The Garage Door Centre is an independent family run business established in 1990. We are based in Cardiff and we cover all areas of South East Wales and beyond.
We highly recommend a visit to our superb showroom where you can view our extensive range of Garage Doors and Front Doors in full working order in either manual or remote control operation.
We specialize in the supply, installation and repair of all types of Garage Doors and Remote Controls. We also supply and install a superb range of German engineered Front Doors.
We offer a complete personalised service from a full on site, no obligation, free survey to a complete installation by our own fully trained fitters and a comprehensive after sales service.
If it's just a repair you want then call our office where our staff will be able to advise you on any parts and costs involved. The same goes for spares, we carry a vast range of parts and even if we don't stock a particular item we can get it sent overnight.

New garage door fitted by excellent installers Mack & Rhys from this well organised company. Every aspect of the job from the initial competitive quote to the checked measurements and fitting went according to plan. The fitters arrived as planned & worked virtually non-stop throughout the day until completion before tidying the site and explaining the mechanisms etc. This is the first occasion that I have used this company but will not hesitate to make use of their expertise for other projects in the future. Highly recommended to other potential customers.

Ordered early June and installed mid August. Efficient ordering and scheduling of installation. Control box had intermittent problem with door stopping midway. Apparently this new design has some teething problems but new control box was ordered and fitted within weeks and had no issues. Balance of invoice was not required until this issue had been resolved. Good customer service.

Even with regular maintenance every 6 months to our substantial Novoferm garage doors, the motors finally ceased to operate. Lasting 17 years in our exposed hostile location above the sea is remarkable; however all good things come to an end. Will at The Garage Door Centre Cardiff was quick to respond to my request for replacement motors. These were quickly sourced from the German manufacturers along with appropriate running gear & trunking plus 4 new fobs. The order was placed on 01.06.21. Senior fitter Mackey & his able assistant Luke completed all work within an hour on 15.06.21. They were most presentable, knowledgeable and professional at all times. A complete breath of fresh air in today's world! They were a delight to have on site and the job swiftly yet competently completed to my total satisfaction. I will not hesitate to use them again And have already recommended them to others. Well done Will and the team and thank you.

From the same day measurement and quote, through to the installation of my door today I have been delighted with the service I have received. We live in a coastal property and our previous garage doors just were not up to the job. We contacted Rob and his team at the Garage Door Centre in Cardiff for a quotation for replacement doors. The guys worked with us to find a bespoke solution given our exposed coastal location and did so at no additional cost. We now have a much improved solution at an extremely reasonable cost. The doors and adjustments were completed extremely quickly and communication throughout was second to none. We'd have no hesitation to recommend the Garage Door Centre to friends and family.
