Extension build left us without sky q signal, sky came out and advised that they could not help due to personal health & safety. Sky engineer left contact details for an independent engineer who could move the dish, made contact with him but then he said he could no longer do the job. Made contact with Darren, The Aerial Doctor he replied immediately and I probably become his worst nightmare, asking numerous questions, can we do this, can we do that… nothing was a problem and all my questions answered. He arrived at the agreed date and time, accessed the job with me and then checked in at various points of the job. Once work was completed he showed me what had been done and checked everything was working inside. I would recommend 100%

Darren had to move the new satellite dish to a new site to get a strong signal. as trees were interfering with the old position. He also fixed a loose connection in the back of the Freesat box. He was very polite, informative and tidied up after himself. The cost of installation was very competitive. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family

Darren Hughes carried out a wonderful job installing a tv aerial in our loft enabling us to watch live ITV on our tv easily. He was both helpful, & friendly and ran through the whole procedure on arrival. Darren made a great job of it and even boxed off some of the cabling without having to do so, much appreciated. His cabling on the outside of the house was tucked neatly next to the guttering so was hardly visible - good aesthetics & in keeping with the house. 👍🏻 On completion, Darren ran through what he’d done and demonstrated that the chosen channel was working on the tv through the new aerial. He left behind relevant instructions and tacks. Extremely professional, tidy and informative. Would highly recommend Darren, five stars ⭐️ thank you again Darren!

I called Darren at The Aerial Doctor with a view to diagnose and repair/replace a faulty satellite dish which turned out to be a faulty LNB. I cannot fault any aspect of the process. Darren was easy to contact, swift to respond and provided an estimate based on the problems identified and from photos I sent to him of the dish. He arrived punctually and carried out the work to a very high standard. He also provided information as to the nature of the problem and gave friendly advice regarding future upgrades should they be needed or requested. The cost was as per the estimate and very reasonable indeed. Darren would be my first port of call for any future satellite/aerial issue and is now in my phone directory! Many thanks Darren!

Darren gave clear advice about the different types of TV wall mount available and their pros and cons. Once the wall mount had been chosen, it was fitted efficiently, quickly and tidily and the TV put in place - Darren also gave instructions on how to remove the TV should it be necessary. Then the aerial cable was redirected from outside the house through the wall into a better position for the new location of the TV and covered with cable trunking. Again this was done efficiently, quickly and tidily. Lastly, Darren checked the TV to make sure that everything was working as it should. It was! Darren was very helpful and we are pleased with the quality of his advice and the standard of his work.

We called The Aerial Doctor, to see why our TV’s were not working, he arrived at the time agreed. I went through all the problems we were having. He checked through all wiring and tested signal from aerial. We have a limited space in our loft but he managed to get up there and check all the wiring which had been bodged by other aerial specialist in the past. He showed and fully explained everything that needed doing with price breakdown. We agreed and he went to work immediately. He put in a new aerial and new wiring, everything was left tidy and all rubbish taken away. The price in the end was less than quoted. A very professional service and would highly recommend to anyone with TV issues

Darren responded to our call and was able to come round almost instantly. He diagnosed the signal issue and explained what the likely causes might be. Rather than charge for a new amplifier and antenna he advised us to upgrade the amplifier (which was ancient) first and if the problems persisted to review the antenna (equally as old). After installing the amplifier the problem was fixed, and we were advised that as the trees blossom over the summer to assess the signal strength as the foliage can affect the antenna. Not only did we get a great, quick service, but we now are able to better understand any future problems as well. Couldn't recommend Darren enough.

My neighbour recommended Darren. We had multiple problems including bad previous workmanship, broken outside aerial and all our connections had. We chatted before he came so he knew what he was up against. We discussed our needs and he completed all the work including fixing a new aerial, fixed all the connections and redid some of the botched work we had had done previously. All sorted - he returned all the tv’s. Very happy with the work and what a nice pleasant guy. No tutoring or sucking through his teeth. And very reasonably priced too. Our aerial had broken off its chimney mounting. Darren responded to our call quickly. As well as removing the aerial and installing a replacement inside our loft, he re-tuned all our TVs and gave helpful advice. He went up on the roof more than once to check for damage (not easy on our roof). We were very happy with his service and costs.

Darren responded to my phone call quickly and did the work the next day. He got up on my high roof, took down a very old, disconnected, TV aerial and put up a brand new one. Not an easy job by anyone's standards. (The previous person I asked to do the job refused to get on the roof and put an aerial in the loft, with unsatisfactory results). I was very pleased with the work Darren did, and now have a nice bight, clear, constant picture. I recommended him to my neighbour, who also had Darren put a new aerial on her roof. I would highly recommend Darren to anyone needing his services.
