From the initial survey where Rising Damp, and the appropriate remedy was identified, I cannot fault the professionalism, and duty of care which was present from the start, right through to the end of the work. A clear, detailed, and transparent “Survey & Estimate” was provided prior to the agreed start of the work. Prior to the commencement of the work, all affected areas were expertly protected, to ensure no damage to existing flooring, Kitchen Cupboards, fittings etc, also plastic sheeting was used to keep dust confined to the affected areas. Affected walls were stripped back to the brickwork, up to a height of one metre, with a new damp-proof course subsequently installed. Later, following this, the affected walls were skimmed fully to the ceiling. Care was taken at the end of each day to keep all areas tidy in readiness for the next day. All debris was taken away, and at the conclusion of the work, all remnants of protection used for flooring etc was taken away and the area cleaned. I am extremely impressed and happy with the end result, with the area now ready, once the Damp Proofed Plaster has completely dried, for the beginning of decoration. It was patently obvious throughout, that Charlie and Son view excellent Customer Service and Satisfaction as paramount to their business, and were a pleasure to have met and interact with.

When the work was finished, they cleaned up everything really well, remarkably so given the messy nature of the re-plastering. It's too soon to tell if the work has solved our damp problem, but because of their professionalism, I am very confident that it has. On top of all of this, I would like to say that Charlie and his son were very considerate and agreeable to have around. It was a pleasure to have them in our home, and I would recommend them most highly if you have a problem with damp.

Couldn't fault any of the work Charlie and his team did, installing a damp-proof course along our double-fronted detached house. They worked quickly and cleanly with minimum fuss and the finished interior plastering was excellent. 'Did exactly what was said on the tin' so to speak. Would highly recommend.
