work required this time to ensure the door remains fit for purpose. Very happy repeat customer of Tayside Garage Doors (TGD).
