We can't recommend Matt and his team highly enough. We have had a patio re-designed and laid and a new brick storage shed built and we couldn't be happier with the result. From my first contact, Matt's communication was excellent. We had an idea of what we wanted when we started but as the job developed we altered and adapted a few things. Matt was always happy to listen, discuss different options and provide his professional advice, nothing was too much trouble. I am really happy with the work completed in my garden. The end result is fabulous and it was a very stress free process. From the first meeting with Matt and throughout the work everyone was helpful and considerate. They took care to protect my home as they had to come through it to access the garden, and more importantly for me they took care of my cats. At the start I did not have a clear idea of the end result I wanted and appreciated Matt’s experience and guidance. His recommendations have ensured a successful project.

My husband and I recently move house and we wanted the garden completely redoing. We heard about Matt and his team through word of mouth. Matt came to talk to myself and my husband within a few days of contacting him. He really listened to the style and finish we wanted and was really helpful and forth coming with ideas. Both my husband and I really felt we were included and listened to throughout the planning stage. Work was commenced with 4 weeks of initial consultation. We agreed for a new patio to be laid, 2 raised based made of sleepers to be made, grass to be removed, ground leveled and fake grass laid, and also the construction of a stone gabion wall. Matt, Wayne and Lee were just great. Really kind, polite and Wayne's singing is extremely entertaining. They turned up when they said they would and some days didn't even stop for lunch. All of them are so clean and tidy it was great. We hardly knew they were there. Matt was transparent with costs from the get go and all in all was great. I would highly recommend matt and his team. The quality of there work is worth every penny

I did a lot of research and had a number of quotes, I went with Matt as he had a good knowledge and provided a detailed quote. He is busy but worth the wait. He arrived on time every day, worked hard and I felt went the extra mile to finish off the garden (new patio put in) I’m very happy with the quality of work and how it has turned out.

I approached Matt on the basis of the reviews on this website, and am very pleased that I did. His preliminary visit showed that he was an experienced and knowledgeable professional and understood my requirements. I needed a large amount of concrete taken up, replaced with gravel and a stabilisation grid, a path laid, and some fencing erected, with some planting underneath. The job proceeded smoothly, even when there wasn't a skip to be had in Bristol. I was particularly pleased with his suggestions, which I took up, for improving the look of the path. And his conscientious communication throughout was good too. I am very happy to recommend him and his team. I love my restyled back garden.

We have had a new patio built and an old one replaced, and are so pleased with the quality of the job that Matt and his team have done. He was great at keeping us up to date with what he had planned and when he was going to do it, and when the weather didn't allow, he let me know early in the morning. The attention to detail was excellent, there were two drains that needed to be recessed and hidden, and he even built a flower bed for me to stop my dog from escaping! The guys were friendly and accommodating, even when they had to deal with a problematic neighbour! I would happily recommend The Garden Saint.

I chose this firm partly because of the reviews on here and partly from comparing photos of their finished work with those on other websites, and I was not disappointed. I had Matt and his men in to completely revamp our back garden, replacing disintegrating paving slabs, a poor-quality lawn and a dirty gravel area with new paving, lawn, composite decking, trellises, vegetable patch, fencing and a made to measure wooden gate. I also had a gravel area at the front replaced and a low fence built there. Matt clearly knew what he was doing, and made some useful suggestions, including one about drainage that I had not thought of. The work was completed to a high standard and included a few useful touches like gravelling over narrow spaces and corners. Matt and his two helpers were friendly and efficient, and he was personally involved most of the time - I had a bad experience in the past where the guy giving the quote knew what he was doing but left the work to a couple of unsupervised trainees. Everything was cleared away and tidied up at the end, and the cost was fair for the work done.

We used The Garden Saint Ltd to completely renovate our garden, including laying a new patio, garden path, pergola and fence. Right from the outset, Matt was responsive and clearly wanting to deliver our vision. Unfortunately, the work was delayed due to the lockdown. However, the garden has just been finished and we couldn't be more pleased. I had high expectations of the outcome based on the way Matt had interacted with us before it started - but, the final result surpassed our expectations. Matt and his team were meticulous with all aspects of the job - making sure everything was executed perfectly. We really can't find a fault. They were especially organised, clean and tidy. Highly professional. My only negative comment is that the weather has been rubbish since the work finished and we've not yet been able to relax in our lovely outdoor space.
