Excellent work from a team who knew exactly what they were doing. Initial visit was clear, knowledgeable and extremely helpful, without being rushed. Follow up of visit was good with estimates and further information for different products. A visit to the company to see the different products was easily arranged and I was made to feel welcomed. Schedule of anticipated timing was accurate. Installation was well carried out. Tidy and well spoken team who worked well together, leaving a great result and a neat and tidy site. No hesitation in recommending this company.

Initially it was hard to get through to get a quote. I had been warned about this but I had also been told that the quality of their installation was very good so I persisted. They turned up on time. Everything was extremely well organised and planned. Most materials were either ready or delivered exactly when required. The staff were highly skilled and careful. They didn't damage anything, they minimised mess and cleaned everything up as they went along. I would think my installation was more involved than most because the roof had to be supported, a pillar removed and a new steel beam installed. This was done expertly. Despite supply issues due to COVID-19 the team found alternative sources for the timber and plastics and kept on track. I am a really fussy person and I have to say the Garage Door People exceeded my highest expectations. The quality of the installation was exceptional.

An estimate was provided to cover the cost of our chosen repairs having had all options explained in detail. Simon and his team were efficient, courteous and punctual and the repair costs came in exactly as per the estimate, and although the possibility of extras was explained to us at the start there were no additional charges. We would without hesitation recommend The Garage Door People to anyone and having found them will always use them for any future repairs or installations.

Excellent service from the start. the old door was removed and the new one installed with great efficiency. Throughout from the quote on wards I felt I was dealing with people who were knowledgeable and reliable. Everything that was promised was delivered and I would certainly use them again.

Needed a new garage door to replace an ancient and decomposing wooden effort that was slowly driving me mad. Contacted The Garage Door People and Simon arranged to pop round within a day or 2 and took measurements and photos. He laid out several options without putting on any pressure and promised to get back to me with a recommendation and quote. This duly arrived within a week and was a very reasonable price including removal and scrapping of the old door and fitting the new one. With the garage having a large 4m opening the order took some time to arrive from Germany. Julia managed to programme me in for fitting within a week of the door arriving from the factory. The fitting team were friendly and professional and did a superb job especially considering the constrained access to the garage from the main road. The door looks fantastic and has completely changed the character of the space.
