I had a back boiler to combine conversion today so pleased with the work done. Robbie and Cammy were great keeping me informed about what was happening. They cleared everything away left no mess at all would definitely give them 5 stars all around and recommend them.

Surveyor did everything he could to find earlier appointment for installation. Provided good advice on best fit and price for my requirements. Boiler fitted only a few days later (Saturday at slightly higher cost than weekday but saved waiting over 2 weeks). Boiler fitted as expected but couple of snags re. space taken up by new flexible pipe and my confusion over where thermostat to be fitted. Both these points were rectified by quality control inspector following Monday. Happy with new boiler, thanks

I have recently had a new Worcester Bosch boiler installed by the Edinburgh Boiler Company. From the initial quote, through to the installation and final inspection, I found everyone at the EBC to be courteous, professional, understanding and willing to do everything they could to ensure I was happy with the service they provided. Everyone arrived at the appointed time and did everything they could to ensure I understood and was happy with the process. They even arranged for a new gas meter to be fitted and called HIVE to ensure my new thermostat was set up correctly and working properly. I cannot fault the Company and I have no hesitation in recommending their services. Thank you EBC for all your hard work. My new boiler has given me peace of mind, knowing it will heat my house efficiently and economically.

Dreadful experience with this company. 3 days after new boiler installed it started to leak. No emergency number to call, sent urgent email which has still not been responded to. Finally found a number and was promised engineer would arrive in morning. No sign. Eventually called them again and engineer turned up at 1.30. That night boiler still leaking. Called 8am next morning. Promised a call back. Never happened. Rang them again at 10am. Didn’t seem to know I had called previously. Told me no engineer available until next day. I am in my 60s, live alone have cancer, diabetes and am clinically vulnerable. Am on the priority list. Boiler still not fixed, still no heating or hot water and two big holes in my wall. Don’t use this company.

During a recent annual gas inspection, a gas engineer has pointed out some concerns regarding the gas installation by Edinburgh Boiler Company. I have photos and a report from an independent gas engineer to prove the issues really are genuine. 1) They left plasterboard debris inside the boiler which he had to clean out - he provided photos of all the debris left 2) There was plasterboard debris left on top of the boiler 3) In the loft area during installation packaging, tubing etc was simply disregarding during installation again the engineer provided photographs of this 4) On a more serious note, the installer (Edinburgh boiler company) had compromised the firestop integrity of the plasterboard ceiling by leaving a big hole when they installed a condensation pipe from the pump. 5) What was also disappointed Edinburgh Boiler Company engineer came out on a previous occasion for a service but did not mention these issues so it makes me question the integrity of the company. This was only brought out by an independent engineer. 6) Also when I informed the company they insisted on a weekday daytime appointment am/pm slot despite the inconvenience that has been caused due to bad installation. It is difficult to get time off work.
