I felt I had to write a review as I've recently experienced such a fantastic service from The Oil Tank Company Ltd and wanted to share with others so they may benefit also. From the first point of contact I had with Caroline I realised I was dealing with a professional company and I was not mistaken. Simon visited the next day and provided a quotation which was acceptable and a date was booked. Come the day of replacing the existing tank, the only way to describe it is 'like a military exercise - done with precision'. The team arrived, everyone just got on with their jobs and just over an hour later the operation was complete. It's amazing how easy the professionals can make things look. A first class service provided by a first class team. Thanks to all involved - much appreciated.

Checked the oil in my 20 year old metal tank Monday and ordered for delivery later that week. Boiler and aga serviced next day and the engineer wrote "Urgent Tank replacement needed". Checked it out, could smell it before I got there, dripping oil out from one corner. I found the oil tank company listed locally, Caroline at the office organises a site visit by Simon and the next day we have a brand new plastic bunded tank installed, old tank taken away, transfer of oil to new tank and electronic gauge fitted. I genuinely thought we would have to wait over a week and that would have been acceptable. The lads who installed were thoroughly professional and helpful. I cannot recommend this company enough.

When your oil tank needs replacing, you need to find a company who are going to respond quickly and efficiently. Thanks to a recommendation from our oil supplier, we contacted The Oil Tank Company. They visited immediately, sent a quote out the next day, and came and completed the job the following day. We dealt with an advisor called Simon. He gave us full peace of mind and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The guys who fitted the new tank were brilliant. Polite and nothing was too much trouble. I can't speak highly enough of this organisation.

Installation Guys Great - The Manager Dreadful

The guys who carried out the installation of my new oil tank were really great and did a good job. But there was a problem at the end as my boiler would not fire (it was a new boiler and had been working fine before it was turned off for the installation). The Manager tried to fob me off - suggesting it was just serendipity (what?) and said it was a boiler problem so nothing to do with him. I was flabbergasted. But luckily one of the installation guys persevered (despite being told by Manager to leave the site) and he found an air bubble in the boiler feed and fixed it. So 5 stars for him, and 0 stars for the Manager. Throughout this job communication with him was poor, not replying to emails and not confirming when to expect installers etc. Not impressed.

I contracted the Oil Tank Company Ltd to supply and install a new oil tank, and reposition the tank to a completely new location on my property. From initial contact right through to completion of the work, the company was great to work with. All communication was timely and accurate, the advice given was really helpful, the quotation was very reasonable and there were no hidden costs added. When the work was carried out everything was completed professionally, efficiently and exactly as promised in the quotation. If you ever need to replace an oil tank, I would totally recommend this company.

I had several quotes for a new tank. I always get several. It gives me a ball park figure to work round and I can see under pricing, over pricing and compare the operating practices. The Oil tank company come out best in the balance of my criteria and from the start I was confident that they would supply a good service. My calls or messages were answered promptly (thanks Caroline!) The site survey was conducted in professional and knowledgeable way (some firms did a survey from description only) Pricing was accurate and acceptable. The crew that attended were presentable. Well equipped. Well supervised and super efficient. The team were clearly very experienced, knew their trade and were very professional. They had all the correct tools including a Hiab to lift the oil tank out and the new one in which the other companies couldn't supply. (The other companies wanted me to dismantle a boundary fence.) The job was completed speedily with no inconvenience to me and they left the site immaculately clean. The team gave me a very complete hand over and instructions on the maintenance and management of the new tank. Highly recommend this company!

The Oil Tank Company were a pleasure to deal with. From the initial survey to the completed installation of a new tank took less than a fortnight in spite of there being a Bank Holiday in that period. On the day of installation they phoned ahead to say they would be a bit late arriving due to traffic problems and that was much appreciated. I was apprehensive about the amount of disruption that the need for a new tank would cause....but there was none. Definitely a company I would recommend without hesitation.
