I had such a bad condensation problem I was on the verge of moving. I was limited which walls I could wallpaper and where I could hang photos, because in certain places they just got mouldy. I would wipe down my bathroom and within an hour it looked as though it had been hosed down. Windows and grouting looked dirty, but it felt pointless cleaning them. Water dripped off my window handles. I just felt like I was in a constant battle with my house. A previous firm wanted to damp proof random walls, costing thousands, but the quote didn't feel like it was solving the problem. Thank god I came to Hive for a second opinion! They listened to what was actually bothering me and recommended a solution that cost a fraction of price. Not only has it solved the problem, but it did so within days! Everyone was easy to deal with, turned up when promised (which seems to be a rarity), did what they said they would and tidied up after the work. I've been able to clean the mould, confident it won't immediately come back, and rehang pictures that were previously getting ruined. Thank you for helping me to love my house again!

Picked up the Hive Damp proofing company from some good reviews on your Which Trusted Trader site and was very glad that I did. Jonathan initially gave me a clear idea of where the problems were and what was needed to solve the issue, which not only represented the damp proof course to a wall in the living room and kitchen, but also a replacement to the water outlets outside of these walls, in order that the problem did not re-occur. The Hive team were friendly and courteous and did a great job from start to finish!

Jonathan came out promptly in response to my telephone enquiry and confirmed my suspicions about rising damp in the bay window area. Work was booked in and two lovely chaps- Stuart and Josh - turned up nice and early on the agreed day and worked tirelessly to do the damp proofing. They were very friendly and courteous and kept me informed about what was happening. I really appreciated the tidying up and hoovering at the finish and moving back of sofas etc. Excellent job!!

We had a survey done on the property we bought, which found damp in the utility. We called Hive and Jonathan came out to give a quote, he was very friendly and explained everything in detail. We got the work booked in swiftly. The guys doing the work did a great job, and even tidied up after themselves and were both very friendly. Would recommend!

We found rising damp in our home, and found The Hive Efficiency Group online and gave them a call to come and have a look and quote us for the work that needed to be done. Jonathan came out that day and had a look for us, and explained about what issue we had in great detail so we understood what needed doing. A few weeks later we called up and booked an appointment for his team to come round and sort it out. They were such a lovely group of guys, very kind and answered all of our questions in great detail as well as putting up protective sheeting to avoid dust going all over the house while they were working, and cleaned up everything before they left. The team also took photos throughout the process for us to have for our records too which is always helpful. Thank you so much Hive Team! I cannot recommend this company enough. From original visit, quotation, to works being carried out, I was treated with respect, and everything was explained in detail. The gentleman who carried out the work were professional and courteous, work was 1st class. They protected not only my flooring and furniture, but took the trouble to move ornaments etc. They left my home spotlessly clean. Thank you all
